I don't think I've ever played with Corey before

But I appreciate the case on him and respect the three people voting him (all three don't tend to play very tight games)

However I really dislike RTes reveal and don't think his train will continue given the new momentum on Corey

This post is bad, bad, bad. Not only does he bandwagon here, but he eggs on the cory lynch, self consciously acknowledges his wagoning, tries to rationalize it, and then provides scumscuses for his eventual absence, as if anyone cares, followed by a promise to play a lot more.

 

It would be difficult to pen a post more conspicuous and oozing with awkwardness than this one.

 

We need to lynch Dap today, seriously. He's scum.

Cory *WAS* scummy. Like ten people egged on that lynch and he was baseless emotional town. I consider the red to be null in light of how many of us were pushing Cory. It likely did have some scum pushing it but that doesn't make it Dap.

 

I acknowledge that the Yellow is bad but it does fit with DAP's meta. He says that in almost every game because his big holdup is on train equality and analysis etc. Still, fairly a point against him.

 

Nobody that has played this long lies about IRL. That's a crap point and you know it. I am leaving for class. Is that a scumtastic excuse? No. Disappearing without reasoning is scummy. Stating you have crap to do is life. Same for the blue.

 

There is literally one thing in this entire post that may be pingworthy objectively and the rest of it is absolute bullshanks. If that's the best you have how the hell did this lynch train get five people? I'll tell you how: Scum motivated.

Mynd, there's no "gotcha" to trying to reason with other players. I don't know their alignment FOR SURE. It's possible they are town. They're blowing their credibility if so, but it's still possible.

 

Locking in scum reads is usually a bad idea, not a good one. Look what happened with Cory, seriously. Prime example. Won't be doing that again. I'm going by what's MOST LIKELY.

That is the answer I want.

 

Everyone has things that ping on them eventually.  You know this damn well.  Dap has 1 thing against him as opposed to many for him.  Hell, two members of my LOCK SCUM list are voting for him and you expect me to follow along with that?  If he was null I would be against that lynch based on that alone, he only has one member of my town list (which is HALF OF THE GAME LONG) on him.  That's terrible odds for him to be scum from my perspective, regardless of who he is.  I wouldn't vote someone on my slightly scum list with a pool of characters like that.  So, in partial answer to your question I have had my read on him reinforced by what is possibly the worst train I've seen in the past year.  

In addition to that the only case against him apparently is a single post by you which doesn't hold water as a scummy post.  I can think of a dozen things that you, Tsuki, RTE, Red, even Des have done that warrant a lynch more than that.  This train is really incredibly fabricated and there is no way that Town Tommy doesn't get that.  Additionally, the only two members of his train pushing him are my two biggest scum reads in the game and were before this lynch was a thing.  By the argument above I should naturally be voting one of you over him as town since I see you as scummy and him as not.  I've linked my reads list and the last VC below to make a marked point of this.

My next post will include where I found Dap to be town at in early game so that this one doesn't get to cluttered.

 

 

This is probably one of the worst mafia games that I have knowledge of in a long time on this site. And this has nothing at all to do with the game setup or the mod. So many whiney cry baby players.

If you can't handle it don't play. Seriously. I have finally accepted that DM players are not accommodating at all to new players and most mafia games, if read by someone wanting to try a mafia game out, would not look attractive to them at all. Once I thought that we had a different philosophy but this is what it is now I guess. So if you can't deal, then just watch. Mod shouldn't have to modkill and replace because of theatrics ON DAY 1 OF THE GAME. And this from veteran players...

 

 

I invited Mak to hydra with me so he could try playing with a new crowd and a different culture, one I had hoped was more mature. Instead, we're having emotional meltdowns and town-town suicide pacts based on NOTHING that escalated for NO REASON. I even told Cory I wouldn't have time to push him and his reaction was to turn around and call me lock scum and then purposefully bait me into killing myself? That's ridiculous, even if he was right. All he's done is detail D1 and I want to try and piece this game back together.
 

 

See these two posts?  Someone has a QT mentor.  Funny thing is (and I encourage you to go read it) this came out of nowhere from RTE.  We weren't even talking about it.

Cory called it scummy.  Strange that Tommy could get hooked on all of this but didn't have a good thing to say about the previous posts.  Even if you think RTE is town (nope) it was fantastic early game hunting.  

 

It is too long to quote but here is a link to post 457 where Dap does a catchup.  We are clearly on the same wavelength and he makes a lot of good points about several people.  Specifically I like how much he is checking across the board for different things and he is recognizing play that he doesn't like but also doesn't think is scummy.  That isn't something mafia generally do.  

 

That is everything I liked about Dap up to page 25.  I should point out that on 25 laya calls him out for the competing trains post, the first to do so I think and the only point against him thus far that I could find.  IMO that doesn't nearly warrant a lynch and, as I said before, i won't be joining a lynch on someone I think town with a bunch of people I don't think town.  

 

Should clear up any and all confusion on the matter, aye?
