I'm not voting myself. But others should hammer or it's a wasted day.

Lots of good info out there. Pay attention to those Turing to look as though they are particpating but aren't.

And don't let dice off the hook. That doc claim reeks.

Kaylee was exhausted. She had spent the day keeping an eye on just about everyone. She didn't trust anyone at this point. Where were those weapons? Who had them and why kill? While puzzling over this Kaylee realized that today was a port day. Maybe the thought of pulling into port tonight will calm the killer enough to lay low...maybe the killings were done. She hoped she was right. A nice warm beach sounded wonderful though and Kaylee couldn't wait to get off the ship for awhile, perhaps she wouldn't get back on board. She looked out the window and sighed at the beauty and wondered why she had decided to host this cruise.

Kaylee looked up and realized she needed to prep for dinner. She was on her way to the kitchen when she saw someone standing in the shadows.

"You there, you're not supposed to be in this area. Who are you? Guests are supposed to stay..." Her voice trailed off as she realized the figure was not moving at all. She swallowed hard. "You ok?" No response. Knowing she was likely to regret it, Kaylee walked over and tapped the man. Peace's lifeless body fell to the ground, a mirror in his hand. He had been strangled. She looked around and saw the backs of the guest and knew they had yet again killed an innocent man.

Peace, Vanilla Town, has been lynched

It is now N2. Deadline is in 24 hours Thursday 10pm MST: http://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/generic?iso=20131024T22&p0=197&msg=N+2

Well then. Sucks to lose town but it could have been much worse. And I don't really think Peace was on his "A" game anyways.

Mish already revealed so this is somewhat unnecessary, but I thought I had said that my read on her changed from scum to town. She's right, she does tend to AtE more as town. Doesn't mean that will always excuse the AtE, but her willingness to give reads on everyone unprovoked tells me she is definite town. So I believe the claim.

Right now my biggest scum reads are probably on Tress and Red. Tress is subject to why me fry me a not this game, and seems VERY self conscious about how her actions will make her look. Guilty conscience much, Tress? Red meanwhile pings for a few of her disjointed thoughts in her wot, and mostly for her defense of Peace, where she said he was beating the grass (which was obviously untrue). I think it was an example of scum trying to link themselves to a townie looking like they would get lynched.

Btw just remembered something, about that quote I said that Red posted. I was pretty sure Aemon posted it, but someone corrected me. However, I still think I'm right, because I had responded to it as part of it was directed at me (the "your reads seem very contrived" or something like that). Don't have a comp right now, on my phone so not gonna search for it. Can someone quote the original post tho, just to make me feel more comfortable about my sanity? Thanks in advance.

For crying out loud Peace, I wish you'd claimed so we didn't have to waste a townie death. This sucks.

?

A VT claim from him would have made you automatically believe him to be town? Wasn't really much time to secure a lynch on anyone else at that point...

He signed his own lynch when he kept pushing on Hallia/Dice imo. Time to move on and find scum. We have a couple of good leads I'd say.

Wtf?

Why would his claim help??

Did you just post a typical scum omg this sux? Seriously?

Mish, posts like this are the reason you had to claim. Not because people unjustly vote you. Because sometimes you say very scummy things and get yourself in a bad spot.

Like now. Except you're the unCC'ed cop so you can get away with it...

Des, nice backtracking. All smooth and stuff.

Oh my first post got posted. My internet wonked out so I thought it didn't.

It didn't help Peace's case anything that he refused to claim. A VT claim wouldn't have let him atuomatically off the hook, but it would at least made it seem like he was a little bit interested in trying to help town.

And whether you had to claim is up for some serious debate... That was quite early on your part.

It was under 6 hours left until deadline, and I was the biggest train. What should I have done; wait until an hour before deadline? Half an hour? L-2? L-1? And risk us not securing a lynch at all?

I even was at L-2 (had to go back and check, thought I was at L3 when I claimed). So please do tell me RTE when you think it would have been appropriate for me to claim, and still leave us time enough to secure a lynch.

Made the same mistake that you did actually. Didn't realise that.

But if I had been at L-3.... When should I have claimed then? Should I have sat around waiting to get to L-2, no matter how long that took? And risk that if I didn't check the thread every second minute, I'd get three votes in a row and suddenly be dead?

Why do you think you would be run up so quickly as opposed to peace? The trains were close, either were likely. As a town PR with a lot of people on your train near deadline, yea I would hope for a certain level of commitment near deadline to see it through and try to survive without claiming.

That deadline was at 6:30 in the morning (european time). Just saying.
