ive always found the uk covers a bit boring. These new ones too.

An edition for adults.

By the way, these new covers reminds me of Babybird:

"Because you're gorgeous

I'd do anything for you

Because you're gorgeous

I know you'll get me through"

Meh, they're just kind of boring looking. If you're self conscious about being seen reading a book with a merry band of adventurers on the front, just take the dust jacket off your hardcover and boom - mature, respectable-looking reading material.

Lol I'm not self concious about that. First off, I buy paperbacks only. But I really don't like the art on the original American ones. I was hoping they'd release a set after AMOL came with all paperbacks with the e-book covers, but doesn't look like it.

I also appreciate anything that is well designed, and these are very well designed. Good typography, great use of colour, and I love the use of the dragon&wheel-symbol. Especially the colour on the first three, last three and New Spring is so great match with each book. Awesome.

wotfan4472, I'm sure if you email Ta'Veren tees with this link, they'll at least consider making some matching t-shirts :) Great idea.

Wow.  So underwhelming.  Why not go for the French editions?  Just kidding.  Nicer than the old ones, but still falling well short.  I'd like to see the ebook covers in print, they are actually decent, but I'm too much a fan of the originals, even the bad ones like ACoS where Rand looks like the guy off Karate Kid (original) wearing his Cobra-Kai Dojo getup.

Our book club will order 17 copies of TEOTW. (Everyone loves these new covers but many of us will not re-buy the whole series again and again.)

UK covers (== adult edition) were/are better than the US covers (== juvenile/YA, even the new ones). They are not perfect at all, but these new covers have such a refined look.

poster prices would depend on at least these things::

-length & width

-paper type

-medium type (paint/watercolor/oil-pastel/etc)

-lamination type (if it is laminated)

-frame type (if it is framed)

There are too many cover options. I love these UK ones, so sleek. But, the ebook Barnes & Noble ones are beautiful. My local store refuses to carry all of them ever though. They have like four, seven, eight, and eleven. >.<

.

Just order them online like I did. Not only do you get them CHEAPER, but if you order two at a time, you also get FREE freight. I now have the first five, and they are absolutely gorgeous. And better yet, you can lay them on your lap, and put your hands behind your head while reading them, and not have your thumbs go numb trying to hold them open like those blasted little paperbacks.
