*facepalm* Well, DUH, of COURSE there is one more mafia. The Largo family was 4 members, after all. The dad is still left. God, I'm an idiot. That's probably a Godfather. God, I cannot believe any of us that has actually seen the movie didn't think about that.

 

I have not seen it so I didn't even think about it haha.

There has been a bit of an unforeseen complication. Please be patient while the mods work on an issue that arose during the night phase and must be resolved for D7.

Mish was happy with her life. She had, after all, gotten a compete makeover from GeneCo. All she had originally gone in for was a kidney, why not upgrade? With all the deaths that had been going on Mish was happy her surgeries were paid in full.

 

As she was on her way home from the opera she heard a noise. Being a concerned citizen she decided to check it out. Although she couldn't make out who she could hear voices. She moved a little closer. It was Rotti talking to someone about a take over of the town! He planned on wiping out all who opposed him. She had to tell someone, but who?

 

Mish snuck quietly away and make her way back home. "At least I made it home," she thought. "Who do I tell?" She went in the kitchen for the phone & found Rotti instead. Before she had a chance to react Rotti NA's sure she wouldn't tell a soul.

Ok, so this has got to be Lylo. Nolder has swapped with peace for some reason, even if peace does have a role, it isn't going to help us. I'm going to wait until peace gets here before voting though.

Um dice I did answer, I fully agree that you might be vanilla town, I'm just saying that the probability for you is the highest we have. And any reason for voting a claimed proven jailkeeper?

I still disagree with your probability argument. As long as there is no third party, and I believe that we destroyed that with John Snow, then even with the most pressing psychological evidence, without a cop reading on someone it still boils down to 50/50. I don't like Rand continuing to push so hard on Dice, nor the fact that he didn't give any credit to my arguments, brushing them off with a 'dice is our best hope'. You're not counter-claimed because it is very possible that your role does not exist in this basic game, and therefore there can be no refuting it.

Oh shoot. That means we have Nol left as the doc. We didn't have any other claimed power roles, did we? I'm going to have to take a good look at Rand's lynching, providing I don't get NK'd.

Either we have Mish, Rand and Nolder all working together in an all-too-obvious scum trio, which seems both stupid and very unlikely, or Random is desperately trying to dig himself out of a hole that he dug for himself. Darthe, you said that you always thought Random was scum. I don't recall you having cased him at all. Or posted a hell of a lot. But my memory stinks, you may have just slipped under the radar. Also, John Snow appeared just at the right moment to vote Random without making any kind of case for himself.

There's enough shady behaviour on Random's part for me to vote Random, but I think I see some other shifty behaviour going on, might be mafia pouncing on a dying friend.

I didn't realise I dropped the lynch. From what I remember, you jumped on that train AFTER the hammer dropped. But, personally, I think that Nolder was mafia, and that peace is just trying to keep up Nolder's pretence. Vote peace.

My role is vanilla town. Mish said, more than once that she thought Nolder (peace) might have been fake claiming. Her reasoning was that Rand's role was practically the doc but a little better. Unless the mafia team had a few power roles then having effectively two docs does seem like overkill. We know that Ishmael Forsaken had a mafia power role, he never got a chance to use it as he died night 1. The town cop also died night one. Unless Rand's jailkeeper was to balance out Ishy's role, and simply combining the doc and roleblocker could have countered that, then having a doc is pretty much superfluos. Balancing-wise, I don't know how a serial killer fits in. They have killing abilities, and they need to beat both mafia and townies, so I don't know how that fits.

I wanted to hear Starry's opinion because it did sort of resonate with me. I've had some time to look over the game again and some some things that gave me some insight. Fist off...Starrys comment about the number of power roles above. If both rand and nolder/peace had town power roles, the power roles would be a little heavy on the town side. The biggest thing though that pinged me though was this.

 

I'm here. I'm the DOC. So..it's between you two. Start convincing me.

 

This is blatantly forcing me and starry to go at each others throats and rings as scummy to me.
