I think his claim is fine - I don't have any immediate problems with it, other than him not entertaining the thought that his role could put town in an auto-lose position if he goes into a scenario with 4 players left and 1 scum.  If day phase, there is 1 final lynch left.  If night, then the game is already over because they'll kill Tommy and then another without a lynch in between.

I have a bad feeling from Cory's earlier posts and I'm completely torn between him and Hallia. If it was just Hallia, I've had read her as town. If it was just Cory, scum. I know you think Alanna is town, but do you have any inkling she could be scum? 

 

 

Why are you town on Hallia?  Can you use a reason other than her "new" tone?

Best time to do it is never, yes.  But then you let scum make the decision, and they WILL use it at the worst time for town.

If I haven't been clear before, town has PRs that can do stuff at night.  And without being run up and revealed, they can hurt scum.  But not if they are outed or dead.  So to avoid a negative utility role being used against town at the worst moment, town should take control of it soon(er).
