^That.

Is it expensive to get around within the US? Comparing to, like, flying over from Europe or something? Because I get that the distances there within the country are crazy -- it's just difficult to fully imagine.

Okay so this was a mind blowing experience. Cindy and I went to get a few books signed by Brandon. She brought AMoL and he signed the page that she appears on in the book. I didn't bring anything to get signed, but had planned all along to look for the third Mistborn book in the dealers room to go with the first two that he signed last year. When I found it, on impulse I also picked up a copy of Way of Kings. Neither one of them was priced specially. When Brandon turns to the title page of WoK, he and I are both surprised to see that he has already signed it! I wound up chatting with Ben McSweeney that did the illustrations and offers to sign it. And he has also already signed it right below Brandon! I bought a signed book unawares, which isn't the first time for me. But what are the odds of buying a signed book and taking it to be signed by not one but TWO people who have already signed it?

Ben wound up making a very cool drawing opposite the title page. Cindy has pics of it somewhere. He said this was the first time in signing books that he had an autographed copy come back to him. I'm just stunned by this.
