Captain Malcolm Reynolds was not given to deep thoughts and introspection, but as he paced through the corridors and chambers of his Firefly-class ship, he found himself considering how the Serenity had become home, and her crew his family.  And there was a gorram traitor in his home.

 

Damn shame about what happened to Kaylee, he thought.  Such a waste.  The traitor was still sending messages from his ship.

 

Where would they go?  He scowled as he strode past the crew's quarters.  "Ah!  The cargo hold!"

 

The hold was dimly lit, but Mal could find his way around it with his eyes closed.  He knew every inch of Serenity.  And he knew the noises that didn't belong from the far side of the room. 

 

The voice behind him stopped him in his tracks.  "Captain Reynolds.  What an unfortunate visit... for you."   Cold steel pressed against the back of his neck, and the shot that took his life went unheard.

Zoe had gone in search of Mal early that morning, and once his body was found in the cargo hold, she gathered the remaining crew and passengers in the galley.

 

"Is everyone here?"  Her steely gaze raked across the faces crowding the room.  "Who's missing?"

 

Inara was the one to speak.  "Nandi isn't here.  We shared a pot of tea and talked late into the night, but she should have heard it when you knocked on her door this morning."

 

They found her lying in her bed, a single bullet hole in her forehead.

 

"They shot Nandi?  Who would have shot an ex-companion?  Seriously."

How to handle games with such a high volume? Complete rereads seems to be quite impossible. What do you do?

I was thinking he was null because he's done this as town several times; I wanted to punish him for not playing but you were voting him for being scum not on policy / exasperation. Please elaborate.

Jump around at random. I'll go to page 35, 55, 78, etc until something catches my eye.

Because of my many scum games at VS, and one at WF - he did the very thing as scum

I don't remember that he was looking hard at anyone in particular, but I want to look back too. I suspect it was more because he's a smart player, and by the end if Day 1, most people were townreading him, so he wouldn't have been an easy lynch target. Well, no more than usual, anyway.
