I'm curious where in the heck Hoof came up with this. It seems quite a stretch -- in fact, it seems like he was working pretty hard to come up with a justification to put a second vote on someone.

These cases are all based solely on D1 joking around. I accept that that can be a legit way of finding scum sometimes, but these all seem a little reachy to me.

Ok, a lot of Boyo's votes have seemed odd to me. Key's reaction to that one vote at the beginning of the game is still interesting, so just keeping that in mind.

 

That whole Kae/Kaylee/BG thing. That was an odd thing for Kae to point out. While I don't know if it's enough for a vote, I'm not going to fault other people for voting based off of that on D1 when we have very little data. I feel like a lot of info can be gained from the BG/Tina thing that's evolving though. I'll wait to see people's daybreak responses before I vote.

 

Oh, and btw, I'll probably be rather absent until Friday evening. I have this HUUUUGE research project that I'm working on and can't be on for long enough periods of time to really be able to think clearly about mafia.

Call this a gut reaction or what you will, but Lenlo's been rubbing me the wrong way. Something about the way he's posting is giving me the feeling that he might be scum. There's no one certain thing that causes me to think this, but it's his posting style in general.

 

I dont think we should lynch Hoof either. He always does something to get himself lynched D1 it seems so if he survives to D2 he might actually start acting like a townie. If he continues to act in a scummy way we can just lynch him then instead of the blind D1 lynchs thats going around now.

I'm just sticking with my gut here on Tina. I'm not certain why Tina was so intent that my Kae vote was some sort of strategic move. It was Day 1 and votes move around. I'm not sure if there's anything I can say or do to satiate that idea. What did you want me to do? Leave my vote on Kae indefinitely?

 

Also @Mawth, saying I'm reaching for my votes "a lot" is a nice soundbite, but I'd prefer you to back it up with what I've done. I think my reasons have been more than adequate.

 

Anyway, onto other things.

Kaylee said she'd try and speak up more and hasn't. FoS that.

Soy revealed he's unlynchable at 2 votes? FoS that. If we can't decide on anyone at the end of a day, we can always use Soy as an alternative to Random/NoVote to test the roleclaim.

Maw-I agree with him that you are reaching for your votes a lot, BG. Of course you think that your reasons have been more than adequate.

Kaylee-I agree with you on this point. Kaylee, you've experienced a day and a night cycle now. Do you have any thoughts about what's gone on up to this point?

Soy-I also agree with you here. There was almost no pressure on him to reveal that piece of information. Why would he let that drop at such an odd time?

Regarding the italics in the first post of BG's I quoted- this is what interests me. You say that votes move around on Day 1, and then when Tina says that you had a strategic reason for voting Kae, you immediately press the attack on her. You've immediately zeroed in on her today too. And by your logic, because votes move around on Day 1, that means Soy should be given a pass for doing what you advocated? Even though he gave almost no reasoning for his votes other than "spreading the love around"? Coupled with Soy's timing for his role claim, I'm almost tempted to test it. But the fact that you jumped right up and said we should test it if there's no consensus has me wondering.

 

You sure have a way with words, BG. I keep interjecting conspiracies into your actions. Right! I think you were happy that I voted you so you could get an excuse to move your vote from Sakaea and omgus vote me instead.

 

Tina seems to think that you gave her an OMGUS vote because she came out against you.

 

Sakaea pointing out Kaylee was weired. As BG pointed out, lots of players had posted less and Sakaea herself had only posted one time more. She say that new players often posts more. From my experiences I would say that it´s often the opposite. What is even more strange though is BG´s vote for Sakaea. He leaves his vote on her for now and leaves the door open to switch at any time. I do agree with Nolder that if they are both mafia, BG pointed out the obvious to look town but won´t stay there long enough to lynch her.

 

BG has pinged me more times. He agreed with Song that Key was too defensive but was willing to let it slide. Feels like he was pushing the Key wagon without leaving his vote there. Still he could come back to it later. Also his ideas that it would be good to kill Nolder (me) when he became co-mod was strange.

Tricky. See, now you've pinned me into a corner. If I decide to move my vote away from Sakaea, you will be able to justify your reason for voting me while simultaneously trying to link me and Kae. You'd be able to say something around the lines of "I told you so! He never intended to vote Kae. Etc, Etc." But if I keep it where it is, then it looks like I'm leaving my vote there in order to not look suspicious since you mentioned it now. Either way, you've set me up to have dirt on me no matter what I do, dirt that you threw at me ironically. I don't blame you for not liking my musing on Nolder being co-mod (since that is you now), but whatever. Backing someone into a corner to force thier move to look bad either way is manipulative.

You accuse her of interjecting conspiracies into your actions, but who's the one that came out with the elaborate reason to vote for Tina because she tried to case you? For an OMGUS vote, that's pretty extreme. And let's remember your statement from earlier that votes on Day 1 move around. She never said that it would make you look bad if you moved your vote - she just pointed out that you had set your reasoning up to come back to the Key train. Overreact much? Unvote, vote BG.
