But it is morning *looks innocent* lol.

I'll be going out this weekend, but I'm gonna start a reread of this thread before going out, probably won't be finished until tomorrow. And it's sooo warm I can hardly think!

I feel you. It suddenly spiked to 35 degrees C in the last 3 days. I'm in Germany, not Norway but I can imagine all of Europe is toasting.

Posted

Well it's not that hot outside here (24-28 degrees), but I live in a loft apartment with only skylights, so we have very little airmovement inside. I wouldn't be suprised to find out it's well over 35 degrees inside here.

Patrick crept quietly towards the kitchens, taking a shortcut through the cellars.  He knew a cook there who liked to fool around.  Better yet, she sometimes let him raid the cured meats.  Patrick salivated as he started thinking about the fine prosciutto that had just arrived from Friuli.  He kept an ear to the ground for these sorts of things.  Patrick took a step forward and tripped over something.  He looked down at the culprit, a piece of cord, and shook his head, trying to shake the momentary dizziness.

"What's this then?  A rat?"  A man with shoulder length hair and a goatee walked into view holding a bulls-eye lantern and a rapier.

"Ah, a man.  Someone who's onto us?  No, more likely just some unlucky sod in the wrong place at the wrong time."  Patrick didn't know what the man was talking about.  His only thoughts were for the prosciutto.

"Well, I hope you've prepared your soul, friend," the man said, drawing his rapier.  Patrick tried to run, but his legs were tangled in the cord and he got nowhere.  He tried to scream, but the rapier pierced his throat and he made only a choked gurgling sound as blood spurted from his throat...

Crusher, Patrick McFinley, Vanilla Town has been killed.

November 5th, 1605

Sir Donald Mariam applauded and quickly fixed his hair as the King withdrew.  He had addressed the House of Lords today as it was the State Opening of Parliament, the first day of the new session.  His speech had been brief but to the point.  Sir Donald liked that.  Now he had more time to herd these sheep into a row for--

KABOOM!

Sir Donald's head was ringing.  Gray smoke curled through the air.  There were flames all around.  He heard a strangely resonant voice whispering to him quietly, but urgently.

Remember.  Remember...

Just as Sir Donald passed out, he realized he was going to die.

Tiinker, Sir Donald Mariam, Vanilla Town has been killed.

Reading up, halfway now, looks like I'lll maybe will have time to finish before I have to go. Still got three hours before it's time to catch the bus, but I also gotta eat and shower and make-up and stuff. I'll do my very best though.

Found out who was the second person who pinged me D1 (who'd I'd forgotten about again when I wrote my first post, I remembered it was Cloud and someone else, but now who), and it was Peace, for his trying to very hard to connect Ishy/Leelou/Cloud. It seemed to me that one of them must be mafia, and he was trying to make it so that the two townies would go down when the mafia went down. But considering the mafia shot Leelou N1, and it was especially Leelou and Cloud he tried to connect, that theory falls flat, and so I've placed him in the town box as of page 17 at least. Others I have town feels on are Dap, for starting to push on Cloud early and harder that most; although that one is a bit of a double-edged sword; it could be a gambit considering Cloud was Vengeful killer and so probably the best candidate for an early gambit, considering he would take a townie down with him.

Back with more thoughts when I'm completly finished

No rhyme or reason to those kills.

Bomb thing makes me think it is a delayed role, but not sure it makes a difference unless somebody has a disarm-type role.

That's an interesting thought with Cloud and Dap.  It does make sense - Dap looks good for leading the charge on Cloud, and they get to take out a townie with Cloud's death, as you say.  And they removed a kill that they don't control in the process with picking Despo.

Weird that the "remember remember" is noted here, even though its the 5th of November in the game. The character V would make sense using bombs, but that was Leelou in another thread.

Verbal: Fair point, I kinda skimmed the scene just to see deaths and alignemements. I can't talk about T3.

Ok, here we go. Let's start with suspect number one, Razen. Who was kind enough to give me even more material for my case right now.

To begin with, he has very short posts, without much content. I'll follow up with a post with all his posts in the game after this one if I have time, if not ya'll have to wait until tomorrow (or find them yourself). He votes without giving reasons and generally slides by quite a bit. Then suddenly we come to day 2. Razen gets super-chatty, at least compared to earlier, and makes a whole case on Cloud. Now I think the mafia wanted Cloud to get lynched D2; he had a vengeful killer-role after all, and that is only useful if he does indeed get lynched. So razen jumps on with a case early D2 for some town cred. Now, Des is dead, but I trust his insticts alot when I know he's town, and he was on Razen quite a lot D2. He pointed out that (t the time of that post), Razen had 2 and 3 posts in the other threads, but 8 in this.

Some mess up wih the quotes, but the inner quote is mine and the outer is Razen.

<edited out first half for size>

Others I have town feels on are Dap, for starting to push on Cloud early and harder that most; although that one is a bit of a double-edged sword; it could be a gambit considering Cloud was Vengeful killer and so probably the best candidate for an early gambit, considering he would take a townie down with him.

Back with more thoughts when I'm completly finished

That's an interesting thought with Cloud and Dap.  It does make sense - Dap looks good for leading the charge on Cloud, and they get to take out a townie with Cloud's death, as you say.  And they removed a kill that they don't control in the process with picking Despo.

Then Razen comes in with this gem. I gotta admit my thoughts on Dap was "half serious", in the way that it was an idle thought at the back of my head; it could be a possilibty. But mostly I do have a town feel on him, and I put that out to see who would bite. And lo and behold, Razen did, very eager to jump onto that train of thought. But, not eager enough to place the first vote... Because what I said Dap might have done, is exactly what I thought Razen did at the start of D2. Also, Cloud voted Razen on D2, wich I felt came across as distancing.

Gotcha. Vote Razen

There are others I find suspect too.

Hallia: Floats by D1 with minimal posts and not much thouhts. Actually, she doesn't come with a proper game post until she comments at the start of n1 that Des' hammer was "shoddy". In the meantime Krak comes with a case on Serra (who placed Csarmi at L-2, first vote afters his BPV claim), and Hallia responds to that with "Possibly a scum mate protecting a scum hammer by drawing attention to the person who put Csarmageddon to L-2?" Now we know now that Des was town, but it seems to me she is trying to draw attention away from Serra again, and back over on Krak and Des. That is all the game-related posts I can remember from Hallia. She has 8 posts in this game, even less than me, and my posts counts before today was horrible. It is also half of theamount of posts she has in the other threads. Pretty safe bet for mafia if you ask me.

Now, Serra. I've been very back and forth on him, but I've landed on a slight scum tell. This because of him being the first to vote Csarmi after his BPV claim. Then he slightly defended Cloud about his vote on Yates, D2 after Csarmi's flip he says he's much less convinced about Cloud (distancing?) and he wants to go after Peace (I've already explained why I have a strong town feel on Peace now). And then, after saying he is much less convinced about Cloud, he links Peace and Cloud together. That just doesn't add up.

So yeah, Razen, Hallia, Serra in that order. Others I'm unsure of is Yates, BG, Lenlo and Verb; they've pinged me both ways at different times. The rest is more or less null reads so far.

I did have time. Here's all of Razen's posts. Gotta split it up cause there's a ton of quites inside quotes.

Vote: Cloud.

Unexplained vote on Cloud at the very beginning.

Unvote, vote: Csarmi.

Then switches to Csarmi without reasons.

Salami on pizza is very commong here.

Are you sure you aren't thinking pepperoni?

I've had salami on pizza before

That doesn't sound too appetizing...

Spam

his play has been sorta all over the place, his trap, his lack of proper defence and his ever changing story on why he played the way he did

How has his story changed?

Also, has he been less "all over the place" in any particular thread?

Check my post in the first game where I explained that his story keeps changing.

That's wonderful.  But why do you answer for Chuckles?

Distancing?

Me?

I've been saying for ages that I thought cloud was mafia on this thread

(This is T2 right?)

Yes, this is thread 2.  And that is the same conclusion that I've been drawing.  I'll be back in a bit with quotes.

Being helpful, riding Dap's coattails on Cloud; "oh look someone mentioned him, good timing for me to come with a case".

End part 1

Part 2 is just one GIANT quote....

Vote Yates

For self voting. Ugh.

First up. This one's been beaten to death. But Cloud's vote on Yates is the first one to have a reason behind it. It's evident that everyone else was joking in their votes. Not Cloud.

Pulling up the Yates votes here:

Vote yates

hey

Ok, Yates is a good choice I guess.

Vote Yates

Works for me.

Vote Yates.

vote Yates

Nothing better than a Yates train to get things going.

Who am I to disagree with a wagon of such magnitude?

Vote: Yates

All of these are jokes. Hell, even Yates joins in. But, Cloud is the first to make it serious. He implies that self voting is a scum tell, as that's the justification he uses to vote Yates while everyone else is more or less just having a grand old time.

his play has been sorta all over the place, his trap, his lack of proper defence and his ever changing story on why he played the way he did

How has his story changed?

Also, has he been less "all over the place" in any particular thread?

Check my post in the first game where I explained that his story keeps changing.

That's wonderful. But why do you answer for Chuckles?

I didn't answer for Chuckles. He already gave his own answer to Yates, and after his post I explained that I noticed the same thing.

I'm quoting this one for my own reference. I looked at the timestamps like Chuckles said - they're a minute apart. Chuckles was at 5:16, Cloud at 5:17 (my time, at least). You were probably working on the answers at the same time. So while you're correct in saying that Chuckles did give his own answer, it looks to me like you tried answering that question for him, but were just beaten to it. And trying to put words in Chuckles' mouth. Get where I'm coming from now?

vote Cloud

Early distancing?

... and Nolder fell into my trap already. Now what was the next step?

>I did something dumb therefore it was a trap

Why does everyone use say this? lol

Just admit you did something dumb and save some face

ZOMG but it was the bestest trap eva!

Funny..but doesn't vote Csarmi yet. Still on Cloud

Unvote. Vote Cloud.

Look who follows Leelou without a reason.

Unvote, Vote: Csarmi

Jokes aside, this is actually a really good idea.

HERE WE GO, LYNCH SALAMI, HERE WE GO!!!!!

Sorry, I couldn't help it.

woohoo...

unvote, vote salami

Still watching cloud though...

Votes Csarmi..but pointing at cloud. Early distancing? These two are tied together somehow.

NO BRAKES!

Am I doing it right? :P

So could move my vote back.

More bogus distancing

Vote: Cloud.

No reason to vote Cloud from Razen...2rd person to do this.

Note: This is all just some strange stuff I'd like to see fleshed out.

Quoted because Peace pulls out the early votes from both Leelou and Ishy on Cloud and casts them as early and bogus distancing. What I find interesting is now, Leelou and Ishy are both dead. I don't know if that's coincidental or not, but I do find it interesting that he singled them out and that they're now both dead. He pointed out that Leelou kept coming back to Cloud even though she was in favor of lynching Csarmi. Leelou explains herself better afterwards in why she chose to vote and continued to bring up Cloud:

This is game 2 right?

Cloud has been pretty scummy in this thread. He is one of my top pics

I even quoted him and explaind in my first post. How do you not see clouds scummy?

A couple of things wrong with your statements here. First...All those quotes I made came long before your first post in this thread.

Second...If Leelou is distancing from Cloud that makes him scum right?

He was coming off scummy in this thread, he deserved a vote. I think he's the best bet for scum in this thread.

He had made 1 post when you voted him. He voted Yates for self voting. Not buying your explanation.

He jumped on an easy train and it was the way he did it. Just slipped in going with everyone else.

Looking at the votes, I agree. Cloud took an obvious joke and flipped it completely on its heels by making it into a serious voting point. I'm guessing that Ishy saw that too and followed her. Then Csarmi and the tri-lynch option took over. Which, by the way, Cloud fiercely advocated in thread 3, but didn't really post anything about it in this thread.

Tl;dr. Cloud's vote on Yates turned a joke train into a serious reason for voting - and a weak one at that. Peace pointed out the early Cloud voters, of which 2 of whom are now dead, while he tried painting the Leelou/Cloud interaction as scummates distancing from each other. Well, mostly Leelou distancing from Cloud. Anyway, given what I've seen so far, Vote: Cloud. I'm also not liking Peace for that post where he pushed the Leelou/Cloud as distancing scummates angle.

Spoiler because it's huge. After those 1-sentence posts, suddenly this monster shows up. I think Des also commented that Razen have never really been a player with big WoTs, so it was a bit of a suprise...

Posted

Part 3:

Something else that stuck out to me:

Why would the Csarmi train take off so fast. Did I miss something?

Not much.....just the main event in all 3 threads.......

>_>

That and Yates being a Dillhole.

This is after a lot of people shift over to Csarmi for his comment about the trap. Yet, he places his vote on Yates. Seems like a joke to me. But I find it odd that he had nothing to say about the Csarmi situation at the time. Or at least not in this thread. In fact, at the final vote count, he left that same vote all day.

Official Vote Count FINAL VC:

Yates (1/12): Krak

Cloud (1/12): Ishy

Salami (12/12): Nol, Cloud, Yates, Verb, Leelou, Chuckles, Razen, Dap, Laya, Serra, BG, Des

Dap (1/12): Crush

BG (1/12): Salami

Not Voting (7/23):

Mishh, Hally, Lenlo, Peace, Tiink, Tina, Ree

SCENE INCOMING

Interesting. Ishy explained he wanted nothing to do with the tri-lynch theory, Csarmi's not going to vote himself (yet), and Crusher used mostly the same logic that Ishy did regarding the tri-lynch. But where's Krak in all of this?

Trying to paint a bit of scum on Krak, a player nobody's really paying attention to so far; seems like an attempt to distract town.

It would have to be coincidental that BOTH died - unless you think the scum can talk to the 2nd anti-Town party.

I would agree that it has to be coincidental that they both died. What I'm getting at is the fact that Peace picked them out specifically in his post because they voted Cloud with no reason at the time and cast it as a distancing maneuver. Suddenly, they're dead. I meant it more along the lines of is it coincidental that Peace mentioned them both in his post, calling them out for unexplained votes on Cloud and now they're dead? Or is that the exact reason that they ended up dead?

Of course it's coincidental... The bolded part (Yates bolded it) that in the first quote there is all kinds of weird.

That's an interesting thought with Cloud and Dap. It does make sense - Dap looks good for leading the charge on Cloud, and they get to take out a townie with Cloud's death, as you say. And they removed a kill that they don't control in the process with picking Despo.

Already covered this; he bought my "trap" hook, line and sinker. Probably because it was what he was doing himself, but he saw the opportunity to take another townie down, possibly two, since I could be blamed for it since I brought up the idea first.

No rhyme or reason to those kills.

Bomb thing makes me think it is a delayed role, but not sure it makes a difference unless somebody has a disarm-type role.

Then gently scolding me, after I've warned him I'm building a case on him.

Wait.  You're saying I'm suspicious because I didn't post much on D1.  Didn't you mention somewhere when you were called out that it usually takes you until D2 to get going?  Doesn't make sense to me.  I contributed as much as I could, but this past week's restricted internet hours I did have some constraints.

Now that it is D2 I see that's true;  you make some very good points on Raz.  Raz, what's your thoughts on that case?

I have never denied that I didn't post enough, Hallia. But that's usual for me; doesn't make it ok, but it's a reason.

The difference between you and me is it wasn't just D1, it was N1, D2, N2... But, this is more important, your post count is half in this thread compater to the other two. When I checked, you had 8 posts here, and 16 and 19 in the other two. That smells like trying to lay low and avoid attention. And the only two proper game posts you had, was all trying to paint a person we now know is town scummy.

And it's D3 now, not D2.
