The Camp

Note: the times mentioned is the maximum time limit we set, if a mission or battle is finished earlier and we are ready to move on we will.

This camp will be 3 wot weeks and therefor have room for 5-6 contestant, it will take place in Tar Valon.

The contestants will only talk to other contestants about the game during the duration of the game, contestants that loose a combat are allowed to talk to others but not reveal any information they gained through talking privately with other contestants that they have not already revealed in the good bye note.

 

 

 

Summary of game

1. Mission is given

2. Mission is solved - everyone get a missioncard which can be used against buying a sword (cost=3cards), and the Commander get a sword.

or

2. The week ends without the mission being solved, no rewards are handed out.

3. Battleperiod start

- Comander pick the first battlecontestant among the players

- Battlecontestant nr 1 pick who they want to go to battle with

- Battlecontestant nr 2 choose which subject they will battle in

- The looser of the battle pick next weeks Commander

4. Begining of new week - a letter from the one who lost the battle where the new weeks Commander is revealed is given to the players

5. We start over at point 1

 

The first weeks Commander is given by vote, at the end of the game, the remaining players go to the finale battle where there are questions from all the subjects.

The winner is the player which first makes it to 15 swords in the finale, or have the most swords at the end of the finale.

 

Extended explanation

The players and the treads

There are no teams in this game, it will be run on the consept of reality game, so the tactics are entirely up to the participants They can work together, or not, they can plot among themselves privately, or together where the public can see on the mission tread. This means its possible just like in mafia to "lie" and to throw in false leads to try and sabotage a mission. If the group fails at a weeks mission they still move on, they just dont get the reward for that week, and the Commander do not get a finale sword (see explanation further down).

 

Rolles in the game

 

Commander

Week one at start up the contestant pick their commander by voting, in the remaining weeks the commander is picked by the dischargee.

 

Combatant - are picked among the contestants, the Commander can not be picked.

#1 is picked at end of mission by the Commander

#2 is picked by combatant 1

 

How the game goes

 

Each week the camp contenders get a mission, the commander gives out the jobs and they cooperate to get it done, if they get the mission done there is a rewardcard for everyone, and the commander get a finale sword. The finale sword is personal and can not be passed on, so it can only be used if the person who won it reach the finale. Rewardcards can be transfered between games, swords can not, 3 cards can buy a sword, you can only buy a sword before the end of a gameweek, and only one sword a week.

 

At the end of the week the commander also pick combatant number 1, which again pick combatant number 2, which at last pick the subject for them to combat in.

 

The Combat

The looser of a combat get discharged.

 

The subject of the combat are

- famous persons of the land

- customs and tradition

- geography

- battle and swordsmanship

- The one power and related artifacts

- History

 

 

The combats will happen in chat using the private chat function, the contestants must be on frequent enough to be able to hook up with one of the game runners during the combat days if they are draw to combat, there will be a time limit of 30 seconds to answer questions within, and you have to answer one question to get the next. If both combatants have the same amount of right answers, then time will be the counting factor.

 

Time in game

We will run on wheel of time weeks of 10 days, the contestants have 5 days to finish a mission,

 

At day 6

- the commander pick combatant number 1

- combatant number 1 pick combatant number 2

- combatant number 2 pick the subject

 

within the next 3 days the combatants have to meet up with the game runners when they are ready to answer questions, they are allowed to take some study time, but not finding time for combat with one of the game runers will be a forfit if the other combatant do meet up, if neither meet up a dice will be thrown to descide who will be the dischargee

 

At day 10 the dischargee write and deliver their good bye note where within they also assign the new commander.

 

 

Finale

The finale is basically an extended combat, where for each question rigth you get a sword, the one with the most swords at the end of the finale, or the first one to 15 swords wins.

Well *points to last sentance*, or to try and explain it in other words, imagine at the begining of the finale you get handed 15 empty sheets, you got to fill them, if you earned any swords earlier in the game you got a headstart. Otherwise you get a sword for each question you got right.

 

The one to first fill all their sheets, or has the most sheets filled by the end of the finale, wins.
