As for Hally's not reading the rules, I can't throw stones there. I don't always read them all the way through, either. I did this time, because we all know DPR is evil, but I don't always. So, for me, that's no tell at all.

I believe that Mafia usually use crappy Meta reasons to justify a vote. I don't think they would really use it as a null tell or 'feels like Town' thing. They would just have to say nothing at this point surely? It is only Day 1 after all.

 

And others have mentioned their thoughts on who feels like Town and who feels like Mafia based on past history without getting voted for it.
