Kae's [BASIC] X-Men Mafia GAME OVER! TOWN WINS!!!

All right, I've given my vote quite a bit of thought overnight. My original vote was a joke, and then I made my second vote when I let my emotions get the worst of me. I'm going to go with BG, since, as mentioned, he has been pretty quiet here, aside from discussing the theme material. He has been pretty active over in the game I'm in at the WK, so I'm guessing that it isn't RL interfering with his DM time, or he would be equally quiet in both threads. I'm thinking that it's the quiet one that we gotta watch.

Vote BG.

OK, here are some of my thoughts.

First off, I just want to say Gill's example of my being active over in the Wolfkin mafia is funny because that game hasn't moved in days. My last post there was 2 days ago, but it is still one of the more recent posts. Besides the point though.... because he's right in that I've been active all over the rest of DM.... just a funny example in my mind.

I think Red was just saying she liked Gambit and pretended to talk like Gambit for fun, just because... why not? Unless she's trying to pull a.... wait for it.... GAMBIT! OH SNAP! But seriously, I didn't read anything into it.

@Songstress... if you think that was a wall of text (WoT as well ironically call it), you should wait and see what Red can deal out later on. Or Despo if you ever get in a game with him.

I've mainly been quite because I'm observing. From meta of what I know of other's styles and trends, Mynd isn't shaking the bushes nearly as much as I'm used to. Nolder tends to be a lot more active in games he finds interesting, and quiet when he's got a dull role, and so far, he's been quite active. Red's playful style is normal, she's playful on day one and it always seems to be in different ways. Hoof miraculously doesn't have 4 votes on him yet, even though he's talkative.

As such my suspicions currently lean towards Nolder. But I reserve the right to not vote for now and continue observing.

Blackhoof's post pinger me hard. It's 90% defending Nolder, 9% a rip on Basel for a vote that he already explained was talked to about, and 1% making fun of Mynd for his not-so-veiled threat. Then he votes for Mynd. I don't buy it.

ah

fair enough I suppose

personally I'm not a fan of calling people out on their activity elsewhere

I know sometimes I'm just not in the mood to read/write mafia posts so even if I'm online and doing stuff I might avoid the game

I don't think people should be afraid to participate in the forums they like just because someone might find it suspicious in a mafia game

to me activity outside the game and inside the game should be mostly unrelated

although if you are absent from the game for a noticeable amount of time you'll still be held accountable

that's how I see it anyway

I'm pretty much not here on weekends, and I'll be playing Final Fantasy XIII-2 pretty much from late this afternoon til Sunday night. Just a heads up.

Let us know if it makes up for XIII... I couldn't finish that game. Though I liked the combat. It was just drudgery.

Well, I technically finished 13. I didn't, however, put in the 200+ hours that I've put into every other FF game before 13. While the combat system was spot on, absolutely everything else about it reeked the funk. Definitely the one I like the least (other than Fang). Because she's, well, badass.

yeah i tried FFXIII but i can't stand turn based RPG's. though Earthbound has my interested perked (if only cause 've heard the villian is a major BAMF) to see if it was rerealsed to Game Cube as alot of NES games were, and sadly no. they haven't even released it to the online arcade for downloading yet. i was bummed. so i bought inFamous 2 and Uncharted instead

have fun with XIII-2 Kae

all of you can GFY's for tryign to pin down whether i was role hinting or not. i don't see what point it will have for me clarifying adn i don't see how this will help us get scum. if anythign, the peopel who are pushing me to clarify whether it was a role claim are likely scum who are scared of the awesome powers that our Gumbo lovin, staff wield smart ass comment givin trickster migh have.

and yes, asking me to clarify i am gambit IS asking me to role claim. because obviously if i am him, then clarifying would lead to me claiming the role

my vote stays on Nol until he stops bulldogging me about this.

that said, Songstress's recap is good. if this is only your 2nd game, you've cuaght on very well

Fang is definitely a badass. her. There's a thread in the BT where I'll be posting about it, tho, don't wanna distract from the game

honeslty Nol, right now i'm majorly PO'd at my PC. this is my third time tryign to post a corrected post from the one above becaseu my home PC is a load of crap that would bring me more joy as scrap metal.

if you want to acuse me of skimming on the weekands when i don't normally get on then go right ahead. but just because when i do get no during the weekands and decide to check on the games i'm in and don't post a massive WoT quoting half of the flamming posts to address them does not mean i'm skimming.

FYI my home cpu hates me and wont let me do the multi quote here on DM, because its a flamming no good piece of trash that is about to make me go all "Office Space" on its ass like a gangster int he middle of a corn field with a sludge hammer.

at least this time it submitted my post (even thoguh i didn't hit post) instead of taking the thread back by one page or refreashing the browser. i'm not tryign to correct that post a 4th time. i've got things to do other than correcting my posts because my PC is an incompitent piece of scrap metal.

well...not really

I think it would be helpful for everyone involved if she could clarify whether she was hinting at Gambit or not

if she wasn't I'm not asking her to claim

I would rather she clarify the claim if she was close to a lynch, but right now I'm not sure we should push for her reveal, sugar, because then we would reveal everyone.

fair enough

I wont push it again but if it's something we all end up regretting later I'm going to blame you personally for it

my vote stays on Nol until he stops bulldogging me about this.

yet after that quote you and others continued a discussion on it. which still relates to pressuring me indirectly to reveal whet

It's Deja Vu all over again....and again....and again.....

Speaking of Deja Vu, this post was about to be a vote Hoofy post, but I hesitate because don't we end up lynching Hoofy first in EVERY FRIGGEN GAME?! His post is like written by a dog in a park. "YEah, I think Nolder is a jerk and....SQUIRREL!!" and then votes me.

I'm leaning more towards Basel Gill right at the moment. His vote on Nolder was one of those convenient slip-past votes to get Nolder on the high lynch, but then he backtracks saying it was a joke vote. I don't think it was.

But the man with the same initials also pings me a bit. BG shows up only when Basel Gill votes him?

Nolder seems to actually be doing some scum-hunting. Now before you do the...well, Myndrunner thing and start hollering "WHY ARE YOU DEFENDING NOLDER?!" look at it this way. Nolder is sticking his scruffy neck out and doing actual casing, while there are a lot of us who are sitting back and reacting. So, I don't see us gaining anything by his lynch and I don't see him as mafia.

Red may not be Gambit. If she was, there really is no harm in revealing as such since there are bigger Howletts to fry in this game, I can imagine. I think a lot of us just wanna last through D1 so we can use are awesome (and in some cases REALLY awesome) powers.

My vote stands on Basil Gill until a better option presents itself to me. Or I make it present itself. ;)
