Nol - your strong defense of not voting the inactives seemed like a teammate trying to cover. Once it looked like it was going no where you changed with the flow. Interestingly, you voted for Christine.

I will always be against voting inactives

true inactives mind you

if a player was playing and randomly disappeared it could be lurking and we can analyze what they did in the past

someone who made 2 or 3 posts didn't really play

no information is going to be gained by their death

I voted christine not because she's been inactive but because she's one of the people who I saw as potentially having blackhoofs vote

however I have since noticed a flaw in that assessment

I'll get to that in another post

Posted

Mostly, I don't like Nolder. He just keeps defending inactive players, while it seems all others say they don't like it, and it is, indeed, weird to vote one of those inactive players at the same time.

it's not like they can defend themselves right?

oh wait that was me

I love how you all chose to take shots at me as soon as I couldn't defend myself

very telling

Posted

Could you explain, special for not-so-intelligent people like me, why you posted that quotes, and in a reversed order, Nolder?

Nol's defending of Chrissy and Nyn seemed like scum defending his teammates.

At this point I will Vote Nol.

Vote: Christine

Nice try, Nolder. It's called "bussing a teammate". You are trying to make him contradict himself, but you take it out of context. You did appear to defend Christine/Nyn while you were spouting off about inactives. You voting one of them, if they are your teammates, can be simply chalked up to bussing.

But you trying to make Ishy contradict himself pings me even more than potential bussing.

Vote: Nolder

I don't even understand what you mean by trying to get them to contradict themselves

Ish and others said I defended christine

I didn't

I argued strongly against voting off inactives yes

where does christine come into that? she's inactive? ok? so?

just because she's one of the inactives doesn't mean we have to be partners

you could have said the same thing about me and amega

except oh wait she was town

your theory of bussing is incorrect sir

Can you point to anything showing where Christine was Hoof's vote-holder? When was she ever active enough in-game to even know his vote was up for grabs? I'm not denying she was scum, she very well may have been, but I don't see where she would just pop in and grab Hoof's vote then never play again. Because whoever had it moved Hoof's vote after it was up for grabs. And the chances of Christine doing that just to never play other than that seems very doubtful to me.

this annoyed the snot out of me

1. how can I point to something that would she christine was hoofs vote holder? if it was in the thread it would have been obvious to everyone right away. and even if there was something I could have picked up on how the hell was I supposed to explain by posting actions? it surely wouldn't have been as easy as quoting a post. loaded freaking question intended to make me look guilty.

2. why does she had to have been active "in-game" to get hoofs vote? red said to PM her for the vote so it could have been anyone. christine didn't need to post to have the vote.

3. you could be right. it could have been someone more lurky and less inactive like verbal or amega. but I chose christine to set my sights on. so what?

Nolder opens his eyes, looks up, shakes his head, and closes his eyes again, back to whatever it is he's doing.

Didn't think so. And despite your attempts to alter the timeline in your posts, anyone can see that I made my fos's at you before you ever voted Chrissy. And attempting to vote her after I made most of my case against you and it was pretty obvious that lynching the inactives was the way we were headed, just reeks of distancing to save yourself.

and then after that BS loaded question you take my head shake as a "no I can't I was wrong" when I did not intend it that way at all

made a case against me? all you did was accuse me of bussing

you even admitted my argument against lynching inactives held validity

personally I'm starting to think you're scum and that you decided you could twist my strong convictions and turn them against me as I was obviously in the minority concerning lynching inactives

I'll also note that you defended verbal when I made a case against him and later when I couldn't talk and you were taking every opportunity to pick at me verbal joined in on the bandwagon

Posted

I like the case on Nolder more so due to the appearance of him trying to be tricky.

the appearance of me trying to be tricky

what does this even mean? can you explain? please show me a time when I tried to be tricky.

But Tina is right - this was a bad time for Nolder to get a PR. If the majority don't want to go there, it is understandable. I'm just not sure what the case on Amega is....

smooth way to back off

also you're not sure what the case on amega was but you voted him anyway? why would you do that?

Posted

Nolder still looks scummy to me. Most of all. Tina also a bit, and I don't think Amega has said enough to vote her. So I will VOTE Nolder, because I have much homework this evening, go to bed after it, then go to school, and will not be active before a few hours after deadline.

that's a bandwagon vote if I've ever seen one

at least verbal had the decency to echo Ish's ridiculous claim that I could be bussing

Ed replaced Chrissy; Louii replaced Nyn

Deadline

12 alive, 7 to lynch

22:34:36

Vote Count

Amega (1): Tina, Louii

Tina (1): Leelou

Nol(1): Verbal

No Vote (10): Amega, Ley, Ed, Ishy, Nol, Sakaea, JLM, Hoof

Lots of people are not voting - why?

I voted Nol, I don't know why it isn't showing. Unless it has to do with his PR somehow.

I love how concerned you are to have your vote on me

worried the tide is turning and I might get a chance to defend myself after all?

Posted

I want more than anything to get a controlled lynch, don't get me wrong, but at this point it seems obvious that Nol can't even defend himself due to his PR. Seems grossly unfair to not even let him pick apart our cases.

yeah I'm sure you only just realized this

That being said, the only obvious alternative at this point would be Amega and I don't know if we could convince enough people to change their vote in time to beat the deadline. The only thing keeping me from changing to Amega is that this can't go random. But if enough of us can make it in time for the deadline, I would much rather lynch Amega than Nol. He made a scum tell early on D1 and then didn't get a chance to back it up.

what was this scum tell that you're talking about exactly? if it was so obvious why didn't you vote Amega initially?

Posted

Nolder opens his eyes and glares at Ishy for a bit then closes them again.

Really? Glares at me for trying to get everyone to NOT lynch you?? I swear, I will be glad when your PR is done....

that was my way of FoSing you

I suppose I could have pointed dramatically but I don't like pointing like that

it's rude

Posted

Nolder opens his eyes, stands up, pulls a rope out of his pocket, and tosses it at Amegakures feet.

Vote: Amega

this was entirely self preservation

I was not really interested in an Amega lynch but it was either him (her? geez I dunno I keep getting some of you guys confused sorry) or me so I chose me

there was also the possibility that Amega was the scum who had hoofs vote however I've since realized that the way I determined that is faulty

I'll get to that soon

Posted

Nolder you've got some serious talking to do....

because I threw the hammer instead of letting it go random? what about verbal? supposedly I sniped him and he attempted to throw the hammer

and I think one or two more people voted even after verbal (why? I have no idea, it confuses me when people do this on DM)

Posted

Someone is happy that he can talk again?

Amega is a man.

yes very much :myrddraal:

also ok I'll try to remember

I think I maybe get amega mixed up with sak

sak is the girl right? maybe? I hope...

Posted

She is but she don´t like that name.

Although I agree with a lot of things that you say you have to understand that your vote on Christine looked scummy. If you only voted here because she might had Blackhoof´s vote then you had some others on your list to chose from too.

ok so about the whole hoof vote mistake I'd been making

after reading this post

Did I? Oh well, it was an entire paragraph. Cut me some slack. No, i did say it at the bottom. Ley keeps going after any aggressive players. Possible mafia for two reasons: aggressive players are generally the most likely to get a mafia lynched and I concur about the Mafia getting Hoof's vote (see Nol's reasoning above) and I said that i think he is the one controlling hoof's vote. Feel free to tell me why i'm wrong.

Because you are at L-1, which is 6 votes, and there are 6 people voting you.....meaning that if Ley had the extra vote....wouldn't you be dead?

and then looking at this postcount

no dealine yet, only a vote majority

Deadline

13 alive, 7 to lynch

24:10:24

Vote Count

Tina (1): Leelou

Maw (6): Ishy, Verbal, Sakaea, Hoof, Tina, Ley

Ley (1): Maw

No Vote (1): Chrissy

No Vote (04): Nyn, Amega, JLM, Nol

I'd singled out the four people not voting besides myself as candidates for having hoofs vote because obviously if one of them was voting we'd see a votecount where someones vote counted for 2 (ie if the person who had hoofs vote was voting for hoof he'd be dead) right? since we didn't see that then logically it must be one of the people not voting who had the vote. WRONG!

I made this silly assumption because I read verbals post

I don't know if he made this mistake intentionally or not but that's not how this whole thing was working

the person who got hoofs vote got it via PM

they also controlled it via PM as confirmed by red in this quote

Nol' date=' moving Hoofs vote is done like a Puppeteer role. if it was out in the open i'd say who got the power to puppet his vote on thread[/quote']

so I don't know how many of you besides me and verbal were operating under the assumption that the person who controlled hoofs vote basically turned into a doublevoter but that's not the case

not much else I can do besides own up to my mistake now

I wonder what verbal has to say about all this since I don't think he's realized yet about the mistake he made

unless of course it was intentional but we can't know that

No, as I said earlier, I haven't made up my mind about you yet. You may have noticed that despite the proximity to the deadline, and despite the fact that nearly every other active was heading that way, I did NOT vote for you. I chose another train.

I merely wanted to hear your case because at this stage you're looking like the next popular lynch.

And you do make some good arguments, I shall have to think on this for a bit.

LOL would you liked to be called Sak, I certainly wouldn't.

Posted

I don't see what's wrong with sak

you can call me sak if you like

well TBH I'd prefer Sack since to me they'd be pronounced the same why remove the c? but yeah I dunno

wouldn't bother me...

For a player-controlled lynch. Simple.

I was also operating under the assumption that the player with Hoof's vote was essentially a doublevoter. That was the only post I made on it, so I didn't even notice the error until you just pointed it out, lol. I was wrong on that one.

Heh - I was about to go on and on about how you obviously can't count, when I then said "sh*t....I'm the idiot here, not him". Oops.
