It's start to disturb me that she's rarely actually here.

Meh. Don't worry about it too much. She's in the QT daily. She's just letting me take the lead for right now.

Alright. Caught up. Need to see more reactions and talk to my Leelou.

It's start to disturb me that she's rarely actually here.

It's the weekend. I'm not around much on the weekends. Plus y'all post too much. I'd be more worried that Cory dropped off the face of the game.

Need to discuss with Yates, but still not getting good feelings from Key/BFG and adding Alanna to that list from her reaction to Des.

Look, I wasn't focusing/trying to emphasize the town roleblocker possibility. I think Despo is exaggerating that, which anyone can see if they go back and look at my actual posts. I brought it up a couple times because whether it was likely or not, it was a possibility, and there were a couple times were people said it wasn't possible. Rags even asked at one point is there was any possible way one of them wasn't scum, so I answered. I never thought it was a likely possibility.

As for my supposed slip - at the time that I posted, I was thinking in terms of Tommy being town, yes. Why didn't I say that at the time? Because it wasn't an entirely conscious consideration. It wasn't until someone pointed out scum roleblocker that I realized I was thinking that way. I've been warily leaning town on Tommy since EOD, and his BP claim bolsters me not wanting to lynch him. If the other option - about him being scum and Despo being scum roleblocked - had occurred to me when I made my original post, yes, I would've included it.

FWIW, I don't think Despo's gambit was nearly as effective as he thinks it was (as is usually the case). And I mostly think this because BFG is one of the people he "trapped" with his gambit? I looked back and she said practically nothing. I'm really looking forward to see how her response equates to her falling into his trap.

Anyhow, just caught up really quick and now I have to get to work. I will be trying to keep up with the game on mobile at work, if I don't have too much to do.

Alanna, I think the concern that you have been somewhere in the town-to-null-to-sneaky range throughout the game is a valid one. The problem isn't really that you're overtly scummy, but it's that your actions and the things you comment on could be forwarding a rather sly scum agenda.

Do I agree with Des that you are lock scum? No. But I can see how you would have had a successful tactic thus far of being an in-the-background-and-reasonable voice who isn't rocking the boat too hard as scum.

So anything you can do to propel yourself out of that nullish range, for example by providing strong stances on the players and the direction town should take today and tomorrow, would be helpful for the process of elimination.

Because it was (game) nighttime, and then it was sleepy time.  I'm content with where my vote is.  Could possibly move back to Verb.  And watching this whole chestnut play out was good in it's own way.

Can you give me more than that

if verb is scum, then lates becomes suspect.

WHAT?! WHY WOULD YOU THINK THIS?! JUST BECAUSE WE WOULD WANT MORE THAN JUST DAY ONE TO DETERMINE ALIGNMENT?! IF YOU DON'T STOP CALLING US SCUM WE ARE GOING TO QUIT!!!!!

That's how these posts come across. It's just childish. Or potentially scummy.

leelou can apparently read verb, and has been reading him as town.

what are you even talking about? this is just hyperbole and silly. it has nothing to do with what i did or do.

alanna is town

coria is town

probably/i think

Then who is scum? It's not me. And you're saying all my reads are wrong. Who is scum then. Not rags. He's my stromgest town read right now.

This is where we currently are, having mulled some stuff over. We've both sort of skimmed the stuff since the EOD1 and I desperately need to reread.

Blue (confident in these):

Manbat - Reads as Town

Arsis - still in Town meta, claimed Watcher, should be obvious

Des - almost want tomput him as red for lols, but we're both happy he's town.

Tommy - after discussion decided that we're being to cautious. Still some things I'm looking for.

Green:

Dice - I feel his 'tone' is closer to his town game, but I can't follow his logic for either of his votes.

Light green:

Yates/Leelou - mostly an early game feel, but can't remember what it was specifically right now, Key's concerned that Yates should be reading her better, AJ as well but he's survivor so doesn't care.

Cory/Hallia - Hallia seems good, but I can't get over how bad Cory's meta of me is, plus pissed off over his using my RL to say I'm avoiding the thread. Should probably be higher. A Cory ISO, first four pages read well, then his bad meta on me, plus his shoot 5 low posters seems lazy and contradicts what he was saying earlier about some players struggling to keep up. Something I picked up in ISO is that Cory didn't enter the thread with his usual bravado, wvn compared to Discworld.

Berf - Key has him as looking townish, her exact response towards EOD1 was 'I feel all kinds of messed up because Berf now sounds townie'. I'm a little concerned by how he agrees that Verb has his old DM mafia style spot on, but later says he doesn't see much of a difference, and also the phrase Tommy being Tommy sort of pings

Yellow: mostly a POE

Rags - don't know his game at all, so don't know how he plays, no real bad vibes, top of the yellows for now.

Sili - some stuff bothered me early game, I'll try and find it, but I got the impression in a few places that he's taking what Tommy says about LOLDMTOWN to heart and was trolling for a bit, until EOD. Manbat reading him blue makes me hesitate some, Key's also reading him a little higher than I am.

Verb POE for me, Key's reading him townish, in part due to strong opening. We're both considering Leelou's opinion here

Alanna POE for me, Key also remembers Alanna as being cautious as mafia

Pral - don't understand how he can have AJ as 'null' after AJ claimed Survivor, reads like he's not paying attention to the thread which is unlike Pral, but also would have been mentioned in a mafia QT so???

Still not really reading anyone scummy, so nobody is an orange per say.

Purple:

AJ

*Le sigh*

personally and frankly, tom's told me not to give in the towel, which is the only reason why i'm not self-voting and saying screw it.

Would you agree that I have been patient with you and treated you with respect? I hope so because I feel that I have. It's with this mutual understanding that you need know that what I'm saying is absolute truth. The next time you cry about wanting to quit? Do it. Just quit the game. Take a break. I'm not interested in hearing about it anymore. Otherwise, I'm just going to assume you are scum appealing to emotion. You have become the boy who cried wolf - and now I'm going to assume that's a literal statement.

And that goes for everyone. If you aren't emotionally mature enough to have disagreements in a forum mafia game about deception and deceit, then maybe this is the wrong game for you. I'm sure there's a Candyland or tic-tac-toe board somewhere. I don't want to hear about you threatening to quit. Just freaking DO IT.

i can't stomach certain situations very well. this has little to do with emotional maturity, overall. and i'm getting better about it.

still, it get's tiresome to fight for my wincon sometimes. next time i say anything ill sub out.

obviously i've annoyed you, so i'm sorry about that.
