So, game time.

12 players. 9 Weasleys, 3 Malfoys. We start at a night without night actions. Rules in the next post. Roles and characters will be sent out this evening (starting in about 5 hours), but day 1 won't start till Friday noon. So no voting before that :)

Teaser 1: Arthur Weasley

Work, work, work. It wasn't Arthurs best day. Two muggles had been teaching their baby words, and somehow it said "Avada Kedavra" with the right movements, and... Well, you can figure the rest out.

One more minute and it's midnight. Not really when he wants to be here. All of his family at home for the first time since Ron's wedding, probably because of Charlie's birthday tomorrow. They're probably getting ready to celebrate.

No idea when he'll be home. Fingers crossed before daybreak. There's this hole in the ground, and those five doctors, and the neighours saw that flash, and ... Well, work, you know. First thing... I'll need to call a clerk for document C42.752a .

 

Teaser 2: Lucius Malfoy

 

Lucius heard the bell toll twelve times. Another document for Mr. Weasley :(  Losing Lord Voldemort still made him crawl, but the consequences that had for him and his family! They now had to sleep in the Ministry, and had to actually WORK !!! He hated it.
 
Luckily Draco and Narcissa were still down, so they wouldn't see what he had ready to bring up. Would that phone call to Weasleys family have gone through? Let's hope.
 

Teaser 3: Molly Weasley

 

Why was Ron still in bed? She'd woken him half an hour ago !  We urgently need to get to the Ministry. Arthy's still there, and it wouldn't be a daybreak-birthday without him !! And then there was Narcissa's phone... What to think of that?

 
Ah, he's just in the toilet. Would some strangling get him to move faster? Maybe...
 
Okay, let's depart.
 

Teaser 4: Draco Malfoy

 

What would dad's surprise be for the Weasleys? Must be important, since he wanted ME with him when he gave it... Wait, there he is. Let's see. I hate that kid Percy.

 

A flick of the wand, and "Mistium Fogore" . A big fog arose, just as the sun started to peak.

 

 

 

This will be a standard "basic mafia" game. Some quirks:

- inactivity can be a game thing. However, you will die at the end of night if I haven't heard from you during that day-night cycle (either in-game or via a pm). No replacements. There will, however be a secondary doctor and cop designated beforehand (without them knowing) if either of those roles needs to die this way.

- Polyjuice will be applied freely. This applies to lovers (yes, there will be lovers). It also applies to characterclaiming. I've given a town character to claim for everyone. Half these claims are lies, half aren't. You must stick to it. Even no hinting at the 'real' character.

- Points will be awarded for finding an error to the English language in my texts. To be reported by pm to me.


Others ("standard")
- Malfoys win if they outnumber Weasleys, Weasleys win when all Malfoys are dead;
- no editing;
- unvoting not necessary, votes should be clearly votes. If the latter gives problems, this may change.
- no talking about the game, except in one of the designated QTs or this topic.
- no majority-lynch by deadline -> half the townies and half the mafia die. No coroner, no nothing. Voting a "no-lynch" or self-voting is not possible.

- one BAH-post when deadeded.

If you want to characterclaim, pm me, and I'll give you the town character to claim. Half the claims will be lies, half won't be. Once you have received a character to claim, you must stick to it.

 
- ghosts are real :)

 

 

These rules are quite strange. Are ghosts actually part of the game mechanics or are you just joking? If so, what purpose do they fulfill?

Umm I'm slightly drugged from pain medication so a 6.
