nothing complicated: avoiding messages inbetween when two people are in a nice discussion so it's easier to read afterwards. But now that i'm posting anyways: Both you and AJ sound a bit childish, bickering over tiny things.

I've already explained that I've hard cleared tom straight out of the gate in over ten different games so I don't know why people are still trying to use that as evidence for me being scum.

 

Okay, lets move on for a bit. Care to give thoughts on Thane, Des and Arsis?

I came into this thread and saw thane was already acting massively different then he was in the previous game where he was scum. He has about twice as much volume here then he did there, therefore he was my first clear.

 

Arsis I was originally leaning scummy on for a variety of reasons but after much analysis and after his display of absurd stubbornness I believe that exact stubbornness to be his town tell.

 

Des I believe carries much more wim as a villager than he does as a wolf. That's not to day his wolf game is bad but I really genuinely believe he is pressing tommy and I for what he believes to be genuine reasons.

Arsis there is no such thing as a universal scum tell. There is no one thing that only scum does and no villagers ever do.

 

People play this game vastly differently especially considering the variety of backgrounds that people come from irt to playing mafia/werewolf, and therefore all have different ideas about how to play and what is and is not scummy.

 

I believe it was you yourself that stated that you need to be able to adapt to the site if you want to fit in, well I offer you your own advice: you need to be able to adapt to other people's playing style and accept that some of the fault of misreading someone does in fact lie on you, the player that is misreading them. Of course if someone is playing in such a way as a villager that they get mislynched the fault is also on them, but as villagers we have to be able to look past the "wifom" and read and analyze players alignments despite that.

 

Which also brings me to Cory's point of "just because tom is a hard read, you don't get to excuse yourself from reading him." I've born witness to over 3 of Tom's scum games and watched him snake past a lynch multiple times. Despite this, even some games immediately afterward, I cleared him as town anyway. You don't just get to say "thus person

- Reasons provided (or lack of) why people are voted

- scumreads by players who don't vote scumreads

- lack of humor

I also believe verbal is a villager after rereading a few times, considering his overall interest in the game combined with an against the grain line of thinking that I believe is a > rand villager mindset, especially given the gamestate we've beBen in where it would be much easier for the mafia to coast and watch the town argue about the #alliance for days on end, or just comment on it with one or two sentences and otherwise leave it alone.
