You were wrong - and ridiculous.

If the Cop had said - hang on I've had a view of Cloud and he is Mafia, you would have Lynched me or them to confirm the truth also.

You gave a Mafia a Get out of Lynch Free card. And now you have basically told them that all they have to do do avoid getting Lynched for the rest of this game is claim Doc/Cop and you will not vote them. So a Town will die instead everytime that happens.

If the evidence is there - you grow a pair and go for it. You are a liability if you are so restricted by your Policy.

It's almost like you want our Power Roles to come out into the open.

 

I agree with Ithi here. Perhaps it is the fact that I was able to counter Cloud's case with my VT claim, but regardless. Cloud's play wasn't consistent, and Dap you were unwilling to vote him because of his PR claim. It makes all the sense in the world as a Town player why you wouldn't willing lynch someone that he claimed Doc. Too much sense. That's the problem.

I recognize the inherent WIFOM it creates.  Would you rather me not state things that I think can help because of the risk associated?

Introducing Wifom is not generally the most helpful of things. It creates confusion and uncertainty - and the people who like that the most are the Mafia.

You basically just set me up for a future Lynch, regardless of what just happened and even if I am viewed by the Cop.

Setting up future lynches is also a Mafia thing to do - in my experience.

Agreed. Dap may be playing very (almost too) Town, which I can somewhat forgive given his reasons to withhold from Cloud's lynch... but I don't understand this from you. Yes, I made a joking comment to Ithi about being on the Bus but what are really the odds that Cloud would claim Eve and she would be Eve as well without another CC? Too slim for a mafia gambit IMO.

 

Plus that whole "I think I'm going to die tonight" thing is always WIFOMY no matter what. The only time I can read that and not think about manipulation is when somebody proven town as you can get (i.e. cop, viewed town, etc.) says it. Otherwise there's a whole can of worms out there.

I believe ithi's CC. I did straight away actually. I also get the issue she has with Dap automatically unvoting cause of a doc claim and wanting to vote her. I wouldn't like that either.

 

But I also understand where Dap is coming from. In DM games it is almost a given that you unvote a claimed PR especially if it is cop or doc. In fact people have gotten lynched because they didnt remove their votes fast enough.  

 

I also think vam is a good place to look. He was the original focus of Daps then kinda disappeared when cloud started heating up.

 

Im also keeping an eye on peace. havent quite made up my mind what i think about his comments.

I honestly don't find Peace very suspicious. The defending he had going on was way too obvious. If they were mafia together, he would have to know that he'd get heat the rest of the game for it. I don't see the gain in it. So I put Peace on my town list for now.

Today has been a relatively quiet day for this game. There ain't much to comment about, now. For whatever reasons, most everyone has been relatively inactive in this game today.

I thought this quote was funny too. As I mentioned yesterday, I think Dap's reasoninings were justified and that Peace was fence sitting. Also the quoted post doesn't mean much except Peace has a habit of defending people who are scummy.
