"Inspector Lynley" series by Elizabeth George. (Do yourself a favor and read these from the beginning! The first is "A Great Deliverance".) If you like mysteries at all, you will love this author.

I've read the Foundation trilogy, but not the others.

Personally, I don't care for the Foundation series--I like Asimov's I, Robot and his Caves of Steel series much better

Yes, I DO have an iPad, and lots of eBooks, including all but two of the WOT series - two were on sale in paperback, but I like my eBooks better!
