But I don't think that is a very good picture of Cadsuane - it shows none of her "hair ornaments" nor her ageless face. It looks more like a green Verin - even down to the book in her hand...

...I'm not entirely sure why I did this, but here's Meryl Streep as Cadsuane:

Meryl Streep just always reminded me of Cadsuane, especially in The Devil Wears Prada.

Cadsuane would win, for the reasons Luckers described. Lanfear is stronger, faster, more skilled as a channeler ... but she'd die because Cadsuane has another temperament, a lot of experience with these things (Lanfear has probably not spent more than 300 years in action), and because she'd have the element of surprise. Lanfear's good, but Cadsuane's cleverer. In a drawn-out fight, Lanfear would definitely win, though. But a win's a win, no matter how "cheap". No point in playing "fair" if that'll make you die.

Very cool, I have to admit this one is close, too close really. I gave it Lanfear on a strictly personal level as I just don't like Caddy.

Sleepinghour, that is EXACTLY what I imagine Cadsuane to look like. I always think of Merryl Streep too - she's perfect!

Without Cadsuane's accessories, obviously Lanfear. Lanfear is much much stronger in the Power and more skilled.

Cadsuane has her angreal, which may equate OP strength or make it close enough, plus Cadsuane's fox head ter'angreal...I say double KO.

This is a little embarassing but I actually mistook this for an actual reading from one of the books. All the way up until the end anyway lol. So very well written indeed!

As for the happenings. I can see it actually. Cadsuane seems incredibly bright and knowledgable so her taking down a forsaken as powerful as Lanfear seems possible. As long as what happens is exactly like what is written here. It would have to be a complete surprise and something Lanfear just totally forgets about.

I like this outcome, I pick Cadsuane as well.

I was leaning towards voting for Caddy from the beginning. Seeing Meryl in the thread...well, I just HAVE to vote for her now =]

And excellent write up Luckers. I enjoyed reading it. If I were to picture a confrontation in my head, that is pretty much how I would expect it to go. All this build up for some crazy fight, onlyto be shortly ended by Caddy's blunt attack ^_^
