I don't have much of a read on Lily yet, I generally find her hard to read, so I don't have much to add there now. I'm following the discussion closely though.

It has some very good points, but so does aemon's case on Darthe, I don't trust one much over the other.

 

 

And if I didn't support it at all; why bother bringing it up yet again after you'd FoSed me for doing it once? I knew it was an unpopular idea, but I still thought it was worth putting it up. I can't help but feel like Verb is playing the WIFOM game with us hard when it comes to lynching him; he's dangling it so hard in our face to make us think we shouldn't do it, when it's really the thing we must do. Or the other side of course, that he's danling it in our face to make us think in circles and think that we have to do it, and then of coruse doing it will make us loose.

 

But really, we're loosing anyway, and it doesn't help that we keep lynching scummy people, when we have no idea afterwards if we just lynched town or mafia. Lynching Verb is stll the only thing I can see that will bring change one way or another. It might screw us over, it might kill all the townies, we won't know until it's done. But something will happen, and right now that's enough for me, because I'm getting severely frustrated with the game like it is now.

Well Mish, you're not any more lilely to be wrong on that than the rest of us. Verb is a unique issue. How do we approach this? It seems like a blind situation, but he said that we would have to figure his game out. This deserves some consideration. Does anyone have any other theories about the outcome of this?

I have an idea. It actually connects to RTE's ability to end night whenever he wishes. It was mentioned before that it seems odd that Verbal would give him the ability to do it all the time because it would be an unbalanced game. And I know for a fact that Verbal likes to rave about his games being super balanced. What if lynching him before scum are done with... results in scum having one day kill? It would balance out RTE's role and fall under the severe consequences pile if you ask me.

I did not get an ability for saying I love Verbal. And no, Salami, I never said till now. 

 

My case on Lenlo was weak. It was day one. I suck at day one, as you very well know. 

 

I didn't switch to Lenlo because I would rather have lynched you. When I saw that train going nowhere, I switched to one that was viable. Why exactly are consolidating and trying to avoid a random lynch seen as scummy?

With the"appears as" head game going on I don't know how much it would help us. I think it might just add more WIFOM to the mix. In my opinion, our best chance is to continue building cases until something happens that gives us a better handle on the alignment situation. I can't believe that Verb would make a game where the cop role is useless, so there must be some way to use the information you are getting. I have no idea what that way might be, but I'm sure it exists. Ideas?

A solitary vote doesn't mean much, especially when not many seem to agree with your plan.  It would look more legit in my eyes if you were to actually vote Verb, stubborn yes, but not second-guessing yourself or pandering to the town.
