Alright you guys are right

I'm kind of ashamed of myself to be honest and I have no excuse for my play.

I promise I'll step it up and give you a full analysis when I get home (I re fixed my computer last night, so yay.)

Don't worry, I'm a villager and I'll try my hardest to make that really obvious.

At a cursory glance, using the magic of feels I can tell you this:

My strongest villagers are slender, despot, tom, darthe and probably halligeddon after that. With the way the wagons were building yesterday combined with how they claimed I just couldn't see it coming from anyone but a villager.

I think tom, Despot, slender and darthe are being pretty transparent tbph, and they've taken it upon themselves to take the initiative and I sense a tinge of game solveriness and organic reads that I don't believe they're faking.

My strongest wolf lean is krak, because those wolfy pop ins yo.

I'm leaning town on dice and arsis. Dice because I think the fact that I was townread and otherwise ignored by everyone and he brought it upon himself to try and direct the conversation back at me looks pretty good in a vaccuum. I don't imagine wolves often being the first to throw a finger at someone who was out of everyone's poe.

I'm sponging the read on arsis because despot seems pretty convinced.

Everyone else is null or I've forgotten they're in the game as this is just reads from memory and I'll go more in depth once I get my hands on a computer

I don't agree on Darthe at all. Look at his posts to me. He's using emotional nonsense against me. It's all "I don't like him and you can't read doosh" it's never "Arsis did x which looks like he is covering for this guy" or anything like "here he says this guy is scum but votes for this guy anyway" the only thing he said was that I was hesitant to unvote vos because I would be the leader. When I unvoted 4 seconds later in my next post. It's just using emotional arguments and nonsense and latching on to the littlest thing. That whole "Arsis is town-telling and it bother me thing" wasn't good. Although it could be that he is town and legitimately doesn't like me. I think it's more likely he's scum.

Meri I do not get AT ALL where you made the connection between Turin and the Poisoner

Like I think they're scum big time yet I still don't see where you see an evident connection

WHY do you think Turin would have poisoned you, or that you would have been poisoned to make Turin look bad? I have no idea where you're coming from with that

I was saying I didn't think Turillian and the Poisoner were connected. >.< But it seems to me that if the Poisoner is playing for Town, then he/she could be taking care of two birds with one stone by removing me and casting suspicion on Turillian.

I could be completely off I guess.

So village healer changes the possibilities a bit. The poisoner might be scum and might be x-shot or something, doubt it's unlimited, but it would be an important scum PR since they probably don't know there's a town healer, meaning one of the people I tried to pressure but caught flak for, like Pral, would be a poisoner candidate

Do we know that there is a Healer?

TSB is like Des, me, and NotBob fused together.

Like, fused romantically? Ew.

Either way, I'll take your comment into consideration as I get a better read on you. You're towntelling early though.

@TG when you got the chance - how was Tom towntelling?

Csarmi: I'll pass this along to TG in hydra.

Salami has claimed healer and asked if you should be healed yes

Town healer means 3rd party/scum poisoner.

Town healer/town poisoner doesn't make sense.

I'd say heal them. At worst we get hallisalami clear as a sunny day.

Posted

The way I've seen it done in the past is both scum and town get a poisoner and town has a healer. So scum tries to poison a wolfy villager so that the townie doesn't know which one to heal.

Poisoning TG is just such an odd choice for the main mafia faction. Poison ME, at least. Don't poison TG. He claimed miller. Scum doesn't kill millers. So I would guess the poisoner is third and this is a WF-esque game that Cory designed and we have like 2 or 3 indies. I don't know if a poisoner SK even make sense though, so maybe the poisoner is scum and they thought either TG was getting cleared by people too easily due to his claim or thought he was lying? I don't know, but something's stupid about this situation if we do have a healer.

Official Vote Count:

Arsis (3) – dice, PralHalligeddon

TI (3) –  GleMeri, nervositee, manbat

Nervositee (7) - Des, TheSlenderMan, TI, Arsis, Tomstress, AJ, Darthe

Halligeddon (3) - Yates, SickPuppets, Krak

Not Voting (1): Torrey_Smith's_Brother

With 17 alive, it takes 9 to lynch!

Majority was not met, but deadline was. Nervositee was lynched!

Scene incoming.

The votes that stand out in the vos train are Arsis and Darthe.

Arsis vote came at a time when the votes were closely tied and it was the point where it tipped towards Vos. Definitely trying to put the focus away from him. His vote was also meh. He just sheeped SlenderMan's and Des' arguments against vos.

[unvote] [v]vos[/v]

Pulling those quotes up actually convinced me.

I'm still scum lean on turi. Darthe also weirded me out by being being almost spot on with my meta and then saying I'm scum for being in my town meta.. It was just strange. Tsb is still scum if anyone is curious.

Darthe's votes came at the fag end of the day when it was almost sure that vos would be lynched. Looked more like an attempt to get brownie points. Irrespective of his vote, vos would have been lynched.

Recent posts from Arsis have been a lot tighter and I hate him for it :/

Im gonna break the tie soon and go either hally or vos if I dont see anything different by the time im caught up. Im about two hours back in terms of posts atm but I know that they are tied now.

1st line looks like it could be scum mad that a top mislynch target is towntelling

Quoted this post mainly because of Darthe saying he'd go either Hally or Vos... since I remembered TI was still a top wagon. VC from the page before:

I am looking at it more like he has been distancing from Arsis and this was a good excuse to put the vote on a townie (or whom was thought as a townie) on Day 1

Classy. Trying to speed lynch when you knew that I would be absent. It is a scummy move but I have seen you do that as a townie and with success. Good thing it didn't happen.

I had suspicions of Pral early in the game for his opening post(s). I went back and looked at his play in Twilight as mafia and his play as town in Dr. Who and I found something I think might be a tell for him; a habit of writing paragraphs that have too many forced connectors. He'll say things like "And there, I found" or "And while I'm on the topic" to connect thoughts that don't flow easily from an organic thought process.

He also doesn't have much to say. I noticed in the prior town games of his that I looked at, he had one common theme: detailed reads list. Absent here. He's given very one-dimensional reasons for his stances, so simplistic that I don't see how they can be real.

Here's his reasoning for voting Arsis:

"Vote: Arsis on that note. [<--- on that note is one of those connectors I was talking about]

From what I have caught up so far (around 35 pages), he comes across as being too concerned for what people talk against him and trying to influence actions on others. In the few games I have played with him, he seems care-free in the first few days and that tone is missing in this game."

Yates, I guess, I have talked about him in my earlier posts."

Posts like: "Not sure about the new people yet. Despo looks slightly townish so far." or "Ok, caught up a bit more and Arsis seems as bad as I had him before. So, my vote stays there."

Just very SIMPLE. Too simple.

I see some bits of townish phrasing in his posts too, but I'm definitely concerned.

I do use a detailed read list a lot but I do that both as scum or town. And, i don't do it in all games. And, definitely don't do it on D1.  It was clear that i was still in the process of grasping the game while getting the reads of players.

As to the argument that my reasoning was very simple, I agree that in some places it was. The Arsis read is not, though. I have a strong scum read on him and at that time, it was a pure meta read.

You have been after me whole of D1, but you are barking up the wrong tree. I am town and that's all I can say now.

Posted

@pral, what games were we in together and which of those were I scum? Just trying to understand the basis of your pure meta read.

Anyone wanna CFD Pralaya?

CFD...?

[v]Pralaya[/v]

Oh, what's the deal with Pralaya? I've seen a few votes on him before by you and others but why?

I feel like Pral is easy lynch bait. Not going there today.

Usually Tom switching votes with little reason so close to deadline doesn't bother me, but trying for a CFD on Pral without dropping a solid reason right away doesn't sit well with me right now.

Didn't have that much against Pray before but 3 people I find questionable all defending him @ EOD looks pretty bad for him

Don't think they would ALL as scum be defending him, but still

Interesting point.

I would guess that they could be trying to get some town-cred if in case the CFD went through and I flipped town.

Go and look back at who were trying to nudge against Tommy end of D1- Yates, Darthe, Arsis, Krak

Underwhelmed, Pral.

Don't see a natural train of thought in the order you present things and how you point out things you've (to my recollection) never referred to before.

Tom taught me a fun bit of terminology in one game: 'terminating' vs. 'open-ended'. 'Terminating' stances and statements on everything, as in needs to 'close' the discussion/thought that was started for the sake of having contributed and appearing Pro-Town.

Seems 'blocky' and artificial is what I'm saiyan'.

None. As I said in that post that Tommy quoted, your meta was quite different from the other games I have played with you where you were town or 3rd party.

Posted

End of day I was off tommy. I tried to push him first because he made "mistakes" and was a bit off his meta. He's looked much better recently. It seems like the game isn't actually matching up to the agenda you're trying to push.

I think that turi/Darthe/krak/pral/tsb should be the lynch today. Let's wait to hear from tg first. Have hallisalami heal tg.

Posted

I'd like everyone to make it absolutely clear whether they'd like TG to be healed. Before the day ends.

Thank you.

Frankly, I am surprised you are claiming healer. Because I thought you were scum before this. The reaction on D1 for TG's character claim (food-based) was totally different from what I was expecting as a town character (8 hours of sleep)

No idea how to convince you then. I am good reader of people but a bad putting-those-reads-on-text kind of guy. That is why I have a hard time convincing people of my reads in every game.

I guess if I were you I'd be more suspicious of me leading a CFD on you "when I knew you wouldn't be around."

Right? No? Am I wrong?

Typically yes. But, as I said, I have seen you do that as town. You tried a last minute CFD in Woodstock too.

Posted

Csarmi I have a question. Since town is made up of things that help Cory and what not, isn't it odd that Cory doesn't believe you exist? It should be about how you've helped Cory not how he doesn't think you exist, correct?
