Nah, not really. I've been skimming along earlier but I have no grasp on what's been going on. I remember the claims (I think) and that there was no lynch (not even close).

 

@Leelou - yup I know what you claimed (Gawyn, Vanilla Town, under pressure). My question to Thane was about why he's singling out you "claiming town" (which is null) instead of giving reasons or circumstances or anything I mentioned above.

 

I think Thane has a very strange way of handling claims (or at least wording it).

i know i'm one of the hardest people to read, i will try to improve the wat to express myself, if that would help. It all makes sense in my head, but i have to convince you, not me.... 

 

@Len: i tried for a read, but got no result. Which is unfortunate for town, and scum more or less has me confirmed as cop... As for my TG comments: the read i got from him was being town, and i it's a loss for town to have lost him already 

 

@Darthe - considering that I couldn't read the thread yet, I have no reads yet.

There's not a huge amount of pages, D2 and we're on page23.... this game reads quite easily. I'm not buying it, nor your townclaim for the moment.

Pg 1 Jokey stuffs, TG and his upside down BM. Darthe and me throw some love (votes) at each other.

 

pg 2 Mynd comes in and pushes Verb for voting me because its "a-typical" for someone to throw a second vote on someone so early. This is an odd and poor reason to push someone imo even if it is D1 Pg2. FOS Mynd.

 

Pg 3 Only real stuff is Krak votes Verb for no reason and Dawn comes in with a very suspicous "Dont vote me!" post.

 

pg 4 Got some stuff going. Mynd wants answers from Krak for his vote and he gets a shoddy one, Des calls me scum despite my charm and votes me . Says my wording is awkward scum trying to pass off as town. Feel like hes scumhunting, just up the wrong tree.

 

pg 5-6 Jokes, like the tone and some posts make me feel better about Krak. 

 

pg 7Verb and Tina are back into it and playing the game now. I like this but Tina's post has to many soft questions and doesnt really say anything imo. Krak also picks up on this which is a point to him. Csarmi asks if he can vote but doesnt and this just doesnt sit right with me.

 

pg 8-9 TG is voting Leels cause of her early verb def but I dont see that as that bad, atleast not compared to what others have done. Krak calls TG out on this just as I would have so im liking Krak alot so far. Mynd follows up with Krak agreeing that Tinas post was bleh, but then turns around and goes after Leelou instead. Granted his reasons were much better than TGs. Leelous defense of herself saying Dawn has an obsession is pretty weak at this point and is causing me to rethink my position on Mynd.

 

pg 10 Leelou trys to take the fight to Mynd, poking him about his defense of Dawn but I dont see it that way. Hes not defending her hes attacking Leelou and this attempt to shift the discussion is noted. Bob and Dawn take cheap shot votes at Leelou. I feel like Dawn is just echo chambering Mynd and trying to jump on. Could be distancing, or Leelou could be town but I dont think down is town atm. Darhte also returns and I agree with him on Mynd and Des loking very town, disagree about his read on Hallia. I liked that post.

 

pg 11-12 Darthe takes shots at Dawn. Hurtful but not gameplay. Leelous reads are surprisingly in line with my own on pg 12, aside from herself and Thane. Dunno what this means. Tina swaps to TG around here as well, someone we now know to be town. The post in itself looks forced and like shes shifting things to fit her narrative.

 

pg 13 Leelou says her train has built fast but I disagree, it was a steady pace and alot of people had decent reasoning behind them. TG trys to make a Thane CFD and for some reason im not against this. Like... Im not for it and wont be pushing it, but I dont feel any problems with the thought of it. 

 

pg 15-16 Thane unvotes for a character claim, which is really weak, and he cant even give a top 3 scum or town meaning his reads are weak imo. This would be a good place to start and not just because hes the new BH. Dice also goes with the Thane CFD. Despo also goes with the thane thing. Thane also claims COP which is... surprising.

 

pg 17 We ended up with a no lynch because we failed to reach consensus, but I feel this is an alright end to the day. We got some good info, Thane is virtually cleared and we will have something to start with on D2.

 

pg 18 I disagree with Leelou. I can see Tina as scum but not Darthe or Mynd. I could go for Dice as he hasnt done to much real stuff this game (Like I can talk.) and I still feel bad about Csarmi.

 

pg 19-20 JOKES! And TG dies. Mynd goes for me which is understandable, though apparnetly he was gunning for reactions than anything else. Still not feleing good about CS. Thane doesnt look good here as apparently he didnt get a result last night and then posits some wifomy questions about TG.

I apologize for my absense yet again. I hope this is the last time. I thought my tough days had ended but aparently I was wrong. I must admit that I didn´t remember much at all about this game. My memory is really bad. I re-read from my last posts though. 

 

Thane - claimed cop. Did we get a character claim as well? Thane - in #398 you say that you figured that TG was town. I went back to look and the last thing you said about TG in #323 was that he was worth looking into because of the CFD. Those comments doesn´t really match.

 

Leelou - claimed Gawyn, vanilla.

 

 

My town reads are Krak and NotBob. Both were active around the deadline. Thane was as well. I don´t know what to think about him yet though. Mynd started weird yesterday but I think he is trying to scum hunt so I would say town for now. I agree with Verb about Lenlo.

 

Leelou claimed Gawyn, vanilla. I´m not sure she would fake claim a vanilla.

As for scum reads, still don't like Lenlo this game. Call it a tone read, but his silliness looked forced to me, and the way he both distanced from a TG train while subtly setting it up at the same time was one of the scummiest things to happen ITT so far.

I have four main things to say now that I am back.

 

1) Leelou reeks.  She brought up my name a ton and kept trying to bounce scenarios off of it and she is flapping about tying things together as much as possible.  Her play here looks like damage control though I have no idea why she would start that this quickly and I don't know what it's for.

2) Hally's post about Dawn didn't make much sense to me.  It feels weird.

3) I actually agreed with Des...  What is going on here?

4) Mynd, TG and Des look awesomely town.  TG so much that after 212 I was almost embarrassed to post this.

Bolded looked mega-significant to me. Wasn't really enough to make Mynd look town yet by that point, and considering TG's flip, me knowing I'm town, and how Darthe looks in general this game..... yeah looks to me like Darthe trying to slip his scumbuddy Mynd in with two other townies.

 

That's a hard character claim to fight but I don't trust character claims in Womby games and would think less of you all if you did.  TG or Verb, can you show me what is townie about her posts in the last two pages?  The reads list was essentially "Look at all of these other people you could be voting" and she just CFD'd onto Thane for ???.  I don't see the switch and I haven't paid any attention to Thane thus far tbh.  I will note that I think that if Leelou is town Verb is scum for his interactions with her the last two pages.  Those two don't usually have this sort of shifting stance with one another and it's highly relevant to both of their metas.

Nothing in this thread has really captivated me so far. I suppose my lackluster reads are better than driving wrong reads down everyones throat but its not as inspiring.

I still think mynd looks good here despite the critiques ive seen of him and I want to know where des is. He is too big a voice to be so quiet, des is the mood of the game throwing you or are you busy or ???

In any case I noticed something that hints (imo) at leelou being scum, maybe with verb. Together they totally stalled out EoD, her with promise of something to be delivered from a tb lynched standpoint and him from using his towncred to hold others back and wait for what she had to say without pushing a different angle adequately. I dont think a no lynch was preferred over lynching someone else but it looks to me like scum didnt have another direction to take the day and so chose to let it flounder.

Generally pretty awful reads here Lenlo. Leelou is now obvtown, and Thane is not playing well but is still town and cop it looks like. Meanwhile you have Mynd and Darthe as town... even tho both have scummily pushed at Verb who you have as town.

 

This is a big part of why I'm still suspecting you. Verbal gives you too much slack for the summary part imo.

You know, if I was mafia and wanted to get a claimed cop lynched I think this is how I'd do it.  Really, it's a good effort.  I would RB them constantly (if I had the choice) and each day when they had zilch I would badger them about being a bad cop.  After a while I'd start sliding in little one liners like "if you even are the cop", "I really hope you faked it though" etc.

I also would like to have known if TG protected someone last night.  I have an idea who that person is based on my latest read through.  That person also would have made a very likely target for the mafia based on that person's posts.  I think the mafia did not expect TG to go down instead. 

 

I'm on the road today.  One of my many cousins is getting married.  To someone with the last name Frey.  Should be a rather boring wedding.  I'll not be able to post until the late evenings for the next couple days, but I should be able to catch up by Thursday night EST or Friday morning.

1.  Thane - claims cop.  Not buying it 100% based on other things I have read, but he will be undone eventually if he is a LLL.  Ask him for his reads each day.

3.  Hallia - I really don't like her swooping in to defend Leelou's weak case against Dawn.  REEKS of scum.

4.  Dice - Dice? appearing only active when everyone else is asleep?  It's as if he lives in a different hemisphere as most of us. Total SCUM!!! /sarcasm 

5.  Leelou - (see above)  Take away the Gawyn (VT) claim and she reeks of scum and onions.  At worst, her lynch would give us a lot of info.  At best? SCUM!

6.  Verbal - I saw that! Don't think I didn't! 

7.  NotBob - I think his intuition is telling him the same things that mine is telling me.  Scarlett Johannson looks awesome naked.  Oh yeah, and Hally/Leelou are scum.

8.  Dawn Csarmi - My read on Dawn was town to begin with.  Csarmi is acting like someone who took over a town role and is scumhunting.  Which he is.

9.  Despo  - I need to case this guy on my next read through.  A couple things caught my eye regarding his votes and the reasons behind them.  Watching him close now.

10.  Mynd - TOTAL SCUM!

11.  Darthe - my most neutral read.  Not null but that I could go either way with him right now.  Scumhunting and making the same points I was thinking about. Lean town.

12.  TG, Lan Mandragoran, Town Bodyguard, killed N1 - I also would like to know if he protected last night and if so, who.  

13.  Tina: - meh.

14.  Krak - He's being Krak.

I apologize for my absense yet again. I hope this is the last time. I thought my tough days had ended but aparently I was wrong. I must admit that I didn´t remember much at all about this game. My memory is really bad. I re-read from my last posts though. 

 

Thane - claimed cop. Did we get a character claim as well? Thane - in #398 you say that you figured that TG was town. I went back to look and the last thing you said about TG in #323 was that he was worth looking into because of the CFD. Those comments doesn´t really match.

 

Leelou - claimed Gawyn, vanilla.

 

 

My town reads are Krak and NotBob. Both were active around the deadline. Thane was as well. I don´t know what to think about him yet though. Mynd started weird yesterday but I think he is trying to scum hunt so I would say town for now. I agree with Verb about Lenlo.

As for scum reads, still don't like Lenlo this game. Call it a tone read, but his silliness looked forced to me, and the way he both distanced from a TG train while subtly setting it up at the same time was one of the scummiest things to happen ITT so far.

Pg 1 Jokey stuffs, TG and his upside down BM. Darthe and me throw some love (votes) at each other.

 

pg 2 Mynd comes in and pushes Verb for voting me because its "a-typical" for someone to throw a second vote on someone so early. This is an odd and poor reason to push someone imo even if it is D1 Pg2. FOS Mynd.

 

Pg 3 Only real stuff is Krak votes Verb for no reason and Dawn comes in with a very suspicous "Dont vote me!" post.

 

pg 4 Got some stuff going. Mynd wants answers from Krak for his vote and he gets a shoddy one, Des calls me scum despite my charm and votes me . Says my wording is awkward scum trying to pass off as town. Feel like hes scumhunting, just up the wrong tree.

 

pg 5-6 Jokes, like the tone and some posts make me feel better about Krak. 

 

pg 7Verb and Tina are back into it and playing the game now. I like this but Tina's post has to many soft questions and doesnt really say anything imo. Krak also picks up on this which is a point to him. Csarmi asks if he can vote but doesnt and this just doesnt sit right with me.

 

pg 8-9 TG is voting Leels cause of her early verb def but I dont see that as that bad, atleast not compared to what others have done. Krak calls TG out on this just as I would have so im liking Krak alot so far. Mynd follows up with Krak agreeing that Tinas post was bleh, but then turns around and goes after Leelou instead. Granted his reasons were much better than TGs. Leelous defense of herself saying Dawn has an obsession is pretty weak at this point and is causing me to rethink my position on Mynd.

 

pg 10 Leelou trys to take the fight to Mynd, poking him about his defense of Dawn but I dont see it that way. Hes not defending her hes attacking Leelou and this attempt to shift the discussion is noted. Bob and Dawn take cheap shot votes at Leelou. I feel like Dawn is just echo chambering Mynd and trying to jump on. Could be distancing, or Leelou could be town but I dont think down is town atm. Darhte also returns and I agree with him on Mynd and Des loking very town, disagree about his read on Hallia. I liked that post.

 

pg 11-12 Darthe takes shots at Dawn. Hurtful but not gameplay. Leelous reads are surprisingly in line with my own on pg 12, aside from herself and Thane. Dunno what this means. Tina swaps to TG around here as well, someone we now know to be town. The post in itself looks forced and like shes shifting things to fit her narrative.

 

pg 13 Leelou says her train has built fast but I disagree, it was a steady pace and alot of people had decent reasoning behind them. TG trys to make a Thane CFD and for some reason im not against this. Like... Im not for it and wont be pushing it, but I dont feel any problems with the thought of it. 

 

pg 15-16 Thane unvotes for a character claim, which is really weak, and he cant even give a top 3 scum or town meaning his reads are weak imo. This would be a good place to start and not just because hes the new BH. Dice also goes with the Thane CFD. Despo also goes with the thane thing. Thane also claims COP which is... surprising.

 

pg 17 We ended up with a no lynch because we failed to reach consensus, but I feel this is an alright end to the day. We got some good info, Thane is virtually cleared and we will have something to start with on D2.

 

pg 18 I disagree with Leelou. I can see Tina as scum but not Darthe or Mynd. I could go for Dice as he hasnt done to much real stuff this game (Like I can talk.) and I still feel bad about Csarmi.

Oh I see the confusion, thats my fault. I knew you had replaced in so everytime I was going to write Dawn, I instead wrote Csarmi. Take it to mean that slot. Dawn left me with bad feelings when she replaced out and I still had those feelings later on which is why on Pg 18 I mention having a bad feeling from you.

 

So yeah Csarmi = Dawn in that basically, as you replaced in for the slot.

 

Kinda hard for me to buy this. Would have required a strange mental leap in Lenlo's head, thinking and observing Dawn but typing Csarmi.... hard to believe.

Sorry I've been gone all.  I've not been well the past couple of days.

 

I have four main things to say now that I am back.

 

1) Leelou reeks.  She brought up my name a ton and kept trying to bounce scenarios off of it and she is flapping about tying things together as much as possible.  Her play here looks like damage control though I have no idea why she would start that this quickly and I don't know what it's for.

2) Hally's post about Dawn didn't make much sense to me.  It feels weird.

3) I actually agreed with Des...  What is going on here?

4) Mynd, TG and Des look awesomely town.  TG so much that after 212 I was almost embarrassed to post this.

Bolded looked mega-significant to me. Wasn't really enough to make Mynd look town yet by that point, and considering TG's flip, me knowing I'm town, and how Darthe looks in general this game..... yeah looks to me like Darthe trying to slip his scumbuddy Mynd in with two other townies.

 

That's a hard character claim to fight but I don't trust character claims in Womby games and would think less of you all if you did.  TG or Verb, can you show me what is townie about her posts in the last two pages?  The reads list was essentially "Look at all of these other people you could be voting" and she just CFD'd onto Thane for ???.  I don't see the switch and I haven't paid any attention to Thane thus far tbh.  I will note that I think that if Leelou is town Verb is scum for his interactions with her the last two pages.  Those two don't usually have this sort of shifting stance with one another and it's highly relevant to both of their metas.

Nothing in this thread has really captivated me so far. I suppose my lackluster reads are better than driving wrong reads down everyones throat but its not as inspiring.

 

I still think mynd looks good here despite the critiques ive seen of him and I want to know where des is. He is too big a voice to be so quiet, des is the mood of the game throwing you or are you busy or ???

 

In any case I noticed something that hints (imo) at leelou being scum, maybe with verb. Together they totally stalled out EoD, her with promise of something to be delivered from a tb lynched standpoint and him from using his towncred to hold others back and wait for what she had to say without pushing a different angle adequately. I dont think a no lynch was preferred over lynching someone else but it looks to me like scum didnt have another direction to take the day and so chose to let it flounder.

Let's go through these since they are brief (thank you for that btw).  Des, it seems that in the absence of logical ways to progress you've fallen back on your old habit of painting a canvas before you know what the scene looks like.  

 

I've taken the liberty of acknowledging responses to my quotes below here, each numbered correspondingly.  

 

1) I thought it clear enough that that was a joke, to the point that I never even bothered to respond to verb like I would have if it was serious.  It even has text based stuttering in it, how much clearer could one be that my initial statements weren't serious?  Actually... this much.

 

2 and 3) They are right beside one another so it's easy enough to link them.  I didn't see anything serious in an area that I wasn't being serious in and I even go on to say that Len is null for how jokey he is being, thus implying that I understood that his post was a joke and anyone logical could follow that out and easily recognize that I responded in kind.  As I said before, actually you said it too when you said you were going to assume me scum before you began all of this, you're assuming my alignment before reading my posts.  Sadly par for the course of late but it's in the way right now.  

 

4) This fairly seals the deal.  Honestly Des I don't know how you expect to have credibility in games when you think with this level of bias.  You state here that clearly Mynd and I are scum because you aren't and since I am (according to your logic) I must have put a teammate on the list with two townies.  You even linked it to a dead townie to try and show "proof" of your rhetoric.  The problem being, of course, that I am town and that's a legitimate reads list.  However, even to a group that doesn't know my alignment it is clear that you can't "know" it unless you are scum making this whole blathering point a farce and a push on me without reasoning to back it up.

 

5) Every single claim in the game is to be treated as such.  You argue against me cutting corners here by going directly to the strength of the claim when you do the exact same thing below by bringing up that Thanes' reads matching with yours makes him clearly the cop.  Implicit in that is that you didn't trust his claim enough, despite the strength associated with a cop claim or a name claim, to warrant following it solely on its' merit.  Yet you try to use that argument as a point against me?  This is why people should actually read your WoT's instead of the drivel that you spout outside of them.  When you begin to show your thought process it can be quickly seen that you have either entirely flawed logic or have ulterior motives.  Between the last two points Des is now middling for me.

@Len: i know what you mean. I'm trying to back my claim up. I will try to get reads every single night. Good thing about that would be that, should they block me every night, other town PR's could do their work. If there are any other out there besides doc. Should they not block or kill me, i can at least clear someone. It's annoying, i don't like the situation, but i can't change it.

For the point of it it's a bad idea to rely on other PR's.  We don't know if we have any (though I anticipate one more) and we don't know what they do.  Don't bet on not being blocked though.  You're outted and scum doesn't need to do more with you unless your reads become a threat.

Verb, you are not usually this active on D1.  You typically like to sit back.  I don't like your vote on Lenlo after Darthe had already voted.  Most first day voters try to avoid voting up behind someone unless they have more than a casual reason.

As for scum reads, still don't like Lenlo this game. Call it a tone read, but his silliness looked forced to me, and the way he both distanced from a TG train while subtly setting it up at the same time was one of the scummiest things to happen ITT so far.

Sorry I've been gone all.  I've not been well the past couple of days.

 

I have four main things to say now that I am back.

 

1) Leelou reeks.  She brought up my name a ton and kept trying to bounce scenarios off of it and she is flapping about tying things together as much as possible.  Her play here looks like damage control though I have no idea why she would start that this quickly and I don't know what it's for.

2) Hally's post about Dawn didn't make much sense to me.  It feels weird.

3) I actually agreed with Des...  What is going on here?

4) Mynd, TG and Des look awesomely town.  TG so much that after 212 I was almost embarrassed to post this.

Bolded looked mega-significant to me. Wasn't really enough to make Mynd look town yet by that point, and considering TG's flip, me knowing I'm town, and how Darthe looks in general this game..... yeah looks to me like Darthe trying to slip his scumbuddy Mynd in with two other townies.

 

That's a hard character claim to fight but I don't trust character claims in Womby games and would think less of you all if you did.  TG or Verb, can you show me what is townie about her posts in the last two pages?  The reads list was essentially "Look at all of these other people you could be voting" and she just CFD'd onto Thane for ???.  I don't see the switch and I haven't paid any attention to Thane thus far tbh.  I will note that I think that if Leelou is town Verb is scum for his interactions with her the last two pages.  Those two don't usually have this sort of shifting stance with one another and it's highly relevant to both of their metas.

Leelou claimed, so we'll see if the claim is actually true (i find it a bit early to claim D1, but i understand that her train got close to lynch). Town for her. Also, TG as town: playing around, poking left and right, trying to get reads. Dawn seems relaxed, so i'll pile her as likely town as well. Need to make up my mind about the rest. For what it's worth, I think Leelou is the better target in this game.  The fact that we didn't get a majority tells me we are onto something.

Nothing in this thread has really captivated me so far. I suppose my lackluster reads are better than driving wrong reads down everyones throat but its not as inspiring.

 

I still think mynd looks good here despite the critiques ive seen of him and I want to know where des is. He is too big a voice to be so quiet, des is the mood of the game throwing you or are you busy or ???

 

In any case I noticed something that hints (imo) at leelou being scum, maybe with verb. Together they totally stalled out EoD, her with promise of something to be delivered from a tb lynched standpoint and him from using his towncred to hold others back and wait for what she had to say without pushing a different angle adequately. I dont think a no lynch was preferred over lynching someone else but it looks to me like scum didnt have another direction to take the day and so chose to let it flounder.

Let's go through these since they are brief (thank you for that btw).  Des, it seems that in the absence of logical ways to progress you've fallen back on your old habit of painting a canvas before you know what the scene looks like.  

 

I've taken the liberty of acknowledging responses to my quotes below here, each numbered correspondingly.  

 

1) I thought it clear enough that that was a joke, to the point that I never even bothered to respond to verb like I would have if it was serious.  It even has text based stuttering in it, how much clearer could one be that my initial statements weren't serious?  Actually... this much.

 

2 and 3) They are right beside one another so it's easy enough to link them.  I didn't see anything serious in an area that I wasn't being serious in and I even go on to say that Len is null for how jokey he is being, thus implying that I understood that his post was a joke and anyone logical could follow that out and easily recognize that I responded in kind.  As I said before, actually you said it too when you said you were going to assume me scum before you began all of this, you're assuming my alignment before reading my posts.  Sadly par for the course of late but it's in the way right now.  

 

4) This fairly seals the deal.  Honestly Des I don't know how you expect to have credibility in games when you think with this level of bias.  You state here that clearly Mynd and I are scum because you aren't and since I am (according to your logic) I must have put a teammate on the list with two townies.  You even linked it to a dead townie to try and show "proof" of your rhetoric.  The problem being, of course, that I am town and that's a legitimate reads list.  However, even to a group that doesn't know my alignment it is clear that you can't "know" it unless you are scum making this whole blathering point a farce and a push on me without reasoning to back it up.

 

5) Every single claim in the game is to be treated as such.  You argue against me cutting corners here by going directly to the strength of the claim when you do the exact same thing below by bringing up that Thanes' reads matching with yours makes him clearly the cop.  Implicit in that is that you didn't trust his claim enough, despite the strength associated with a cop claim or a name claim, to warrant following it solely on its' merit.  Yet you try to use that argument as a point against me?  This is why people should actually read your WoT's instead of the drivel that you spout outside of them.  When you begin to show your thought process it can be quickly seen that you have either entirely flawed logic or have ulterior motives.  Between the last two points Des is now middling for me.
