I probably could've checked in if I wanted to, but with how DM mafia goes, the active players go after the active players and I wanted to let the pot stew for a little bit and see if the quiet ones would come out of the wood work and do more than just follow what everyone else was saying.

What a fascinating answer. Can't you answer straight-forward AJ? Actually, you do not have to. I am in school as a psychologist as some of you know and here is a little lesson for you: when people are called on a lie and they doublespeak (Ie: yes then no) the first answer is the honest one in a little over half the instances presented. People also have a slight tendency to dwell on the topics that relate more to themselves as I am sure many of you have noticed in life. Notice, I asked alanna about her status in relationship to the town and she responded in relationship to the mafia. I believe this warrants more attention.

 

Also, Basel.. Try harder?

This isn’t always the case and I’d like to know what out of her gameplay caused you to target her.

This is a rather safe way to be visible without voting.

Lots of back and forth with Basel and Darthe and AJ.

Darthe is still relying heavily on his psychology and Marsh showing up after he was mentioned by Darthe. Ok, I mentioned Marsh being gone yesterday around 7, then you brought it up today around 11/2, and he posted nearly an hour after that. That one really holds no water in my opinion

Hello Rand, any other thoughts about what’s going on? (Btw..... If BG and Mynd are both playing they have a tendency to fuse in my head :P I know I had a couple of others but I took a bit of a break from mafia and forget now).

Right now I’m good with keeping my vote on Basel because he never responded to what I said before, has been throwing other theories out and trying to link things and he kinda seemed to be flailing to me a couple of times.

I also am not a fan of Darthe at the moment. I would like to see the major issues of the game being discussed rather than tunnelvision on some side topic. Catching someone else acting scummy is fine, but also address other things.

Song still seems like a candidate to me because yesterday still was overblown and today she hasn’t done much to clear herself besides reveal when she only had a handful of votes (correct me if I’m wrong on that one--didn’t double check that). In addition, vanilla town is a very safe claim because it is the most common. So could be true but doesn’t clear her.

Nol, Rand and AJ have had little pings--I’m getting mixed signals from the latter two.

I have no read on Tina, Marsh or Peace #2 yet.

So... I still think my vote is good and I'm sticking with it until I’m certain of a reason to switch

Well, AH, when you say I never responded, do you mean the bit where you called me out for casing Red? Who turned out to be scum? And then you say I am flailing. "Flailing" always strikes me as the catch-all for when a player can't come up with a legit case on someone but still wants to sound like they have something to throw at them. As for my throwing theories out... it's called scumhunting. I've been using reasoning and logic to try and figure out who is scum, and theories are trying to work my way through the layers of WIFOM I'm sure are laying around here somewhere.

I'm putting most of my efforts in other games atm and I haven't really caught my stride here yet

I'm not asking for someone to just say "vote soandso" and I'll mindlessly follow

But I would definitely appreciate if someone could present a case TO me and make it a little easier on me

All this talk of people "buddying up" is giving me visions of my words in the scum QT of I think the Star Wars game, something along the lines of "I'm going down but I'm taking one of them with me!" I'm thinking that the scum are trying to get a little insurance in that if they die, somebody else will be irrevocably linked with them and end up getting lynched the next day. Which makes me a little less suspicious of Song, but I still don't like how she reacted to the pressure from Rand.

I agree with AH´s thoughts about Basel.

 

I also think Song is over reacting way too much. Song - if you are town - the scums work is to make you look scummy, you know that. If you are scum, then I don´t like the emo defence.

 

Nolder is still don´t doing anything. Don´t sign up for more games than you can play.

 

I agree that Darthe´s question was weird and I can see why AJ choose to answer that way. That question would have been interesting if there was a lie detector in the game but this is a basic game and that is not a basic role.

 

I have no idea about Peace. Iza played scummy.
