I think we can safely lynch Despo at this point.  After last night's "vision", it was between Despo, Womby, and Dap.  I didn't get a mafia read per se, but at least one of them is not town.

That doesn't even make sense. If you are trying to distance, getting silenced isn't the best way. How is it perfect? It was clear Len was trying to push the dap train.

 

 

Lenlo was frozen because of saying Hastur three times.  I am sure of it.  I don't think Lenlo knew what to expect when he did it, let alone be frozen.  If Lenlo was pushing the Dap train, then that is one thing.  If he just casually voted him without much of a push, then I would call it distancing.

First page of the game and we have 3 people auto locking Villa. Granted these 3 people are also some of the weirdest but still. Just for record for later on those 3 people are Despot, Cory/Hallia and Wombat.

Now in the first post of the game is Cory proclaiming villager status and basically what looks to me like overselling himself and Hallia. Knowing Cory and how he is this isnt completely scummy for him, but its something to keep an eye on. Quote provided.

So we go afew pages with some jokes about sports and stuff, which is par for the course but its broken when RTE just pops in and claims Villager (4 on that list now, though he wasnt in the first wave with the other 3.) and Darthe immediatly starts going after RTE for this. This is abit fast imo, could be jumping on the first shot he could get. Vos on the next page follows Darthe on this, (mistakes Darthe for Des which is weird. Slip?) But he says the OP stuck out to him when the other 3 didnt. Wonder why. Cheap excuse to hop on RTE? Player also comes out with his first post and says RTE's OP was sticky yet doesnt vote nor does he say anything else about why it would be seen that way and that pings to me.

These two quotes one after the other on the bottom of pg 6 stuck out to me. They are basically saying the same thing, that its a weak defence, when I dont think RTEs post was a defence but a joke. The way they are using it though looks like they are trying to paint RTE as scummy and this pings me. ATM Vos and Player are my two biggest scum reads because of their push just for RTEs OP and yet one of them doesnt bother to vote them. Players quote in particular looks like a subtle push.

Dawn comes in and takes shots at Cory and Darthe, but then refutes herself saying if I think hes town hes prolly scum if I think hes scum hes prolly town and this is pretty classic waffling and I dont like it. So Ping. Also here on this page though was Tsuki coming in and making jokes which is odd. From what ive seen from Tsuki is hes generally much more into the game and pretty good at casing. Want more. Dawn continues to fight against Cory with, what are imo, subpar arguements. Leaning scummy on Dawn here.

Imo its crap. I find both Vos and Dap to be scummy, Dawn hasnt really done much which while that is par for her, shes been taking on Cory which isnt normal. I also dont think Quibly or Mynd have presented enough to get solid reads on them. As for the scum list I might be able to see Tsuki, as hes generally a much more focused player than this, but hes still not that scummy compared to Vos and Dap imo. Around here Mynd also pops in and basically makes a nonsense post and then votes Cory. Thats yuck and Ping worthy.

Next Des makes a BOSS WoT and while I dont agree with some of what hes selling, id say its still worth the price of admission. Not that I had a choice. Cause he didnt spoiler it. Punk. (Pg 11) I disagree with his vote on RTE on the next page though. An OP like that, especially from RTE, doesnt make him Scum. Its RTE, the dudes a walking magnet for votes. Des does preface his vote saying though that RTE is a pretty scummy villager which I agree with and that it might be better to remove the distraction. To me though RTE looks like an easy lynch to push and something that alot of people here could do without much effort.

Now Dap finally, FINALLY, votes RTE after the train gets DESPOT APPROVAL. This looks like jumping onto an easy lynch with someone who is not afraid to push it to the end of time. Its scummy, its pingy and I want it gone. Everything is just some playful banter.

To me, it seems like he was more than just simply voting Player.  He was gearing up for a big push then got frozen.  IF both Lenlo and Dap were scum, I don't think he would have put his vote on him and at the same time test the Mod like he did. 

 

 

Tsuki admits to being off focus and less interested since game began due to family that I don't normally get a chance to see are here.

 

Tsuki is scummy as hell by nature, and has never been vetted or cleared without a stupid amount of work - so, yeah, I howl. Bring it.

 

Tsuki was not targeting Dawn, anymore than I always do. Perhaps if she gets used to a little bit of early pressure (not even a case, just pressure (kinda like a joke vote, in my book)), she'll be less likely to bail, or to jump on this emotrain that I see is getting popular around DM... ugh. Sign up then threaten a quit before 36 hours are up - gross. But, whatever.

Lenlo made multiple soft pushes at both Cory and Darthe, yet had one listed as townish and one as null. 

Pushed Dawn for a few pings, listed her as mafia. 

He says Tsuki is joking which is odd, and wants more, but doesn't actually accuse him of anything at first.  Later waffles on Tsuki being scum from Darthe's reads list (which he insinuates are crap).

Soft push of Mynd, but lists as null.

Hard, hard, hard, HARD defense of RTE.  Yet again, only lists as null.

 

Strong pushes of both Dap and Vos.  Given this post, I'm not sure Lenlo would have been unable to back away if Dap's train got momentum.  From that, I'm think it's more likely a mislynch than a bus.

Well, I'm not 100% sold on you being town (you are a townread, for the record - just not 100% lock clear) so the bold isn't entirely relevant towards MY read on him, but I would agree with the premise as a whole - the mafia probably aren't going to lynch players who are townreading them, if they can avoid it, and I certainly wouldn't expect a mafia member to actively pursue removing a badreadingtownie.

 

That's partially why I'm content voting for Tsuki right now.  This was Darthe's first post following Tommy's flip.

I'm going Tsuki tomorrow unless something changes, Womby falls to very light green for me, Des/Vos/Dawn are still all lock clear IMO.  Time to do some reassessing.

 

The bold is by no means a lock, but it's fairly telling that Darthe was chosen for a nightkill D1.  He was one of the most verbal players towards EOD and made it perfectly clear who he was interested in.  If he was wrong in that regards, or his town reads were completely off base, what's the justification for taking him out?

Anyone who is 100% on me being town is likely scum themselves, so I would worry about you if you did. 

 

I'm fine with a Tsuki lynch.  Nyn had a town read on him, didn't she?  I gotta go back and case Nyn again.  We're in another game together and I have to make sure that I case Cthulu Nyn separately from the other Nyn. 

 

Keeping my vote on Despo for now though.  Let's see who votes where when more people show up.

Actually, she seemed up for a Tsuki lynch...but goes RTE.  

 

I'm not at a place where Tommy is my top candidate for a lynch. He started off not catching up properly before slinging accusations at Cory. Big no no. But he openly said that he wasn't caught up when he gave his reasoning for going after Cory. That he and Cory have some kind of juju where he can read him early on. Or so he claims. In any case, scumTommy would have fabricated something believable instead of openly saying "I'm voting Cory without even reading the thread, lulz". I know for a fact that Tommy is better than that as scum. He had me completely fooled in RW. This would be a huge underplay from his part if he's scum in this game.  Now, I don't necessarily agree with his reads, but I see genuine effort from his part to catch up and solve the game. His frustration seems legit. Does he think highly of himself? Yeah. But that's really a null tell alignment wise. He's a pompous a$$ and he knows it. 

 

 

I'm still up for a Tsuki lynch. He hasn't done anything to change my stance on him thus far.

This has to be one of the stupidest reasons I've seen you vote for me. And there's been many of them.

 

 

Then he reveals for no apparent reason. Says he's got a lot more info, though considering he's claiming to be VT and it's D1, not sure what he could be referring to. He also gets a bit defensive, IMO. 

 

1 post arguing what's wrong about his reveal. I kinda agree, though, that it's a null tell. Yates revealed with zero pressure on RW and turned out being a VT. So it doesn't translate to a scum tell, necessarily. Plus he's tied down to that claim now.

I for one have no real problem with RTE's opening post. I've played with RTE before and I know he comes off scummy more often than not, so that's why I looked into him with care. With that said, I don't recall him ever being on the offensive... as he's coming across in this game so far. Aside from maybe Vos, He seems to have gone hard against people who FOSed/Voted him to the point of unnecessary mockery. Not to say I don't appreciate a bit of sarcasm, but his agitation and prickliness seems rather misplaced most of the time. It almost seems like him trying to fake townie frustration. It doesn't suit him at all, though. He's not one to get rattled so this is really sticking out to me. I'm also not liking him defending Dawn, then attacking her, then attacking someone who is criticizing him over attacking her lol  Every time someone brings up his OP he jumps at their throat. Every time someone suggest he's lurking, he jumps at their throat. It's not so much that he's choosing to respond to these things, which is legitimate. But more so the tone of his posts. I would have expected him to be cool and laid back, not jumpy, nervous and agitated.
