THE METAL - End: Dinner for Wolves

The Sun rose between the outstretched fingers of the monolith that was Mount Rockmonanon. Below, in the shadow of its Mighty wake stirred twelve villagers from their slumberings, yet unaware of the nightmares that would befall them this day. A METAL breakfast feast of cocoa puffs and ham was to be served at the house of Ornmön this morn. That was when all heard the howl. Power-sliding outside the men and women grabbed their Axes and prepared to face the evil Lycan horde. However it was not meant to be. With testosterone filled veins the first man on the scene, Darthë Lars,snatched a letter from the town-center monument to Ormogödden and read it aloud.

Human cattle,

We sense growing unease in your camp. As you become more fractured your group weakens, has already weakened. Now the wolves rest amongst the sheep and your end is nigh. But we do love a good sport so here is our game. Each night one of you will die. Each day you may try to catch us. If we win we eat you. If you win, no more wolf problems.

The town stood stunned at the letter. It was too much! What would they do? As if in answer the mighty arm of Lars crushed the paper into a flatter piece. He looked up, cold blue eyes shining beneath the red glow of Ormogödden, and said "We will kill them both" before stomping away in a glorious huff.

It is now Day One. With 12 alive it takes 7 to lynch.

Just starting to catch up, but I had to mention I didn't even finish the first line of the OP before I was giggling my ass off. Kudos Darthe.

That scene was awesome Darthe. Interesting commentary I have: only recently found out what the greatest and most metal breakfast ever is: cocoa puffs mixed with honey smacks (Dig 'em!). Seriously freaking metal. Was like 17 guitar, bass, and keyboard solos going off in my mouth at once (which I guess would be prog metal, but still counts).

 

But yeah, didn't realize till I was "catching up" that the signup thread transmorphed into the game thread, not unlike a, well, werewolf

 

So yeah, wasn't too hard to catch up. Haven't really seen anything of note yet. I will be disappointed if we end up actually mislynching today, what with there being 5 scum out of 12 players. Odds are in our favor.

 

 

Was trying to find something funny to post about metal, and I think I found a winner. Never heard of em but love the album art. Also the album name. Surprised they didn't go with a Spanish Inquisition themed album cover. Maybe thought it would end up too blasphemous?

Also I think that Kickapoo is a Tenac reference, so lemme just say that "FHG" is so freaking awesome. As was a lot of songs on their first album. Second one is kinda meh, but I did like the movie.
