Mat has just been crowned our Cage Match King! His victory completes our cage matches for this year. We hope you all enjoyed participating.

How did you like the cage matches? Would you like us to do them again next year?

I would love to see another cage match! The write-ups were fun to read and the debates were more so. I cannot wait to see some other characters getting to duke it out.

When I'm in command every mission's a suicide mission.

It was awesome sauce! Kudus to everyone involved!

I definitely want to see another cage match.

Additionally, I want to see a different kind of cage match where characters are placed in command of armies, and we vote on who wins the battle.
For each match, the combatants are given armies equal in numbers (unless channelers are included), but not necessarily with the same proportions. For example, a Saldean army would have a larger proportion of cavalry than other armies, while an army of Aiel would mean that pretty much every member of that army has similar weapons and fighting style.
And just like Rand was not included in this cage match because he is in a class of his own, so would Mat not be included in a battle cage match. (or Cage Match: Total War  )

Nice bit of fun :)

next year can we have one full of minor characters? Sulin, Dobrain, Uno, Sleet, Tallanvor etc make it a bit mor unknown as there won't be anyone super popular over others.
