This is pure bullshanks. You start off your post with "um...mynd you are acting very un-mynd like then blah blah blah and vote me. Let's be honest, you are still sore about how you failed in a previous game of ours and let the mafia win. I called you out on that and now you see an opportunity to get me lynched. Explain to me how I am being very unmynd like?

 

Also, I think Nyn is a good way to go, but I am voting her because I am town and this places her tied with me.

I don't like how you keep attacking people for past games and claiming you are so marvelous that they'd attack you constantly in future games because, supposedly, you alone are why they didn't win last time. Whatever get over yourself. You also attack after they've left this one, and not at all in the spirit of the game but thinking you are above it and that everyone who plays different from your style is obviously wrong. People acting like this is why I don't play much any more. I hate the tainted spirit that has become this game... it USED to be fun. You are playing very mean and dirty and acting like you are superior to everyone.

Mynds whole game is to invoke emotional responses. Is this surprising to anyone?

 

Coming in to a game and expecting to not be frustrated, irked, bewildered is a bit naive. Mafia by definition isn't a nice game. No scum slips while keeping a level head.

How is that a mistake? How are you so sure Eternal Phoenix is town? There is only one way you can be 100% sure of someone's alignment on Day 1 and thats if you are mafia!

I tried to introduce a theory, of which I clearly stated was just that a theory, at the beginning of all this. I've been more than willing to listen to arguments for and against it, but some have instead tried to vote me for it.

 

Others are voting me out of pure emotion without any basis simply because they are cross with me.

 

One is voting me because another dropped out of this game and apparently I am a meany head who was mean so I caused it. This person did the right thing by dropping out, her ego is too fragile to take the pressure of a true mafia game. The person voting me needs to check her own emotions as she has a history of taking these games too personal as well.

 

Another is voting me simply because in an earlier game she cost us an easy win by going inactive. She was quite active in other games, she apparently "forgot" she was in the game. We had the mafia cornered, and she blew it. I ranted about it in general in the mafia rant thread and now she is voting me because she sees this as an opportunity to get even with my rather snarky comments regardless of my alignment.

 

The question you have to ask yourself is this. Are any of these votes based on actual logic or scum-hunting? Or are they rigidly based on emotion without logic?
