@Aemon: one of the players highlighted in gold isn't dead. RTE is still alive. Ishy is the only one of those dead who is in gold. And fwiw, RTE's ability was already confirmed by the mod, as well as his character. And I don't really remember Ishy saying anything major before he died. This all tells me that it's somewhat likely that gold = confirmed townies, and that for some reason when Verbal confirmed RTE's character and ability it also confirmed his alignment. Apparently RTE is an Innocent Childlike Timekeeper that can end phase multiple times, otherwise known as TFPTSLOOIA.

Not sure. Mebbe he couldn't confirm the alignment of either of the Lovers considering that there will still Lovers in the game (me and Mish) and that might give info he didn't intend.

 

Also, townies shouldn't be offended if someone cases them in a game where only mafia know alignments of players at the start of the game. That would be like getting mad at a blind dude for bumping into you.

After I posted about that some things being ignored bothers me (and failed to mention this) Mish said she got nothing from this and commented that it's weird that I didn't mention it. Then I answered with "Master, Master, where's the role that I've been after".

 

I think Lily chimed in and said she got nothing either.

Ishy wasn't a lover I think; it looked like Pral and Dap was lovers, because their names was listed right after each other:

 

 

Dap, Red Queen, has been killed.

Pralaya, White Queen, is dead.

 

Ishy, Beast, has been killed.

 

And the wording about Pral, "is dead" instead of "had been killed", would make it seem like Pral just died without getting killed, as in his lover got killed and so he died too as a consequense. And then he probably used his revenge kill to take down Ishy.

Now, about Verb. I couldn't sleep last night and lay awake thinking about this. To me, it feels like he's very, very hard to discourage us from lynching him. Dire consequenses and all that. What I know of a bastard game, is that it's common to have to lynch the mod at some point? Well, it feels to me like Verb has been doing his best to discourage us from it, but if it was because of bad consequenses; why would he care? He's a bastard mod, and wants us all to loose. So why warn us so hard? Probably to discourage us from thinking about it. But honestly, what kind of consquenses could it be? Remove corononers? Lol, got that. Kill a bunch of townies at random? Well for all we know, we're doing that already and it feels like we're on ur steady way to loosing no matter what we do. Disable all town PRs? At the monent they're not doing us much good anyway. Switch alignement on all players? Doesn't seem likely. Maybe someone that's played longer can figure it out. But I simply can't see right now what Verb can throw at us that'll make this game worse for town than it is. We're walking towards the cliff and we know it, the only problem is that it's super foggy so we have no idea if the cliff is right in front of us or a kilometer further down the road.

 

I think Verb is WIFOMing us as best as he can, and that we, town, need to lynch him to get some coroners or info. I don't expect anyone to agree, but that's my thoughts on it anyway.

For now, I will vote Krak.

He completly fell of the radar in the last game he was mafia, just like he's doing now.

Excellent point, Des. My entire premise for the golden names could be wrong. I'm still going to go back over what Ishy said to see if I can pull anything out of it.

@Mish- I still think going for a Verbal lynch without having a clue how many scum remain could have disastrous consequences for all the reasons Darthe gave on D1. Frankly, I don't think we are close to ready for a Verbal lynch. We have some pretty good candidates today that should give us more info.

I see Mish has repackaged her "I don't know, therefore lynch Verb" argument with a bunch of filler and misinformation. Her arguments are couched in uncertainty, but she appears very intent on lynching Verbal.

 

First of all, as I already told Dap, lynching the mod is not a common way to win bastard games. That is bullcrap.

 

Secondly, preemptively discrediting any objections your two biggest detractors would have is scummy.

 

Thirdly, Verbal has not been trying hard to keep us from lynching him. If anything, he is goading us into it. The best way to get people to want to do something stupid is to have a tyrant tell them they can't.

I feel like I have said this many times but I think we need to guess how many mafia we have lynched. When we think that we might have four then it´s time to lynch Verbal. The problem is the guessing part.
