I'm trying not to get mad but I'm absolutely in the right in this argument and it's going to frustrate me if you won't admit that I'm right or will pretend you can't understand what I'm saying. What Des is epousing right now is pure nonsense and he reads exactly like shook scum to me. If he's town I've never seen him turtle this hard this fast; I'd expect him to fire back with bigger blows but instead he's throwing water balloons at me.

I was saying I agree with you but that I'm always super paranoid day 1. So, I'm not convinced of anything yet. You're pushing really hard for day 1 which always makes me weary. If des flips town it would look bad for you was my only point.

Part of why I'm going so HAM is:

1) I've never seen Des be this scummy before and respond so so badly to me, I remember in Hoof's game when I was town D1 and was pleading with Des to let me live he kept pushing me but he had conviction and reasoning behind it that was wrong but at least I read him as town despite him pushing me; here he has none of that convincing gusto and is just trying to throw dirt on me and hope people don't notice he has no argument and maneuvered very poorly through this argument

2) I am almost certainly going to be the N1 kill; not just because I play games hard and tend to get killed early for that reason, but now because I'm pushing Des who I believe will flip scum, so I need to go all-in while I can

3) I have a PR and can claim at any time to clear myself (this ties into the "I know I'm gonna die N1 so why the hell not" line of thinking) so I might be a little cockier than usual

 

So combine all that and yeah I feel pretty damn strong right now and have zero qualms with pushing someone I think is 99% likely to flip scum

I have very mixed feelings about this. The way Tommy is handling this game (and how he's handling Despo in particular is setting alarm bells off in my head.

 

Especially the "Despo, what is going with you?" sentence which is classic scum!Tommy tell in my book. Who soft pushed whom and who is the one asking fake questions is somewhat debatable too.

I can definitely see Tommy stay in reporter mode (see his early posts... Comments on actions like he's making a field report) and try to catch fish for his mislynch push.

 

I can see the little misrepresentations too he so very loves make as scum. I can see the "hmm that's scummy I know cause I do it as scum all the time myself" which is a tell I associate with scum!Tom.

 

So yea I can buy Tom being scum.

 

Problem is... His points on the other hand are mostly good and his game consistent and yes he does have a point in Despo whom I just don't like here at all.

 

So tldr: I dunno what to think.

I haven't done or said a single thing to make myself look bad or worse this game. I've been scumhunting from the very start.

 

I start EVERY game off aggressively yet some peeps were soft pushing me for it. That's bad. Understandable in Csarmi's case me be cause he hasn't played in a bit.

 

I might be wrong in some of my suspicions atm but none of my reads are really locked in so there's still time to figure out where I might be wrong.
