At least she is reacting better than how CSarmi used to get cray about his name.

 

I've been here for 7 years, not really sure where the influx of confusion is coming in with my name lately.

Its us newbies fault ofc. Us and our penchant for renaming or shortening thing. Not all things ofc, but some things.

Meh, I was just trying something new.  Can't get stuck as a creature of habit now can we?

 

Lenlo, on the other hand, obviously had nefarious plots and schemes surrounding his "confusion" of your name.  Nefarious I say!

Any response to the votes on you?  Any further thoughts on the game so far?  How about a top and bottom 3 list on who you think is scum/town?

That's a hard character claim to fight but I don't trust character claims in Womby games and would think less of you all if you did.  TG or Verb, can you show me what is townie about her posts in the last two pages?  The reads list was essentially "Look at all of these other people you could be voting" and she just CFD'd onto Thane for ???.  I don't see the switch and I haven't paid any attention to Thane thus far tbh.  I will note that I think that if Leelou is town Verb is scum for his interactions with her the last two pages.  Those two don't usually have this sort of shifting stance with one another and it's highly relevant to both of their metas.

 

@Mind, STFU Dawny sounds hilarious.  

 

 

 

Terrible is a harsh word but Hally is being polite. Intelligence doesnt ewuate to aptitude and dawn tends to be apathetic which makes her inconsistent and inactive. Do you know how difficult it is to work with a preteen who has no experience and only a cursory understanding of the discussions at hand? Its why I fuss at her. Wasted ability and worse still wasted player slot.

My sincerest apologies Slayer of Bananas.  I hope you don't take my consistent ragging as me not liking you btw, I just want so much more from you than you give to these games.  After a few games of it I got tired of being positive in the hopes that you would pick up.

 

First Bold:  the annoyance seeping through.  Scum-Leelou shows more condescension, while Town-Leelou shows more genuine annoyance.  And another small thing that I'm likely gaming the mod on, which is a badbadbadbadbad idea but is happening to me whether I want to or not.  I can share this if you'd like.

 

Second Bold:  you're insane.  We shift on each other when we are both town - check out a few games ago when I hard cleared her after casing her.....and she flipped town via NK that night....and I was also town.

just checking in quickly after coming in from work (with no DM access)

 

I don't mind a fire drill: been a firefighter for 10 years, was sergeant when i left, so i think i can handle a bit of heat from that. Not too worried about the votes on me. 

 

Can't really give a top 3 of scum/town, but i'll try: Players seeming off to me are Mynd and Darthe, so a scumlean there. Leelou claimed, so we'll see if the claim is actually true (i find it a bit early to claim D1, but i understand that her train got close to lynch). Town for her. Also, TG as town: playing around, poking left and right, trying to get reads. Dawn seems relaxed, so i'll pile her as likely town as well. Need to make up my mind about the rest. And, oh yeah, i'm town too.

That....and in my haste to post, didn't catch Darthe's second vote.   But yeah, a TEST!  And she bombed it!

 

Also, I wouldn't be so quick to un-vote Leelou and throw her in TownieLand just yet.  Gawyn would be a decent safe fake claim for scum, would it not?  It would be a different thing if she claimed to be Rand al'Bloody Thor, but Gawyn not so much.

 

If she wasn't already deep on my scum list, I'd have her in the "not likely scum" side of town, but she's been wretched this game.

For instance, TG's flip on her didn't seem genuine to me. Said her tone changed completely, I didn't see that personally. And now he's acting like she's def town. Furthermore, he's trying to lead, and I see a fake scumhunting alert with him asking Thane for his top three. He also had some scummy tone, like when he said he didn't "like" Tina's narrative. In fact, I see plenty enough for me to [v]TG[/v]

 

Darthe is also starting to ping, his reaction to Leelou's character claim looked odd (said it was a "hard character claim to fight" which is bizarre from a town perspective, and at the same time that we shouldn't put much stock in character claims in a Wombat game. Why remark on the "strength" of the character claim in the first place then?), and I REALLY don't like how he's trying to set Verb up for a lynch should Leelou turn out to be town, looks like TMI to me.

 

Still GMEO Hallia and a couple of others.

 

I am proud to say tho that I can firmly put Verb and BobNot into my town pile. So as of now I'm starting with a LOCK CLEAR core of myself, Krak, Verb, and NotBob. Not too shabby of a group so far.

I still don't think in this case her "claim" immediately makes her town.  If she claimed Rand al'Thor, that would be different.  She didn't.

I never put much stock in character claims, regardless of who the mod is. The VT claim doesn't "make" her town, but it makes her less likely to be scum. Claiming VT, on D1, as the leading train, with less than 24 hours before deadline, is an extremely poor method to try and prevent your lynch.

Yeah, but a scum with the lead D1 lynch has nothing to lose.   If I wasn't 85% convinced of Leelou's scumminess prior to her claim, I would have bought it easier.  Also, the fact that we haven't gotten a hammer this close to deadline leads me to believe that she likely is scum and her scummies are stalling. 

 

Of course, to be devils advocate.......if she is scum, she should have claimed a power role to see who countered.  At least she could help her scummies out a power role on D1. 

 

...and maybe the mafia know she is town so they are not dogpiling to stay off a lynch that they know will flip town. 

 

I see my tail, Im gonna go chase it for a while!
