First - I have not read the books so I don´t understand a word when you talk about it.

So many interesting things have happened already. Ishy failed in his or attempt to make competing bandwagons. It was funny to read. Kate saw Ishy`s mistake and vote him for it. She gets voted for that and them Ithi unvotes. Kate says she is vanilla. Other things also stands out:

Vambram posts a lot but not much game related. Joke votes, laughs and talking about the books with Wombat. Trying to show himself active without actually saying much.

Wombat has explained his reasons for voting!!! Must be the first time I have seen it.

Red - talking about competing bandwagons when she jumps on the only bandwagon. She also didn´t like Kates counterclaim. Can you actually counterclaim a vanilla?

I think I will unvote and vote Vambram.

Someone (Ithi?) said we have time because we don't have a deadline. We aren't going to get a deadline. We will get a 4 hour warning and we'd better hope we have enough players online to do something with it.

I'm going to vote Kate, at least for now. 1) losing a vanilla townie isn't the worst thing that could happen on day 1, and 2) It's the easiest thing to claim as mafia.

Also, I wasn't crazy about her early reveal.

Bro, I'm getting confused. In one game, I have to vote in red and in one game I can't vote in red. Will you consider allowing it to help ease said confusion? I know it's my fault for being in multiple games and all, but please?

The deadlines might be a problem for us non Americans and that is why it´s important to vote. Right now I think we will have some time left though since we only started this game yesterday.

I agree with Tina. Its been less than 24 hours since this game started and I don't want to rush into making a voting decision just because someone got annoyed at having a bandwagon form so quickly against them. I've been looking forward to this game for ages and I'd be annoyed too if it looked like I was gonna get lynched on the first RL day. I remember Jack getting three votes in quick succession on a first day and he wasn't happy about it either and everyone thought cos he strongly defended himself he must be Mafia - but he totally flipped Town.

I doubt that Jack will decide to end days too quickly as long as it seems like we are working towards something and have not just stalled.

Kate is a good active player and I'm certainly looking at anyone who is involved in this super lazy bandwagoning. I honestly have to say that I expected more from you more experienced players than the usual - oh its alright to lynch a Townie cos it'll give us some information - rubbish. I don't know if Kate is Town or Mafia. I've got no read on her at all so I'm NOT voting for her at this time. Obviously I don't want anyone to chuck a mental because I refuse to join in a bandwagon like just happened on another game. I'm trying to learn how to play this game effectively and believe the best way to do that is to form my own opinions and vote accordingly.

Those of you who have voted because you honestly believe she is Mafia, fair enough, but the other people. I'm just really disappointed in to be honest. So that's Wombat and Red who think she is Mafia, from what they have said already. Ed's was probably a joke vote as it was the first thing he did, and Ishy's miscounting and previous 'I'm a good guy honest' post seemed a bit put on.

However the bandwagon for the sake of it, when there is probably no real rush and plenty of time to make real decisions and votes is really ticking me off.

For that reason Vote Lily

Mafia apparently often try and sneak onto the end of a bandwagon apparently, saying they are doing it for the good of all. So to clarify I'm also voting for Lily cos I think she might be Mafia.

Amega, is there a proper way to defend?

I'm sorry some of you didn't like my claim, but Ithi asked point-blank. Can you say it would have looked better if I just said, "Not telling."?

Lily is right, losing a vanilla townie isn't so bad on D1, but I can say that whichever of you are townies on this bandwagon, you are letting your actions be guided by mafia and you will be one townie down if you keep this up. Other than that, I don't have much else to say.

So, if I had said my gut says she's mafia, that would have been okay? *shakes head* Maybe you missed my reason because I was mild in stating it. That's just my way.

There's rarely very much to go on on day 1. Her early reveal could easily have been a newbie mafia mistake. I don't know Kate and have no idea how much experience she has at this game.

You've got the wrong girl, Ithi. I'm town.

Also, my thinking in adding to her train in the middle-ish is to be sure we have enough votes to GET a lynch when the time comes. There is plenty of time to switch if something more interesting happens, probably. It's a just-in-case thing. I don't want to be caught with not enough votes when the 4 hour warning comes.

Sorry about the triple posts. I'm thinking in pieces today.

Ithi, it is important to get a controlled lynch. But it is also important to get as much information as possible before that. A bandwagon that everyone just jumps on doesn´t give us much information. Lily is right that it´s better to lynch a vanilla townie then a player with a potential pr but as I said, if all jumps on the Kate wagon right ahead we don´t get much information out of that.

I have seen mafia spread out to get a random lynch but I have also seen mafia leading town to think that there is only one candidate for a lynch. So lets look at all players not just Kate.

I don´t think everyone have checked in.

mostly for your main reason Lily. we don't have a deadline and your already pushing the "vote for a majority" angle while giving yoruself a way out.

Have to remember to check for new posts before I post. How did you manage to get five post in there while I was writing?

I can see why you vote Lily, Red but an explanation would be nice.

I've never played in a game with so short of warning before. I'm a bit gun shy over it. I'd rather see us be close to a lynch when the warning comes down. You all are acting like we have a week. You do know Jack, right? He's not the most patient person I've ever met. Maybe I'm wrong about this, but that's my thinking.

^^This. And while I did start the bandwagon on Kate, I was also offering myself up for the second one I thought. My whole point being to get two started and then see what we could learn. Day 1 is notorious for being slow and joking around, but a lot can be accomplished on Day 1 too. And by actually learning a little bit, I was mainly hoping to avoid the RK. Not by getting anyone to bandwagon Kate (or me for that matter), but by getting us all to vote and talk and see what we could see. Still keeping my vote on Kate for the moment, but just wanted to explain why I did what I did.

MOD NOTE

Since lily can partially game the mod, along with Red, wombat, Ed and aemon, allow me to tell you all that I am a) an impatient mod (I like things well before a deadline) b) I'm a strict mod c) I expect the most out of my players in my games

On a second note. Innactives players will not be punished by me. I let the players deal with them as necessary. (Lily and I were mafia, we lynched an inactive teammate cause they skipped our nk and I used him to vet myself. Old school DM play)

Carry on your playing

Right now, I'm happy for my vote to stay on Vamb. I might move it if something jumps out at me. The Kate bandwagon was piling up a bit quickly considering game is just barely 24 hours in. Lily, you are sticking out a bit for your reasoning there.
