Now we know why they say not to judge a book by its cover.

That's the only one that my family will make fun of me for reading, so I remove the cover while I read it.

I always remove dust jackets when reading books. Unless it is from the library and they taped it on that is. Dust jackets can look pretty sitting on the shelf, but they are a general nuicence otherwise.

I use them as bookmarks generally, with exception for this one book.

i always thought it was rand and eqwene, but now i realize that doesnt make sense. I'm guessing it's rand and one of the sisters that captured him.

Min doesn't have light reddish hair, and wouldn't have the AS cloak. Egwene doesn't have red hair. Elayne and Avhienda were nowhere near Rand/Dumais Wells, they were in Salidar/Ebou Dar.

I think it's just a random Aes Sedai or a really bad and dumb intrepretation of Min.

But who knows, with Sweet. It could be Harriet and RJ.

I really don't know what they are going for with DK Sweet's interpretations. I mean, the colors are interesting, I suppose. The lighting is alright. The major problem is the proportions and of course, the interpretation. Half the time, you're sitting there thinking, Who the hel is that supposed to be?

I think TOR should have been open to hiring other artists for the books, years ago. The cover does mean a lot to the promotion of the book.

I remember picking up Lord of Chaos the day it came out, all excited because it's a new book, but then I really looked at the cover when I sat down to read it and I was like, Oh.............KAAAY. What's with the shirt and the Aes Sedai in the foreground being all B-movie acting-like?

I guess I thought it was not too bad in the end because it indicated that there would be a battle in the book involving Aes Sedai, Which kicked a$s btw.
