meh... getting the sense arsis is playing up an angle.

What angle? I made my reads. I voted. I'm good for day 1. I don't like town alliances day 1. I think it's the stupiest thing possible. Scumbat gets to hide behind other people's reads. Tommy can have 100 posts of 90% fluff and its cool. If we lynch town there is no accountability for reads. "I was just following the alliance"

Makes me wanna pull that stuff up on Manbat- I thought his reaction to my fos was turrible, and I was worried some of the stuff that came up immediately after could have been a smokescreen to help bury that stuff

Wow. Dice being more aggressive than I'm used to seeing. It feels......weird.

It's kind of a new meta for him, but def more of a towntell to be sure. Taking it for granted that he IS more aggressive here, will have to look out for that later

"the alliance rides together" post by manbat when he changed his vote to shadow tommy should be an automatic lynch. Yet, because he said he was in an alliance no one suspects that kind of behavior? I'm sorry, that doesn't fly with me.

my god... it is surprisingly easy to float into the background here. no wonder all the wolves slank lmao

I literally just said that and you told me I'm working an angle.

^arsis, i don't think that's what happened, but you're seriously following up on this alliance business too hard. it's been covered in depth already. no one, that i deem trustworthy at least, likes it.

Most scum are likely in the slankers. Arsis is the wolfiest of the active posters.

that one is clear enough

##Berf or Arsis or Verb all deserve increased scrutiny.

this one   except for arsis cause of early post is non committal. Increased scrutiny = more looking at. more reading of. considering berf has like 1 post thats not a surprise. but it is NOT you saying i think these players are mafia. More Scrutiny gives you an out if you need it later on.

I think I kinda like it.

I like it as well, but it still feels out of character for him. I can't remember ScumDice, though.........anybody?

He hides, trips all over himself and gives up his team.

tell me what you REALLY think leelou!!!    and i dont think i have ever actually outed my teammates btw. the hide bit?  there are times ive stayed out of the thread on purpose but i think most of that was a time dif thing and the fact i could not post from work. shrug  whatevs

Sorry but we are not policy lynching someone for doing something that probably makes them more likely to be a villager

What policy lynch? Following someone's reads and votes isn't town behavior.

Monstr is known as "Cory's double vote" on VS.

It is not a scumtell in any sense.

except cory. or maybe i should ask. cory, what are your thoughts on alliances?

I don't think alliances are a "real" thing. I would lynch Monstr or Tommy if I thought they were wolfy. It's not like it's anything out-of-game. Monstr is probably just "sponging" one of his townreads who knows the field better than him and I think that's typically fine play.

It came into existence because some of us played on POG and got a string of somewhat one-sided townsweeps because power players correctly cleared a whole bunch of villagers early and scum basically got POE'd instantly.

I will build bridges with my ~strongest townreads and try to get on the same page with them, but that varies game to game. I think it's really more of a inside joke that's very outdated and just gives certain players bad feelings because it seems to reference something out of game, which it isn't.

It is. I don't care that he always does it. It's still anti-town to allow that kind of behavior especially on day 1.

##Arsis

You've blown what suspended disbelief I had that you were trying to figure out the game. You're re-branding what is and is not wolfy in a vacuum to suit an agenda of throwing dirt on the town core -- while ignoring the individual behaviors of the players exhibiting them.

A scumtell in a vacuum is not a scumtell for every player.

Perfect examples: Salami and White Knighting, Salami and AtE, and Monstr and sheeping his townreads.

Well I suppose I should start with a question first. Why cope? it's so hopeless, yet defiant in a way mope isn't.

There is a cost, my friends
Of living out some other dream to find the consequence
It comes and goes in seasons around here, I thought again
There's nothing left around to yield this sorry ignorance
If I do let go, I hope you never see
There is no one there that's waiting after me
And I hope if there is one thing I let go
It is the way that we cope
