So, uh, I guess I should offer a more formal apology. I had some rather unexpected choral-related obligations to deal with--when I checked in here promising to peruse through on the morrow, I became sucked into another cycle of back-to-back rehearsals, and the only free time I managed to allot in the day was spent on either my homework or the game I'm currently moderating. I guess I should probably admit this game completely slipped my mind (yeaaah, so far I don't have a good track record here for that--this isn't like me, I promise).

You didn't really miss much imo. We just lynched Ledinna for saying some weird things about Nolder. From her lack of fight I expect her to flip vanilla town. The case on her wasn't very strong and the only competing train I can remember was on BG who claimed Cop, so we had to back off there.

I tend to get caught up in the moment, critically lash out at other players for things I'm wary of, and end up feeling I was too harsh in the end. I'll try and be more confident once I catch up.)

I can see where being overly apologetic could condemn me--perhaps he felt me to be attempting to avoid people's bad sides by way of constant politeness. I won't completely disregard it as some farce used to bolster a formerly empty case on me for his own benefit. It's merely my lack of confidence that impedes my clarity, however.

Well, if BG is the finder I expect we'll hear about his findings in the morning. I still don't believe his claim though. It stinks heavily of 'i'm scum and about to get lynched so i'm going to claim a power role at the last second.'

Considering something similar happened in the game I'm hosting, I wouldn't discard his claim as an automatic scum tactic right away. Eagerly awaiting his results, however.

Ledinna really didn't put up any argument. I am pretty sure we just lynched a town member. =( I'm still wondering about BG...he could be telling the truth, but then again, it's really common for mafia to claim an important role or hint at having an important role without saying what it is when there's pressure on them. It's happened in just about every game I have ever played. So...I'm still suspicious.

Edarra attempted to reason with the group before her, though her reasoning sounded to the mob more like evasion of the questions and accusations thrown at another. She said little as they approached, “She’s one of them! Hiding here to cause us harm!”

 

Edarra voiced her innocence, but it was not enough to deter the mob, they closed in and attacked, they strung Edarra up in a nearby tree.

that was about as close to a vanilla lynch as we could get I think

would have been nice if she was scum but I'm pretty happy we got out of day 1 without losing a more important role
