The response to whether your pair is town is an automatic PAFO, I'd say.

The Coroner role (if true) sounds like town.

 

2) I don't understand how your oracle role works. How many questions can you ask?

As per this distroys the part of the reason I remember to vote Des. Unless Des and dice are both mafia, which I have a hard time believing.

No it says nothing about my lovers alignment. as for benefit  itd be the same as masons i guess except only one of us seems to be town

Dice, that's an awful lot of info you have been given. I'm finding it suspicious that an oracle would be allowed that many questions just during the first phase. How many questions are you allowed to ask?

 

And I am a titan. I feel I can reveal that, since others have said they are god/men/whatever without saying their characters, and have not gotten mod-wrathed.

 

There was no limit and i do not have to wait for a specific phase. Basically when i get one answer I ask another question. I probably coulda asked a bunch at once but i didnt do it that way. Only thing that really limits it is that me and RTE are not on at the same time.

Holy bazonkas that's a lot to process. I have to believe the claim cause I don't think there's any way you could have come up with that much stuff as a lie. It is incredible however, that RTE put a role so OP in the game. Whelp, this should be pretty easy.

I say you should out your partner/Lover. It's already pretty common to see mixed couple a lot as Lovers, and you getting a PAFO to that question when so many other questions were answered is pretty iffy to say the least. And even though we'll prob lose you, you've already given us so much we'll have gotten great use out of your role either way.

 

I'm also kinda surprised to find out that the Titans in this game are town. Since we know how many there are, I say they come forward and reveal themselves. We'll either get 4 confirmed townies off the bat, or else one or more of the mafia will try and cc and slip in and we will have good leads on other scum.

 

Was also nice to see myself vindicated bout the mafia=gods thing

Cassandra was an Oracle. She was technically the possession of Apollo - and was gifted with the ability to see the future. But she spurned him and was doomed to never be believed.

 

I don't know if Apollo would be classed as Bad - but he certainly was not forgiving lol. I also have this weird feeling that Despo would be Apollo if I'm guessing right - as he said it would be very ironic when I called him Cassandra that time.

Actually the character my lover claims does not make automatic sense to me as a potential lover of mine.

Now as for why i am coming forward When I asked was my lover town i was given PAFO. When i questioned it the response leads me to believe my Lover is 3rd party at best mafia at worst. And no the mod did not say anything definite. However he claimed in the QT to be the Town Coroner. I dont believe that as I cannot see a coroner being third party.

@Tina: Of course me voting for Berf and pushing for a speedlynch wasn't meant to be taken seriously. I have been playing mafia longer than that, lol. I just noticed that the game was starting to slow down to a crawl and I wanted to get a couple of reactions from people, but it didn't really work out as planned. I disagree with Berf's cases, but so far I haven't seen any pingy play from him that could warrant a serious vote.

I unvoted from Basel because he finally came back in the game with a defense of his own. He is still sticking to his earlier reads from the start of the game, but I can't blame him for not having any new scum reads because I don't have them myself either, and there hasn't happened that much since then anyway.

 

I also found Thorum's play weird, but he was kinda acting the same way in the Harry Potter game in the WT and Wombat also mentioned that he is on his meta so I'm guessing it's nothing new for him to question a mod confirmed townie in a normal game :P

 

Wait a second here. The purple bit. You know you are talking about the game where Thorum and Wombat was mafia together, right? So you find it to be completly fine that Wombat is doing the exact same thing here, as in a game where he was recently mafia?

 

I know that he and Wombat were mafia together in that game, but I think that the way Thorum is acting now doesn't have anything to do with his allignment. It's just his playstyle.

 

 

As for Thorum's meta, he always does weird stuff. It's not the language, it's just Thorum. Thorum questioning a mod-confirmed townie is par for the course imo. I can never get a read on Thorum until a few days in usually. And of course I used that to defend him in the WT game. Just because I was scum didn't mean I couldn't use valid meta.

 

Wombat also explains it pretty well.

 

 

WOW I'm a little shocked by Dice's reveal. It's crazy how much info he seems to have gotten only during the first Day, and even if we lynch him now to verify his claim it will be so worth it.

Thoughts incoming after some other odds and ends. Interesting. My initial thought is that the titans should stay SHUT UP so they don't attract mafia attention.

 

We don't need confirmed towns yet. Having them out in the open so early will only help mafia I feel.

 

As to this lover thing - more thought required. If you are town they can't NK you obviously if the other Lover is mafia... But if they is town, they NK you and get two for one. Hrmm.

 

But Oracle AND Lover? Indeed. Someone with more knowledge of the subject can probably find a 'character' that fits those two roles.

 

I agree with Berf on the Titan thing. They should just stay quiet about them being a titan unless they are about to get lynched or something.

I also find it odd that he could have asked so many questions. An Oracle is generally only able to ask one question each Night, but the specific info that Dice has brought to the table makes me believe him.

 

 

As for the Lover thing, I also think that Dice should just tell us who that person is so that we can lynch him and confirm everything Dice has said so far.

CS, this is actually a good idea. If everyone states his/her race, we either get 4 confirmed townies now, or a split between two groups of known mafia/town allignment.

1- Lynch Dice and look for the Town flip/Role

 

2- Accidently lynch his unnamed Lover

 

3- Cop View

 

I don't think we should lynch Dice as I'm not reading scum from him, and potentially we could be taking out two Town.

Lynching his Lover -  at THIS stage with the info at hand... *shrug* I'm still deciding what info we do/don't want this person out in the open.

Cop View then is likely best bet?

 

If Dice is town, and his lover is NOT MAFIA, very high chance Dice is dead tonight along with mystery lover.

If Dice is town, and his lover IS Mafia, Dice will survive, and we will potentially have a mafia in the hand. 

 

Important to Note - Dice surviving the night is not indicative 100% of a Mafia lover. But basically the mafia can't move against him if it is true.

 

Therefore - A cop view becomes the best choice. If he is playing with Mafia Lover then he WILL survive, and a cop view clears the Oracle stuff for us.

The only good way to deal with this is for them te keep quiet and only reveal if they absolutely have to. And what do you mean with two confirmed townies? Keeping an Oracle alive with the help of the Doc is more benefitial than just killing him. I don't think that Nolder and RTE would have made this game unbalanced, and so the mafia team must have a lot of tricks up their sleeves too.

FOS on you for saying that the Cop should verify Dice. If we do that then we will only out our Cop, making him a target or his investigation could get blocked or redirected or something.

 

That's why I said that the Doc should keep protecting Dice so we don't lose him. The Lover should just stay hidden.
