The point of the game is to be social. The nature of the game is to decipher who is lying and who isn't. All you are doing is acting like a hall monitor. Crusher is someone I've known for years, dude is a great, great guy. You should drive him away though.

I think you are mistaking being social for being insulting. This is a game. In a game everything goes, but you are throwing personal insults at me which is going too far. I don't think I did the same to anyone, but correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't give a flying fart about your butthurt or ego, the game is the game. I respect the rules, always, but also respect the moderators to enforce them. We don't need some in-game ass-kisser trying to get people modkilled by pointing out every minor rule infraction. Most moderators let innocent shit slide, because modkilling should be a last resort, as they've taken time to design the game a certain way and mod intervention immediately shifts balance.

 

I supposed you'll probably say you weren't trying to get him modkilled, then what were you trying to do? Paint him as scummy for breaking rules? How do those rules he OH SO FRAGRANTLY broke align to a scum agenda? They don't. So what was the point of you bringing them up? Let the mods do their job, all you did was derail the damn game. Also, the red is one of my favorite scum tells and myths to debunk. It is often a fall-back for scum to say this when they've stuck their necks out too far.

 

As for Crusher drunk voting, there is absolutely nothing about what he did that made the game less fair. He case a vote, his level of intoxication is irrelevant. I'd take a completely inebriated Crusher every day of the week over you. What makes the game unfair is when scum appeals to the mod to get them to modkill townies over minor infractions that should be laughed off, thus giving scum an additional kill. That is unfair.

1. Player A throwing rules at Player B, infers that player A wants the mod to take action. It doesn't matter who "said" modkill first, ultimately your actions lead to an agenda rooted in asking for a modkill. Otherwise, they were just stupid, petty actions. You aren't playing anyone.

Because I am in fact scum hunting. 5. Insults absolutely are a staple of mafia. I edited my word choice to make it more G-rated, but I stand by my tactics for unhinging you. It's part of the game. Thin-skinned cry babies don't belong. This is game play 101 you uppity baby, deal with it.

The summary of my case on this guy is that he tried to leverage a rule break to put heat on Crusher, or infer the mod should take action against Crusher. And when given the choice of defending my case on his motives, he chose to spiral the game into discussion of insults. Town player probably would have wanted to set the record straight on his motives, not blubber about his hurt feelings. IMO

 

He also lied about what my insults were, implying he saw them originally when he clearly did not, and choosing not to quote what he was referring to so as not to be called out on lying about perhaps. 

 

He also pivoted his own position from "won't stop until I'm dead, because I called him by wrong name" to now apparently counter-casing me because I insulted him.

 

He's squirming to debate everything, but avoiding addressing the one key thing, which is my case on him. Why throw rules in Crusher's face and trying to sell Crusher accidentally posting in the wrong game as scummy? and/or inferring that the mod should do something about all the rules being broken that he feels compelled to point out. If you didn't bring up the rules as a means of targeting a player, then why bring them up at all? Has to be agenda-driven, imo.

This is completely out of the game right now, but something I've noticed. You've got to give up attacking everyone who spells your name wrong. It has nothing to do with the game most of the time.It's normally an accident. People are on phones, things autocorrect, people are dyslexic, any numerous reason. People get mine wrong all the time. Make a slight joke about it, move on. If it bugs you that much, politely PM the person and work it out. Dragging it into the game and lynching someone for getting your name wrong is against the spirit of the game.
