Nothing I have seen has in my opinion crossed the line. There has been some skirting of that line, and I advise caution. Mafia is not a game for thin skinned people, especially not advanced games with agressive people.

Now, out of all of these, I am most led to vote for Mynd, because, well, Mynd, you are pinging me, and in a different way from normal.

This is pure bullshanks. You start off your post with "um...mynd you are acting very un-mynd like then blah blah blah and vote me. Let's be honest, you are still sore about how you failed in a previous game of ours and let the mafia win. I called you out on that and now you see an opportunity to get me lynched. Also, I think Nyn is a good way to go, but I am voting her because I am town and this places her tied with me.

This is the line I was looking for, Nyn actually followed through with your math idea and the only reason you're voting her is because it tied her up with you. I actually have to agree with Chrissy on this considering later posts from you as well. Normally when you see a plan or test not working you vote people who jumped on the train you tried to build and that's the reason you give for voting them. Your reason for Voting Nyn is weak, you appeart to be flailing about with the number of votes on you increasing all and all this entire game you have not been yourself.

Christine, you continue to say I'm acting scummy, but fail to say how or why. You can call me scummy all day long, but you have nothing to base it on. The venom in your original vote led me to conclude that since you presented nothing to back it up it had to be based on emotion.

My theory was just that a theory. I admitted at the beginning that it was just a theory. Even I wasn't 100% sure that it was sound.

I will flip town. You all should notice how quickly this lynch is building up on me. Afterward, people will say "Well, he deserved it because he was scummy" but they won't say specifically why. It is there way of lynching a town player and then wiping their hands clean of it.

That wasn't me. Personally I think you are good for the game as you are an interesting player and food at hunting scum however it looks like you outed yourself with your "theory" and didn't make the list you said should be made. A list that would include you.

My vote on Nyn is 90% defensive since she is the only other train.

My vote on EP was simply playing the odds. It had nothing initially to do with anything he had done in this game. Since then, I notices a severe backlash in voting him which suggests to me that he could be scum.

If I am to be the first one lynched, then I owe it to the town to clear up my motivation so that the mafia cannot simply shrug and say "well, he got himself lynched its not our fault"

I was suggesting we each make a list. EACH of us. I wasn't trying to hide myself at all. When I ultimately landed on EP as my choice it was based on my own deduction of who hasn't been mafia and who has. I could have gone with a different sorting, but that's where I stuck with. I wouldn't include myself on my own list as I had stated in my original post because I know that I am town. I would expect each of us to do the same, in that we each eliminate ourselves from the list of possible scum because we each know our own alignment.

Nolder - He freely admits that he refuses to take his vote off me for any reason. This implies that even if I revealed as the finder or healer and was uncontested in my claim, he still would vote for me. Does this sound like the logic of a scum-hunter? This occurred after Levity dropped out.

Basel - He disagrees with my logic and therefore I must be scum because he disagrees with me. Does this make sense to you? Neither to me.

Arez - (see Basel's reasons) Disagree with my logic means I must be scum?

Naeann - This is a purely emotional vote. My aggressive play is taken as Mynd being a meany head with meany pants. Since scum always are aggressive and never sit back and hide under the radar on Day 1, then I must be scum because I am a meany head. Meany heads need to be lynched.

Darthe - His actually makes sense in that he argues I used the big TEAL DEER of a post to justify an EP lynch. At this point, he is the first to actually present a logical case against me. He's wrong, but its the first vote that actually is based on gameplay and scum-hunting.

Peace - He feels I am too "food" (?) at this game to keep around. I am a threat to the town if I am mafia. I am a threat to the mafia if I am town. Therefore, I should be lynched.

Tina - Bandwagons Peace's vote. Also, I didn't "keep" bringing up what happened with Christine, I brought it up once in this game because it is the only reasonable explanation for her vote on me. Does her alternative explanation make any sense?

This sums up my voters so far. Personally, based on the reaction from my vote on EP, I think we should proceed with his lynch. Not just because of the odds, but also because the reaction was more than just "Mynd, you're full of it" - I was voted for voting EP.

I am also a vanilla townie, so my loss to the town is not as big as it would be if I were finder or healer. If I am the one lynched, then please consider those mentioned above and their true reasons for voting me. Which make sense and which are trumped up?

Logic based on pure math is just that, Pure math. Therefor you can't cross yourself from that list even if You know your town. Such surveys are meant to be impartial.

Town players, take note how quickly my bandwagon has formed. The cases against me are weak. I have presented them clearly. Should I be lynched (I hope not) be sure you look closely at the list of names on my lynch. I will flip vanilla townie. This has always been my favorite role because I can take extreme chances with minimal risk to the town.

Since my vote on Nyn was an admitted attempt to save myself, I will return my vote to who I truly feel is scum.

My original basis for his vote was purely odds, as I mentioned in my original theory. The fact that he didn't OMGUS vote me but several others did for him raised my eyebrow. Now that there are significant votes on me, he finally switches with a very weak reason. I was very clear that I left my own name off the list because I know I am town. I would hope each of us who are town don't suspect ourselves as scum.

In a way, I have created us all a list for us to dissect. 8 people vote for me over 3 days before deadline. What are the odds that at least two of them are scum? Pretty good.

This strikes me as oversimplifying things a bit. There's also the issue that others have brought up that you talked about making a list, and then put forth only one name. If it were just to get around the fact that you would belong on the list of players who are overdue to be scum, then fine. But there's 22 players (counting whoever might come in to replace Chrissy) besides yourself and EP. You named none of them. All you came up with was EP. So the question this raises is, which players are you trying to protect by not giving us a list?

The whole point of my theory is that if we each make a list, we each would eventually come up with the same people. My list isn't meant for everyone. It's meant for me just as your list would be meant for you. I can cross myself off my own list because its my list. The true results come when we each compare our lists.

Its like in the game of Clue. If you have Colonel Mustard and the Candlestick, you know right off the bat that Colonel Mustard didn't do it and the Candlestick wasn't used. So why not cross them off your own list? It would be foolish to expect others to cross off the same because they don't know you have those cards - but they do know what cards they have.

Am I the only one supposed to be creating a list? I didn't think it was my responsibility to create one. Had I been trying to protect players, I would have come up with a list and named members of my scum team on both lists should I be lynched at some point.

I am beginning to understand that many of you have no idea what I was talking about. Lemme try to RE-explain my original theory.

When I was in Vegas playing blackjack, I noticed that while the odds of something occurring are the same, the likelyhood was different. If we each (not must me) take the list of 22 players and broke them down into two categories (for example, newbies and veterans) and then broke down one of those groups by another category (such as has been mafia recently and has not been mafia) then we can begin to narrow down who is likely scum.

Again, the key phrase here is "likely scum" and not "100% definitely scum" because no one but the scum team themselves knows who is scum for sure.

If each of us do this, then each of us should remove ourselves from our lists because we know our own alignment. My list won't contain Myndrunner, but your list should.

Based on my own breakdown of newbies who haven't been mafia in recent games, I came up with EP as a very likely candidate to be mafia.

Does this make sense at all to anyone?
