Csarmi hasn't given any indication that he will reveal who he is targetting beforehand. Until/unless he does, it's totally worthless.

Unvote.

I won't be voting Tiink however. His train is lazy and he is most assuredly Town.

I'd think if he thinks it over he'll decide to reveal who he's targeting at night. there's no use or his role otherwise.

would be sort of suicidal not to?

I don't think tiinks scum either but he's not worth two random mod kills with no reports.

As an aside...

So that's 2 people with scummy reads on me without giving any reasons

And no votes.  Watch the defensive reactions, son, they amplify the pings.

Call it what you want, but accusing me of being scummy with no reasons is just useless, and seems like a way to look like your doing something, when your not

Putting my response in a different post in hopes it's easier to understand.

Ok the black and underlined: Is there someone else you're looking at? So far it seems that you're focused on Darthe but your post talks about securing a lynch on someone else.

Focused on Darthe? I've stated the same opinion over and over and it isn't even in reference to his play, just his reveal. Everyone's focused on me, so hopefully tomorrow you'll be able to see what's what since I'll likely get lynched today.

Are you afraid of finding me backtracking later? I honestly don't get why you guys are so adamant on getting a vote when how I feel is perfectly clear..

I don't care if you voted or not.  I get holding a vote.  But your excuses were weak and gave you tons of wiggle room.  The whole thing seems like you are trying to nudge others on to Darthe without committing your self.

Without committing?? My opinion was pretty straight and clear. He's not necessarily scummy to me yet but his lynch would be an acceptable one. Why? Because according to him it'd be a vanilla or a mafia. If he's a power role I'm counting on him revealing that before he get's lynched, wouldn't you?? I'm not advocating his lynch, and I'm not pushing for it. YET. Because we still have time to look for a better candidate. If you understand that and yet want to lynch me anyway then so be it.

You call that committing I call it fence sitting. It doesnt matter how straight or clear you think your opinion is when you dont back it up with a vote, something that everyone can see because its bright red and bolded.

Misunderstanding. When Dap said PR I thought he meant mod told, not power role. My bad, I was just trying to reply quickly because it was late and I had something to do. I said that Darthe has said he's a vanilla. If it comes down to it and we're not able to safely lynch anyone then I'd rather vote him because he hasn't done much to prove he's town which is why I'm comfortable with the risk of lynching either vanilla or mafia. If he's got a power role and doesn't reveal when his head is on the chopping block then why would I take credit for that? He should've revealed then.

I dont buy this. To me this sounds like a scrape to get by when he was caught in contradictions.

Vote Tiink

Probably the most BS reasoning for voting me yet. It's like you're doing your best to miss the point. What's our chances of catching scum on Day 1? If we've got nothing by the end of the day, lynching Darthe would be the most logical conclusion. He's not confirmed in any way, and claims vanilla. We won't lose a power role and we could net a scum at the risk of losing a roleless town. Not a bad risk is it if we're not going to get anything else to go off?

Yes, you're totally right I got caught up in my own contradictions.

"I didn't consider him having a PR because I've never played a game where anyone has ever had to announce upfront D1 that they're a vanilla town. If that's the case and we lynch him then shit, TIL

That's what I replied to dap. "anyone has ever had to announce upfront D1 that they're a vanilla town." How on earth does that refer to power roles and not post restrictions?

Like I said, the most BS reasoning for voting me yet.

Len, replying to Tiink:

You call that committing I call it fence sitting. It doesnt matter how straight or clear you think your opinion is when you dont back it up with a vote, something that everyone can see because its bright red and bolded.
This. Pretty much what I have been thinking since I voted him.

See above. It's not that I'm waiting for everyone to vote for him and then happily sneak on the lynch train, though I get why you'd see it that way if we hadn't been discussing it for the past several pages. It's like you refuse to see the opposite side of the argument and just cement on one opinion.

lol?

no, not joking, asking about two consecutive posts, one saying you're counting on him to reveal before he gets lynched if he's a power role, and the next saying you never considered him to be a power role. that's a bit of a contradiction.

the rest makes sense to me, sorry if its silly to you.

if you think he's vanilla .... don't know why you'd want to lynch him, particularly. maybe not a big deal but... if you think he's mafia OK, I still don't see a real reason to think that particularly but D1 so... maybe you just want the WIFOM to go away?

if you think he may be a PR though... which one of your posts concedes and the subsequent one denies... you want to push him to reveal? as he's claimed vanilla and given as one of his reasons that it locks him into that claim and doesn't give him room to make any other believable claim... may or may not be the case, I've seen ppl change claims but...

anyway, something doesn't make sense to me there.

lol?

trying to format this, not playing with code anymore, I can't get the quotes right, I'll italicize what I just typed.

I also agree with Cindy here. Tiink has been very contradicting so far and seems to be flailing around right now. It looks to me like he is making mistakes and is trying his best to cover them up, but it isn't really working.

Hidden triggers, that makes things very interesting - anyone played anything like this before?

I'm sure we're all making an effort to make our posts and quotes clear, might slow down the game a little but we just have to pay a bit more attention when reading I suppose.

I don't like the possibilty of leaving Darthe in the lead to be lynched close to deadline, then he reveals something else, no lynch on Darthe, no lynch on anyone else either cos we are all focusing on this one interaction, and we loose two town to a random instead (if I was reading that mod post right).

Like Hallia already mentioned, we also had hidden triggers in the Indiana Jones game. I'm guessing that they will work in a similar way as in the previous game?

?

are the bold self contradictory?

and... you're pushing for a reveal on someone you think has a PR or calling his bluff assuming he's lying and is mafia or going with the policy lynch?

I was following for a while, I missed something, sorry.

Your misunderstanding of the term PR aside, you are saying that Darthe hasn't done much to prove he's town. He has given plenty of good reasons why he revealed so early, and they convinced me that he actually made a good move instead of a bad one. He has kickstarted the game with his reveal alone. Like I asked in my previous post, if Darthe was about to get lynched , and he would claim a PR saying that he was fake claiming Vanilla for whatever reason would you believe him then? If you would believe him then, then I see no reason why you have a vote on him right now. The bolded: You should take credit for it because you have been pushing for a possible secondary reveal, using it as a reason in your vote against him, but I only see it as you trying to get him lynched. I don't suppose you can back of now though.

Vote Tiinker, I have the best scum read on him so far.

Please point out my other contradictions. Where does your scum read come from exactly? That you think my opinion wouldn't change if someone fake claiming vanilla claimed another role is telling of your own ideas. To your bolded - I do NOT have a vote on him. He has kickstarted the game to what value? Anyone could have started the game flowing why would that make them more town? Your scum reads are pretty damn null.

Vote Lenlo

BS is BS.

I honestly think this was a pretty good defense, and I agree with his point.  Lenlo and Vam are the ones whose votes concern me most at the moment.  Unfortunately, I doubt we have time left to lynch anyone but Tiinker with how many are required to lynch and how little time remains.

As Cindy pointed out, it's not worth a random/no coroner with two players lost.

If I vote Tiink it will be solely to avoid the random.

Tone down the accusations, dear.  I can't speak for what Tina was thinking, but sometimes a gut ping is a gut ping.  If I were to go back and vote, I'd give reasons.  Defensiveness would be a reason, if I were to decide to vote you later.

Hider sounds like a great and cool role.  Never heard of that one.  Pretty easy to play as long as the DOC stays hidden.  Csarmi announces his target. Doc plays wifom on whether to protect that player or not.  Csarmi is around the next day that player is town.  Csarmi dies that night along with a second town player indicating a NK then the player named is scum.  Trade one town for one scum is a good trade..plus he can vet a few.

There are so many of your posts that are scummy it's getting ridiculous the number of them.  I'll run it down for you day 2.

I'm vanilla townie. I can take the lynch, it'll be a good start.

OR we can do the even smarter thing and lynch Lenlo. We got 2 hours gogogogo

I think csarmi pushed a lynch on someone he thinks ... knows? isn't scum. not sure but I'm just fence sitting now.

vote csarmi

No I didn't. I pushed for lynching someone for a bad mistake. If you don't understand why claiming vanilla at start of the day with no pressure is anti-town, I can't help you.

I have also put my vote where my mouth was.

It saddens me that you are likely being honest about your PR because of things like this.  /wishuknewhowtoplay

Lol Lenlo, with no votes on him and two hours to go?  Where did that come from?

Because I think he's scum and with two hours to go it was obviously a joke.

A lynch has been achieved! Scene incoming.

The day had been the worst in your life. You'd been walking around most of the day. It seemed like no matter how far you went, there was other tributes around you. Several times you'd been forced to run for your life, when the other tributes got too close.

Now the light is failing, and you're looking for a place to sleep. The backpack you managed to grab at the Cornocupia contained a package of dry food, a knife, a water bottle, and a rope. You had found a good pine tree, that you'd climbed up as high as you got, and then tied yourself to the trunk. Hopefully you were invisible from the ground. You close your eyes, drifting slowly into sleep...

A sound jolts you awake. What was it? You strain your ears. There it was again. Running feet. In a gap in the branches you can see a person running down a slope opposite you. It looks like the boy from District 9. He's screaming while he's running, stumbling down the slope. And after him... Came a big group of tributes, one of the alliances that had been formed. They caught up to him, jumping on him and stabbing him with whatever weapon they had. Some carried rocks or branches, others knives.

Soon, the only sound that you could hear, was the wind in the treetops. The boy would never scream, or breathe, ever again. Then the cannon booms, and the boy's face lit up the night sky. The first person had died. The first day was over. How many days would you be able to survive?

Tiink, vanilla, Boy from District 9, has been lynched.
