I think sometimes people take advantage of Amega's spelling/grammatical errors and make him out to seem more scummy than he really is

 

i doubt this, as i'm one of the worst spellers/grammer people on DM and have yet to be attempted to be lynched for that.

 

i also dislike Nols slight defense of Amega here and in other posts. it's not blatant, but it is there. wonder why Nol is linking himself with Amega so hard ....

putting grammar aside I don't recall you misspelling a word let alone multiple words in the same post

Amega also sometimes uses the wrong word but spelled correctly (example might be mixing up "now" and "know")

 

the main difference between you and Amega is that you're usually very clear with what you're saying

sometimes it's hard to understand what Amega is getting at

 

double ditto, i also find it wierd how Nol recated to Panda's vote from the start. metagamming here, but i expected Nol to pull out quotes to prove panda's fos was unfounded. and now once his odd behavoir is pointed out, Nol goes full barrels at Panda.

I do those kinds of things when I'm trying to prove something to the person I'm arguing with

I could easily tell Panda was not interested in anything I had to say for the get go

I trusted that you and everyone else could see that and that, if you wanted to, you would double check the facts for yourself

I have to say everyone's reaction to this is highly disappointing

I'm not liking the expectation that I "blow up" and defend myself all out when being attacked

 

TL;DR: Panda has no case and I thought that was obvious. I'm disappointed everyone is too lazy to see that for themselves and expects me to spell it out for them.

oh i want to point this out, but the Nol-Soy exchange feels off and forced to me. i dunno if it was planned, or what; but i dislike the overall feelign it gave me honestly.

It's getting late for me so just a few quick notes. First off, Unvote As I do not know why Arlow had placed his vote.

 

The entire interplay between Nolder and Soy and then Nolder and Pandy was interesting. I think there might be something going on with Nol and Soy. The argument did seem a little weird. Added to Nol's nearly condescnding brush off of Pandy leads me to question him.( I did like the semi A Few Good Men ref tho)

 

At this point I will vote Nolder.

I don't see how my information was false. Boyo made a flimsy vote, which you attacked, while also making a flimsy vote. I was wondering how you were any better than him. Your refusal to answer (or even to point out why you think my understanding is false) means you don't have an answer. You know, I'm not unreasonable. I'm open to being proven wrong - DM has been loading very slowly for me, so my read-through was a bit disjointed. But as Boyo pointed out, the precise chronological order of events isn't necessarily important.

 

I didn't mean to give the impression that I've never cared about what you had to say. However, since I initially questioned you, my interest has shifted from that original line of enquiry, which was never going to be the most productive one in the world, to your behaviour in general.

I mean, all right, I'll admit that Amega didn't necessarily have to voice her disdain for joke-voting, but COME now--what are you guys doing here? You know, I'm wondering if this whole Amega case is merely a distraction from everything else. There's something not right here with this. All I'm seeing is one line from Amega being blown out of proportion, leading him to utter suspicious words or somesuch and multiple interpretations to the case. My interpretation may sound ludicrous--I simply don't know how to word myself better.

First portion is ridiculous. The "Amega case" is not a distraction. There just isn't much else going on! Nothing of note has gone on that has no stemmed from his remark and Boyo's vote.

You yourself are doing more to enlarge the situation then people who are taking part in it.

 

The last line....doesn't sit well. We know people's minds change in mafia. Don't have to leave yourself a way out by saying you might change your mind in the "near future."

Makes it sound like if it doesn't work out well for whatever plans you have, then you'll vote.

For one I love your argumentative play style. Two, the issue here was that you made a very assertive statement without any back up in response to a reasonable question. Granted your interpretation made you think that it, the question, was flawed, and you said as much, but you never said how you thought it was flawed. Though you did ask for clarification. The only problem was, what was panda supposed to clarify when you didn't even tell him? Soy himself admits he's "willing to lynch anyone" in post #57, this includes Amega

as for me, I detail in post #51 what I found scummy about Soys vote

"cast one out there and hope" implies two things to me

1. that you know that this is fairly weak reasoning

2. despite the weakness of your case you would actually want Amega lynched over it

 

those two things lead me to think that you therefore know Amega is not on your team because why else would you want to lynch someone over such weak reasoning?

based on what you said it looks like you're going for an "easy lynch"

obviously it has nothing to do with him not being willing to lynch Amega as we both are clearly stating the exact opposite
