Winternight festivities were well underway when they came.  Huge beasts that walked like men but looked like grotesque, oversized animals.  Trollocs.  And with them, a Halfman.  At first, people thought Master al'Vere's guests had had too much to drink when they heard them shouting warnings.  After all, Trollocs were just fairy tales.  Not so.  They came into Emond's Field and struck at the forge, and Abell Cauthon's place.  The townsfolk ran around in panic until Lan rallied them.  Moiraine called ball lighting out of the clear sky and sent it screaming after the beasts.

Lan was deep in the void when he came face to face with the Halfman.  Lan went into all-out attack.  He couldn't give the Halfman time to strike him with that Thakan'dar forged blade.  Lightning of Three Prongs sent blue sparks up as the Halfman parried his blows.  Probably some kind of plasma discharge, a thought floated across the void.  Lan had no time to focus on it.  He moved into Water Flows Downhill (well of course, the weight of the water itself would create an irresistible pressure gradient) and then into Stone Falls from the Mountain (almost certainly enough height to reach terminal velocity if unobstructed).  The Halfman responded with Cutting the Clouds and caught Lan off-guard, severing Lan's hand as he was still idly pondering the best way to rapidly dilute a liquid aerosol.  Apparently he wasn't that deep in the void after all.  Not that a true void ever really exists given the uncertainty principle, Lan thought as the Myrddraal's blade plunged into his chest.  And then, he was no more.

I feel pretty oh so pretty

Nothing in this thread has really captivated me so far. I suppose my lackluster reads are better than driving wrong reads down everyones throat but its not as inspiring.

I still think mynd looks good here despite the critiques ive seen of him and I want to know where des is. He is too big a voice to be so quiet, des is the mood of the game throwing you or are you busy or ???

In any case I noticed something that hints (imo) at leelou being scum, maybe with verb. Together they totally stalled out EoD, her with promise of something to be delivered from a tb lynched standpoint and him from using his towncred to hold others back and wait for what she had to say without pushing a different angle adequately. I dont think a no lynch was preferred over lynching someone else but it looks to me like scum didnt have another direction to take the day and so chose to let it flounder.

That last paragraph actually isn't that bad of a conclusion.  I'd probably come to the same thing if I was scum.

i don't see how fake claiming cop would help me. It would bite me in the ass eventually. So, from my point of view, i have no reason to lie about it. I am town cop, so... yeah... need to find scum to improve my chances for succesfull nightly investigations.
