I just got to this post:

I had both global and local points to make, I just happened to start with the global ones, as they seemed the more immediately interesting of the two.

Wait. So you are doing pretty much the same thing I'm doing [responding to global arguments] yet you call me out for replying to global arguments as they pop up [because that makes more sense, btw] rather than "arbitrarily" choosing a single thread to address these points in - and that isn't scummy? YET - you questioned why I would do that and expressed concerns about it because I wasn't posting in here as much??

That's weird, dude.

What do you think about Csarmi's meltdown and lynch?

I've said before I have a town feel on him. I understand his meltdown; must be extremely frustrating to be lynched (close to lynch) in all three games. If he ends up being mafia in one, I'll be very suprised.

Not a big fan of whoever's plan of at the end of d2 start lynching whoever hasn't contributed much... If that's how it's gonna be, I'll never be able to play again. Most here should know it takes me until D2 to actually get into the game.

Feel like I shouldn't comment just to avoid unwanted discussion but since it's night..  Bolded is not a valid reason for not contributing.

Well what should I do? Post false reads because I have no reads? Make up opinions? I need a bit more time to get a grasp on a game, it's nothing new. I'm not gonna talk just for the sake of it when I have nothing to say.

You don't have to be a braniac to post a vote and say why. Or to disagree with a post and give quick input. If you can't scum hunt then go comment on other people's scumhunting. There's more than one way to be useful.

I wish there were a nice ISO function that I could use to easily corroborate this, but I don't think you've really commented on anything thread-specific in this one. I have no problem with you choosing thread 2 to do your global analysis, but I got the impression that you cared about local stuff more in T2 and T3 than here.

Selma Ross walked through the little village she had grown to hate so much.  She hated it even more this year.  A man had been found unmarked but dead on the road about a mile out last night and it being Samhain everyone was whispering about evil spirits and faeries of course.  The fools.

Samhain.  She hated it.  The harvest was over, the kine being brought in for slaughter, and the bounteous crop being celebrated.  So the village was full of the sounds of laughing and screaming and the smells of liquor, blood, and feces.  She was walking past a group of fools dooking for apples when someone grabbed her from behind, put a hand over her mouth, and started dragging her.  She tried to bite but to no avail.

"Hello Selma.  Been meaning to catch up with you.  You hear about the man found dead out on the road?  Of course yeh' did.  That were your work weren't it?  Livin' alone on that house up on the hilltop, whisperin' with spirits, cursin' the townfolk.  Well it were too much this time.  You've gone and killed someone and now you're gonna pay.  Whole town's decided on it."

The man stopped dragging her, turned her around and released his hand from her mouth.  Selma tried to scream or fight or something, but the man dunked her head in the apple barrel and held her down for a good minute.  And then another.

Only when Selma stopped fighting and started seizing as the water filled her lungs did the man let her go, her head floating facedown in the barrel, ringed by a dozen apples.

Csarmi, Selma Ross, Vanilla Town has been lynched.

It is now night.  Please submit actions ASAP.  If you do not wish to use an action, please let us know that as well.

I'm not sure if this is a misrep or if you are just confused.  I haven't payed any particular attention to "local stuff" in any of the threads as far as I can recall.  I had been primarily focused on the trilynch.  I'll likely start paying much more attention to individual threads beginning now [following my analysis of the wagons].  I think the only thing I noted was BG's weird rationale for not voting Salami in a particular thread.

Was that this one or 3?

For the record, I support the idea of running up the inactives who have not posted much content.  Sometimes the threat to lynch isn't enough - some folks need to see themselves at L-2 before they start contributing.  We all knew this would be a demanding game.  No excuses.

Sort of.  He's the only person in this game that would see what I saw from someone.  I want to check on it to make sure I'm not reading in to things too deeply.

Damn.  Keep missing it.

Dude, you have a serious mancrush on Verb, don't ya?

Don't mind Ishy, he's jealous.

Now what are you asking?  I can take a guess, but I'd rather not and make you spit it out.

Good morning. I really gotta fix my sleeping rhytm cause I've missed all the action again I see. I will be very surprised if Csarmi flips anything but town here.

Not a big fan of whoever's plan of at the end of d2 start lynching whoever hasn't contributed much... If that's how it's gonna be, I'll never be able to play again. Most here should know it takes me until D2 to actually get into the game.

While I wasn't necessarily advocating enacting that plan immediately on D2, I do agree with Tiinker. Just because you normally "take a while to get a feel for things" doesn't mean you should get a free pass for lurking. It's one thing to be a rhythm player, to build up on your reads and get better as the game goes on. That doesn't mean you can't contribute a bit more early on in games too however. If you're mafia, you're essentially saying you can coast by through day 1's in every game without raising too many eyebrows. That's not cool.

It's day 1. Your reads aren't expected to be uber solid. In a way almost everyone is going to be jumping at shadows day 1 until something stands out more than other stuff and people start agreeing. But yeah, if it's easier, sure, make up opinions. At least then you'll be contributing more and you'll have a start at broadcasting your alignment, which in general will help the game out.

Thing is, this game format makes the Lynch All Lurkers policy MUCH more effective than usual, because it potentially carries the threat of being lynched in 3 games at once. So yeah, I'm all for it. Maybe towards the end of day 2, or possibly day 3.

So just throwing out my reads in the threads for now. I got Serra/Cloud/Rorschach as scum in this one (T1), Cloud/Nolder in T2, and Chuckles/??? in T3 (need to reread that one to try and divine more info)

Desp, didn't (at least a part of) your case against me rely on me being Csarmi's scumbuddy in one of the threads?

Yates, if that was a misrep, it wasn't intentional. I do think it's at least accurate that a higher proportion of your posts here are fluff than in 2 or 3. I'll keep an eye out for it in my next reread...
