Is it possible that Basel is NOT on the town team? Is that even remotely possible? Is it also a possibility that Basel is lying about the report he got on his viewing of RTE? After all, we are talking about Mafia and the possibility of misdirection and half-truths should always be considered. 

 

So I went back and reread the entire thread, paying attention to Peace's interactions.  I don't know if it's because it's super early and I'm tired, but is it entirely possible that this is one big gambit?  Peace, Darthe, Csarmi, and Basel as scum? There was a lot that stood out through the reread.  *falls down rabbit hole*

If he is the cop and got a bad reading then I don't want to lose him. I've had a bad feeling about Basel all along. You yourself questioned Peace, Basel, Darthe, and CS. Now we know CS was town and Peace was mafia. So I'm looking for a better choice than the cop, if in fact he is. So yes...Basel is as good a place to start. Funny how hard Cloud started pushing for my lynch too after the votes started piling up.
