Even without the whole promised self-vote thing from the previous game (which you were TOTALLY privy to, seeing as how you were his scumbuddy), it still should have been obvious that it was a joke self-vote. He was being bandwagoned for pretty much nothing immediately at the start of day 1. I myself would have probably whined for 7 pages about how everyone was out to get me. Yates is a little more flippant tho so he decided to enjoy a laugh at his own expense at the situation.

Ok that makes a lot more sense.

But now I'm confused on another point.

You're basically saying, knowing that your promise to self vote was a scummy delaying tactic in the other game (I didn't need to be mod to know that but w/e), does that change my perception of your self vote in this game?

Hmmm answering a question with another question.... Nol sure seeming evasive lately...

So... Cloud-Nol scum team in T2?

Nope.  I'm asking you if you think my self vote was scummy [per your description] or lulz [per carry over from the previous game].  I think that much is obvious to everyone else in this thread.

OK

I UNDERSTAND WHERE OUR MISCOMMUNICATION IS COMING FROM I THINK

Your self vote in the kingdom hearts game was not "lulz" and I don't know why you would describe it as such.

Also if you wanted to know if I thought your self vote in this game was scummy (I already said no btw) then why didn't you just say so?

You made that waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more complicated than it needed to be.

Obviously my Kingdom of Hearts play was a gambit.  Don't know why you are pretending you thought I was talking about that game. Nobody else seems to have thought that.

Obviously my self vote here was for lulz.  Don't know why you didn't just come out and say it. Everyone but you and Cloud, apparently, knew that.

Here's my concern...  waaaaay back in post 315 you said:

I generally prefer to policy lynch self voters. It is never a pro town move as it is usually an appeal to emotion.

When Verbal asked:

Even D1 silly ones?

He was clearly talking about the specific example of the Yates self vote that Cloud had taken a weird stance on and was being grilled on as recently as post 311. In swoops Nolder to offer his unsolicited opinion on the matter [in 315] then drops this generic abstract theory bomb on the thread in response :

The reason this concerns me is because you took a question about a specific event and unnecessarily turned it into an abstract argument. This pings hard because this is one of those scum tells that seldom fails.  So in addition to defending Cloud, who is a grown boy with grown up pants on capable of making his own defenses, you tried to spin this argument into something it wasn't.  Even when someone tried to put you back on track you derailed the argument and went off in a weird and illogical direction.

HUGE FoS on Nolder.

That's how it's kinda lookin to me atm. Cloud/Nol in T2, Serra/Cloud/Rorchach in T1, and Chuckles/??? in T3 (I gotta go back through that one, that thread is being ignored a bit methinks)

I want to read all the games your in just so I can look at all the pictures and videos you link in context of the game.

November 3, 1604. Morning

TENSIONS HIGH IN WAKE OF GRISLY MURDERS

The Watch is in an uproar today after the loss of one of their own. Constable Rick Macduff, a man well known for his fair and rutheless demeanor towards crime, was fatally wounded by an unknown assailant in the night.

The second, a man locally called Yew, was found facedown on the bank of the River Thanes in Westminster. He was 37 years old, father to two children.

The Yard had no comment on these heinous crimes.

God rest their souls.

Ishy, aka Constable MacDuff Town Jailkeeper has been killed.

Leelou, aka Yew, Town Vanilla has been killed.

It is now Day. You have 72 hours.

You made that waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more complicated than it needed to be.

Don't know why you're giving me that look, I'm serious.

You could have asked a simple question and instead dressed it up and confused me and now you're making some whack case because I didn't understand you convoluted question.

Obviously my Kingdom of Hearts play was a gambit.  Don't know why you are pretending you thought I was talking about that game. Nobody else seems to have thought that.

Oh I don't know...maybe because you started your post out referencing that game?

No it couldn't be that simple could it?

Obviously my self vote here was for lulz.  Don't know why you didn't just come out and say it. Everyone but you and Cloud, apparently, knew that.

As for you being worried I am making some kind of pseudo case on you, you can relax because I'm not.

It was Page 1 so I was willing to let it go, especially considering your play afterwards and at the time I already had bigger fish to fry.

If what you wanted was some kind of affirmation that I'm not holding it against you you already got that.

The fact that you are so worried about it is...worrying. Seems like you're trying to gauge whether or not I'm "on your side" or not.

Here's my concern...  waaaaay back in post 315 you said:

When Verbal asked:

He was clearly talking about the specific example of the Yates self vote that Cloud had taken a weird stance on and was being grilled on as recently as post 311.

Was he? Really? Because he went on to talk about people we both know from a different site not "Yate's vote".

If he was trying to reference your post it was not clear at all.

My unsolicited opinion?

lol, you realize I am playing in this game right?

I have not just a right but you could say a duty to give my opinion on things, solicited or not.

And I didn't drop some abstract theory I just presented my stance on self votes and was asked a couple questions like Verbal.

I understand why you might feel attacked but this is the last time I'm going to say this and I'm going to make it as clear as I possibly can.

I am completely unconcerned with your self vote. I don't think it was scummy and I have no intention of building a case on you at all let alone a case based on something as flimsy as that.

Again there was no "abstract argument". I wasn't making any argument. I was just commenting on self votes. That's it.

How you got that twisted into defending Cloud I have no idea.

The deaths of Ishy and LeeLou both point to DMers.  This is not to say Serra or Ree are in the clear as scum, but I would bet dollars to doughnuts neither are [what I'm assuming is] the SK.

Vote: Cloud

This could just as easily be a vote for Nolder.  *shrug*

Me?

I've been saying for ages that I thought cloud was mafia on this thread

(This is T2 right?)

Yes, this is thread 2.  And that is the same conclusion that I've been drawing.  I'll be back in a bit with quotes.

talking to yates, and my guests are gone so ill reread all 3 threads to see what interesting i might find (it is mostly the same thing pretty much repeated in 3 threads)

With Csarmi flipping town, I'm less convinced of cloud being scum.

I think I prefer I'd prefer a peace lynch:

I don't really like peace here. His quotewall is pretty opportunistic. Trying to draw a connection between Leelou and cloud because Leelou voted him is pretty weak. "Early distancing" is a pretty overused buzzword, to be honest. He points fingers at the unreasoned cloud votes, while not doing the same with the Csarmi votes is off.

Then when he came back after desp's hammer, he didn't really comment on anything.

To the people that know him well: would scum-cloud be so obvious as to kill off Ishy for being suspicious of him? (edit: should be Ishy or Leelou, I suppose, as she was also pushing him, but was on the Csarmi wagon for most of the day)

Cloud only catching up in this thread when the other two threads were still in daytime did give me pause, but I think peace has been scummier overall. Peace/cloud is a possibility.

Vote Yates

For self voting. Ugh.

First up.  This one's been beaten to death.  But Cloud's vote on Yates is the first one to have a reason behind it.  It's evident that everyone else was joking in their votes.  Not Cloud.

Pulling up the Yates votes here:

Vote yates

hey

Ok, Yates is a good choice I guess.

Vote Yates

Works for me.

Vote Yates.

vote Yates

Nothing better than a Yates train to get things going.

Who am I to disagree with a wagon of such magnitude?

Vote: Yates

All of these are jokes.  Hell, even Yates joins in.  But, Cloud is the first to make it serious.  He implies that self voting is a scum tell, as that's the justification he uses to vote Yates while everyone else is more or less just having a grand old time.

his play has been sorta all over the place, his trap, his lack of proper defence and his ever changing story on why he played the way he did

How has his story changed?

Also, has he been less "all over the place" in any particular thread?

Check my post in the first game where I explained that his story keeps changing.

That's wonderful.  But why do you answer for Chuckles?

I didn't answer for Chuckles. He already gave his own answer to Yates, and after his post I explained that I noticed the same thing.

I'm quoting this one for my own reference.  I looked at the timestamps like Chuckles said - they're a minute apart.  Chuckles was at 5:16, Cloud at 5:17 (my time, at least).  You were probably working on the answers at the same time.  So while you're correct in saying that Chuckles did give his own answer, it looks to me like you tried answering that question for him, but were just beaten to it.  And trying to put words in Chuckles' mouth.  Get where I'm coming from now?

vote Cloud

Early distancing?

... and Nolder fell into my trap already. Now what was the next step?

>I did something dumb therefore it was a trap

Why does everyone use say this? lol

Just admit you did something dumb and save some face

ZOMG but it was the bestest trap eva!

Funny..but doesn't vote Csarmi yet.  Still on Cloud

Unvote. Vote Cloud.

Look who follows Leelou without a reason.

Unvote, Vote: Csarmi

Jokes aside, this is actually a really good idea.

HERE WE GO, LYNCH SALAMI, HERE WE GO!!!!!

Sorry, I couldn't help it.

woohoo...

unvote, vote salami

Still watching cloud though...

Votes Csarmi..but pointing at cloud.  Early distancing?  These two are tied together somehow.

NO BRAKES!

Am I doing it right? :P

So could move my vote back.

More bogus distancing

Vote: Cloud.

No reason to vote Cloud from Razen...2rd person to do this.

Note:  This is all just some strange stuff I'd like to see fleshed out.

Quoted because Peace pulls out the early votes from both Leelou and Ishy on Cloud and casts them as early and bogus distancing. What I find interesting is now, Leelou and Ishy are both dead.  I don't know if that's coincidental or not, but I do find it interesting that he singled them out and that they're now both dead. He pointed out that Leelou kept coming back to Cloud even though she was in favor of lynching Csarmi.  Leelou explains herself better afterwards in why she chose to vote and continued to bring up Cloud:

This is game 2 right?

Cloud has been pretty scummy in this thread. He is one of my top pics

I even quoted him and explaind in my first post. How do you not see clouds scummy?

A couple of things wrong with your statements here.  First...All those quotes I made came long before your first post in this thread.

Second...If Leelou is distancing from Cloud that makes him scum right?

He was coming off scummy in this thread, he deserved a vote. I think he's the best bet for scum in this thread.

He had made 1 post when you voted him.  He voted Yates for self voting.  Not buying your explanation.

He jumped on an easy train and it was the way he did it. Just slipped in going with everyone else.

Looking at the votes, I agree.  Cloud took an obvious joke and flipped it completely on its heels by making it into a serious voting point.  I'm guessing that Ishy saw that too and followed her.  Then Csarmi and the tri-lynch option took over.  Which, by the way, Cloud fiercely advocated in thread 3, but didn't really post anything about it in this thread.

Tl;dr.  Cloud's vote on Yates turned a joke train into a serious reason for voting - and a weak one at that.  Peace pointed out the early Cloud voters, of which 2 of whom are now dead, while he tried painting the Leelou/Cloud interaction as scummates distancing from each other.  Well, mostly Leelou distancing from Cloud.  Anyway, given what I've seen so far, Vote: Cloud.  I'm also not liking Peace for that post where he pushed the Leelou/Cloud as distancing scummates angle.

Something else that stuck out to me:

Why would the Csarmi train take off so fast. Did I miss something?

Not much.....just the main event in all 3 threads.......

>_>

That and Yates being a Dillhole.

This is after a lot of people shift over to Csarmi for his comment about the trap.  Yet, he places his vote on Yates.  Seems like a joke to me.  But I find it odd that he had nothing to say about the Csarmi situation at the time.  Or at least not in this thread.  In fact, at the final vote count, he left that same vote all day.

Official Vote Count FINAL VC:

Yates (1/12): Krak
Cloud (1/12): Ishy
Salami (12/12): Nol, Cloud, Yates, Verb, Leelou, Chuckles, Razen, Dap, Laya, Serra, BG, Des
Dap (1/12): Crush
BG (1/12): Salami

Not Voting (7/23):
Mishh, Hally, Lenlo, Peace, Tiink, Tina, Ree

SCENE INCOMING

Interesting.  Ishy explained he wanted nothing to do with the tri-lynch theory, Csarmi's not going to vote himself (yet), and Crusher used mostly the same logic that Ishy did regarding the tri-lynch.  But where's Krak in all of this?
