I'm not pingy. People are just saying I am because they can't actually think of anything specific I have done - hence use of terms like ping. It's just nudging again. It's an old old old worn out and tired thing to do.

 

If people actually thought I was mafia they would be voting me. Instead they lay stealth trails that they can build upon in later posts to get me Lynched. I look forward to what you manage to come up with.

 

Sadly I'm still just really really bored.

 

I was a bit excited and interested earlier today ... but my mojo upped and went and now I'm just Blah.

Just copy and paste whenever your timer ticks down and says you should make a post about something that makes someone seem a bit mafia lol. Don't forget to occasionally include members of your Team is you are on the Mafia team. If you leave them out completely it will be really obvious when you eventually get deaded and we start trawling through your old posts.

I am completely failing to see any reason by anyone to vote me bar vague 'its pinging" statements.

 

Why am I pinging? What exactly about my despo case do you not agree with? Why am I mafia, what have I said or done to give you that impression?

I was expecting a bit more from Basel.. He seems to be just giving up while I think there haven't been that many votes on him. Thorum's play is just weird and he seems to be all over the place.

Really, Cloud? I've said all that I can say. How do you qualify that as me giving up? Ordinarily, I'd let everyone know who my character is, but I can't do that. So my hands are tied as far as defending myself. Really... tell me exactly where I am supposedly giving up. I dare you. I double dare you.

 

 

 

The bolded part of the following post gives me the impression that you are giving up. Why aren't you defending yourself against the cases that have been made against you? You don't have to rely on character claims you know. Aren't you defending yourself because you know that you can't beat the current case against you, or is it something else?

I gave my thoughts on why I suspect Des and Rory already. And since I can't give my character, I've pretty much said all I can say. I just don't want my death to be in vain.

 

 

Why are you so eager to defend Des? I think he is likely to be mafia. The case against me seems to be based solely on the fact that I changed my vote, which is hardly unprecedented in mafia. I was voting Rory, and am still suspicious of Rory, but I think Des looks scummier between the two of them. I was originally more suspicious of Rory. My earlier suspicion of Des was based on his use of setup talk while calling Rory out for the same thing. The Womby mentioned Des doing more setup talk in a different post, which meant Des had engaged in setup talk not once but TWICE while calling Rory out for it. That was enough to persuade me.

 

I have actually yet to see this fabled Jester role in a game. Has anyone here even seen one?

 

Yes, actually. BG's James Bond game had Kaylee as a jester.

 

Ithi, your case on Despo is bad. We should lynch Basel for trying to disappear.

 

I have this thing called a job. And I had noted elsewhere (in a thread you're part of) that I would be working late tonight.

There really hasn't been anything said about berfs other than "weaksauce" and "I'm getting pings". Is there anything specific or is this a scum plot?

Once again dude, you could be claiming a role, or giving reads on more players everywhere else, or trying to do actual scumhunting, instead of just falling back on the same old reads. You're really starting to fall into whyme fryme territory.

You are claiming Roled Town - I don't believe Roled Town would play a risky play as you are claiming with your trap. It's that simple. There is no role I can think of (pro-town) that would be trying to cop a view/mafia attention whatever. Feel free to provide some examples.

 

And derisory tone noted. Why are you trying to discredit me? Fight the case, not my character.

Rhea was the first time ever we got a mafia day 1 (with me playing). This has been discussed in a recent game, and the conclusion there was that things had changed. Rhea is not proof enough for that to me.

 

Weren't you in the Underworld game? We bagged scum first day in that one... pretty sure you've been in other games that bagged scum first day as well...

 

 

Thorum, I'm not gonna discuss that any further with you before you find yourself a wikia and read about the Innocent Child role. Right now, you are being a nuiscance because of your ignorance.

 

I cannot. Mafiascum is blocked at work, and I no longer have much internet at home. It has been discussed profoundly enough, so I know what the term means. Why should there not exist a role like "quilty child" or something similar? Why do you oblige me to seem to go up against the person LEAST likely to be mafia ?

 

Very important rule of life in general (and mafia in particular): "always question everything". Not the most important one, that would be "Have fun" :)

And about the whole Berf and Despo thing.. I think that Despo has defended himself well enough, and quite frankly I think Berf's case has too many flaws.

How about the things I have said about Despo? His varying statements about what his PM said about who the Mafia Team might be?

Varying statements? Pretty sure I have never waffled in what I said I discovered from my pm. And its pretty obvious that BECAUSE we cant claim, it's NOT a huge flood of info that could take down the mafia team, which would be overpowered. You and Berf seem to be working in tandem to draw as much focus as possible to what I said about knowing the mafia team was made up of gods. Trying to overplay the situation to distract town as much as possible day 1?

 

Can we all stop talking about Thorum questioning the mod on Hallia - no matter how many people ask the question, the answer (or lack thereof) doesn't seem to be changing.  We get it, it was beaten into the ground after the 6th person asked the question.

 

Actually kind of agree with you there. Thorum's confusion about something everyone else sees differently is sorta par for the course for him.

 

Logical fallacy. Awesomeness does not preclude pinginess. Otherwise I would never be lynched.

Still think MCS's "godslip" warrants more attention, but since peeps don't seem to be following me there I'm gonna Unvote, Vote Basel. He seems to be dodging request after request to actually show up in his own defense more, he seems to be trying to lurk as much as possible through it and hope people switch their vote to newer targets. His recent whyme fryme behavior does nothing to prove his towniness to me.
