No worries. I'm very hesitant about this because I really don't want to screw it up for my other town players.

Hrmmm. Wayll.... we don't know for sure btw that Tina was RB'ed the night she was killed. She was an even night vig, which means she couldn't submit a kill that night. She still may have been RB'ed, but the lack of a death doesn't prove that.

 

But being that Peace wasn't RB'ed, and mafia didn't try to kill him by first RB'ing you, tells me they prob did RB Tina and kill her just to be safe.

 

That swings me back closer to voting Mish.

Okay, so here are my other thoughts on why Mish/Rand are mafia.

 

Mish is mafia because we know mafia has a RBer. Tina mentioned that she sent in a night kill and was blocked. She then stated she sent it in on Mish. From the above quotes you see that the next night she said she would send in another NK, maybe on Despo, maybe not. This time Tina was role blocked and killed. During this second possible NK, Rand had no reason to think Tina might target him so if Rand were mafia he would not RB. Mish, however, had reason to be worried and therefore would definitely RB Tina, thus saving herself as she was a likely NK candidate.

 

Rand is mafia because he purposely confuses the roles. Rand points out over and over again how he knows the source material after reading it two years ago. Throughout the game he consistently asks for other peoples claims, never giving his own. Mish claims a Dr. Murry who is a he. Now, if Rand really were Dr. Alex Murry he would have immediately spotted it and jumped on it, letting everyone know Mish's claim was fake. Instead he waits for a page, calling Mish's character Mrs. Murry, and then finally claims that role and try to push a lynch on Mish.

 

I claimed in my next post, I wanted Mish to claim first since she was under more scrutiny, if I was under more scrutiny, i would have claimed first. Also, the gender mess up was just due to me reading fast.

The problem is there is some wifom associated with mafia choosing to kill and most likely RB Tina that night; Tina had already stated that she tried to kill Mish, and she had been hinting that she would try and kill me. Mafia could have easily killed her to make both me and Mish look bad, and them getting town to mislynch might have seemed worth the risk of letting Peace get another viewing on one of them. They then could have also RB'ed her in case she ended up submitting a kill on one of them anyways.

 

There's something else I keep thinking about. Kae asked to be replaced, and was kind of acting obviously scummy before that, which was most likely why Darthe was trying to bus or distance from her day 2 (so was Rand btw, and both of them unvoted when Lenlo came in and said the same thing about letting him play and judging him later). WBK also ended up needing to get replaced.

 

So here's the thing. Darthe was much less active this game than others where I have seen him as mafia, and he even said at one point that he was considering asking for a replacement. He made it seem like he was frustrated at the time because of the lack of general activity, but perhaps he was legitimately frustrated because he had one teammate who got herself in the spotlight and then asked for a replacement, and another teammate that was new and not very active (WBK, who Mish later replaced).

 

Starting audit btw, I wanna hear from Mish later as well.

True, you did claim in your next post. It did take a couple posts for the double claim to come out though which is more of what I was pointing at.

I bolded it, but this WIFOM is exactly what I am running in circles about. I think my decision will be based mostly on the Tina kill.

 

The night Tina was killed it left me, Darthe, Peace, Mish, Rand, and Despo. Basically a two confirmed town power roles, two mafia, and two vanilla town. The question then becomes why kill Tina first instead of Peace? In short, mafia would need a mislynch to win during the next two days. My two scenarios around the Tina kill remain:

 

A) Mish is mafia then a Tina kill that night puts mafia at a distinct disadvantage, especially because Peace had previously stated he was suspicious of both Darthe and Tina, making Darthe a likely investigative target. In other words, rather than let both mafia get killed at least be sure to protect one.

 

B) Rand is mafia then the question becomes odds of a lynch. Basically Rand (and Darthe at the time of Tina's kill) would have to steer town to mislynch either Despo or Mish for mafia to win, so if you play the odds then this puts a 1/3 chance on a mislynch whereas if Mish is NK'd then it only comes down to Despo or Rand, a 50/50 chance.

When this day start, I thought Des was the one who was lying. It actually didn't cross my mind that Rand was mafia before the claimed the same role as me. That was also why I looked up wiki's, because when he started referring to my character as Mrs. Murry I got sincerely confused.

 

Tina. My guess is mafia killed her to do exactly what's happening now; casting suspicion on me since everyone knew she was after me.

 

I don't know what more to say now honestly. Wish this activity happened yesterday when I was in thinking shape.

Oh, yes.  Right.  Scene.

You were nervous.  Everything would hinge on this decision.

You had started this quest to rescue Dr. Murry with a full complement of companions.  But Mrs. Who, Mrs. Which and Mrs. Whatsit, with all their wisdom, were taken from you.  Calvin and Meg and The Happy Medium had all been killed.

Still, you had found Dr. Murry and were ready to take him home, when suddenly you were faced with a dilemma.  Two people were now claiming to be Dr. Murry. You must identify the impostor in your midst, or evil may very well triumph.

Aunt Beast took Charles Wallace into its arms as they looked from one Dr. Murry to the other, trying to decide which was truly Charles Wallace's father.  Finally, with trepidation, they moved to stand beside Rand, and turned to confront Mish.

There was darkness and cold, and a terrible discordant screech as you reached to take her arms.  The struggle seemed to be eternal.  The more you fought, the more anger you showed, the stronger she became.

The answer came from something Mrs. Which had said before she was taken from you.  "Remember this," she had told you. "You have something that IT - and the evil that controls IT - does not."

Anger would not defeat the evil.  But love would overcome.
