well to be quite honest, it's like swimming with the river's current. I sit and see that all there is to be held and tasted is summer salt lapping at the belt. A coral reef, where the show is funneled and beholden as a gift, and for its sake i must be in equal parts modest and content that I am just a participant. my impression is agreeable because the level of activity means i dont have to be a particularly active participant as i've needed to be in the past. tom was incorrect by the way, this is my 2nd or third game, and i would like to be mafia at some point just to put on the skin.

 

 

Maybe I'm misunderstanding Tom's question here, but Sili managed to completely dodge it and still sidestepped it pretty well when AJ asked for clarification.  The language barrier might come into play here, but I know lots of non-native English speakers who are fully capable of being forward.  I'm getting the impression that he's trying to avoid giving us stuff to work with.

I love everything about this post, except that it doesn't contribute anything and you managed to completely dodge Tom's question.

 

Obviously you think I'm mafia.  What other reads do you have?

 

tom seems villager. but to mention, this is only my third game with him, and my first game with you. so my read of him is partly due to my need to trust him and others concerning your meta, and the meta of other people as well.

 

csarmi and aj, even though they voted me, seem town. of course for me to conclude that is sort of dishonnest because i haven't played with them before and don't know their tells. still, from what i gauge of their personalities they appear town at a glance.

 

 

NOPE!   I get that he's the only one you know so you're going to be a little hesitant - that happened to me when I first played here, too.  That being said, you have terrible justification for reading him as town - you have to assume he's town so that you can believe him about the meta of the person you're trying to lynch?

 

 

 

I've only really been here since page 30, so bare that in mind when I say despothera is a little excessive in the quantity of his posts, but somewhat lacking in the quality of their contents. I have a feeling he might be scum, wouldn't be surprised, and have no problem with somebody confirming my thoughts and making a wagon of it.

 

That said my experience and evidence is fairly shallow so if you're not already swaying one way or the other don't let my opinion teeter you over the edge.

 

Also, maybe someone could expain why clovdyx and woobat(that's his name?) are no longer a suspects? I don't have a strong conviction, but last I read of clovydx he was wolfish and the same goes for woobat(hope that's his name). clov more than woo.

 

 

So your top suspects are the two people that Tom's taken the most issue with today.  Your third is somebody that Tom had just finished explaining why he (Des) was giving bad vibes.  Are you trying to solve the game, or are you trying to cater to Tom?

I wasn't trying to avoid the question. I don't think I did.

 

My read of Tom is that his tone is similar to how it was when I saw him play Town... but I should be clear. I also explained that he spoke in my defense when he didn't have to, which surprised me. It was unnecessary.

 

It's not my fault you and wombat are a little scummy.

 

I had my suspicions about despothera before Tom explained anything. In fact, I didn't even know Tom explained anything so that might not even be accurate. I decided to ask Despothera if he usually posted so much after I was off work. That should be proof, but if you want to go back farther I raised an eyebrow back at page 30 or something when he posted for 2 or 3 pages full of spew.

 

 

I'll try to remember your preference in the future.

 

I was under the impression Tom was asking you for reads/stances.  Even if he was simply asking what you thought about the style/atmosphere, your first response was very obscure.  Tom says I make a lot of cryptic posts (less so now than he used to), but I legitimately had no idea what you were trying to say there.  It read like you wanted to give an answer without REALLY giving an answer.

 

I'll re-read with the tone thing in mind and see how it feels.

 

If you think we're being scummy, it's not your fault.  But given that there's no objective definition of "scummy", simply stating you were means next to nothing, and the fact that everybody your suspicious of lines up perfectly with who Tom is suspicious of is a hell of a coincidence.

 

 

Lastly....asking him if he always posts so much is proof you were suspicious of him being scum?

He's sitting back and observing a bit too much for my taste. I expect him to be a lot more hands on as town. I think it was Des who pointed at this as a positive thing but I disagree.

 

I had him as null. Didn't really see anything that made him go into my town leans. And in light of his recent posts it made him go even lower on my list. Or up... depending how you look at it. He's being very narrow minded by saying that my scum leans are bad and most likely contain 0 wolves. I would have expected him to be a bit more open minded and explore what I've brought to the table. But he just labeled my list as no good and moved on just because he says so. Add to that the LOL comment about not making him shoot me at night and him telling us we should just trust him and vote Wombat..... just lol. And there was of course the whole segment about how much fun he was going to make of my reads post game... bla bla bla... trying to make me lose confidence in my leans.

 

If his case on Wombat is that rock solid then he shouldn't need to tell us o trust him and Tom and instruct us to sheep them. The case should stand by it's own merits and people should be drawn to vote there without him needing to nudge everyone in that direction.
