The two things that stick out are the aforementioned Darthe by the Ape, and peacesells.  Peace was rather aggressively defending Ishy as town based off meta...which is odd for D1.  Here's Darthe's posts (I know Ape posted that Darthe sidestepped everything, but I didn't see these quoted)

I've stayed objective, don't worry. I course-corrected my play style a number of games back where I stopped letting myself get caught up in trying to win the argument (which created a situation where I would have blinders on) vs. remaining objective (which I am able to do, with great consistency now). 

 

I do sincerely think he has been locking onto cheap reasons for putting heat on people: voted nolder and said it's always a good thing to do, no real reason; called crusher on the carpet for rule breaking in a context where he inferred it was suspicious and needed to be dealt with; voted me and refused to do otherwise because I messed up his name. 

 

None of his position in all 3 situations rings of town play to me. 

 

That said, I do see the angle you present as well, and it's not lost on me that the guy could just really, really suck. Hence me taking the opportunity to push my suspicion on him to create the first polarizing moment in the game = which always results in information to be used later, and to completely lambaste him for making Crusher want to bail on the game.

I'd like to make something very clear. If I have a serious complaint vs. someone, I go to the mods.

I'm not sure whatever gave you the idea that I would like Crusher bail out of the game or that I would want someone to be modkilled.

 

Maybe that's something you would do? Just the fact that you have ideas like that, that you would think someone would do such thing disgusts me.

Charmie is behaving the same way in the game that Crusher made his mistake.  So, seems more like a personal flaw than a tell.  He voted me for supposedly lying in the other game.  Go figure that.  Lying in mafia...what a shock.

Crusher is the most stand-up guy I've ever encountered in a forum, and lives his life for his family. When he gets online after drinking a little Maker's it's usually gold, comedy gold. Him voting in the wrong thread is classic. You ruined it.

From what ive seen of the whole Ape and Csarmi thing, I think they are both town. One barking and screaming up the wrong tree, the other stammering and getting pissy up in the tree.

 

Csarmi came off as a pressured townie to me in that whole thing. He started to get flustered during it and seemed actually peeved.

 

Ape came off as leaning town because while he may have been barking up the wrong tree, he gave us insight into abunch of people and garnered alot of reactions. I think scum woulda kept pushing Csarmi waiting for him to get even more flustered and botch something, getting himself lynched. What Ape did was he got us good bunch of info for a couple page fight with someone.

 

Also I dont like what Darthes been doing. Ive never seen him play this way and hes acting like an ass who isnt actually playing this game at the game much at this point. Its very very odd.

This is completely out of the game right now, but something I've noticed. You've got to give up attacking everyone who spells your name wrong. It has nothing to do with the game most of the time.It's normally an accident. People are on phones, things autocorrect, people are dyslexic, any numerous reason. People get mine wrong all the time. Make a slight joke about it, move on. If it bugs you that much, politely PM the person and work it out. Dragging it into the game and lynching someone for getting your name wrong is against the spirit of the game. 

 

 

Back to the game. Ape loves to beat the grass and scum hunt, it's what he does. Right now, you are looking rather scummy. I'm still far too tired/worried about a RL situation to vote, but I am watching the game. I'm hoping to be back a bit more full swing this afternoon.

 

First paragraph. Totally agreed. EXCEPT, don't go PMing people every time someone spells your damn name wrong. It isn't one of the easier Handles to spell around here. I "get mad" when people spell my handle with two Ns, but I don't really care. 

If you care so much that people spell it wrong, go PM the Admins and have them change it to Angel Bob or something. 

 

Second paragraph:  Someone mentioned this is your MO, but I don't like it. I don't think I've played with you, but fence sitting is fence sitting.

As for the whole Czar situation, I'm getting a townie feel from the getting upset over his name (full thoughts on that above), and while Ape (John McClane is Ape? Stupid new people making me learn new names) has a point that he in no way has defended the rest of his case, I think he's just playing poorly. 

 

Don't really have a feel for Ape, yet, though.
