[Basic] Mafia with Quibby- GAME OVER

A Basic game will contain standard mafia roles (i.e. Finder/Cop, Healer/Doc, Masons, Vig, SK). There are no recruiting roles or complex roles used, and the mafia/town ratio will be consistent with guides found on the mafiascum site linked above (usually ~25% mafia/scum).

 

Says nothing about two healers (or two cops for that matter). I did ask Quibby and all he said was PAFO and that the game was approved as basic game (not exact words).

 

Might be worth noting that there are 14 players (usual is 12).

Csarmi, I don't know if Jack and I have the same reasons, but I think it was your hard push for the Amega lynch that makes you seem likely for mafia. So, for that reason, you are pinging on the radar.

 

It's very wise of you to suspect me. You should suspect everyone, actually. But come on!

 

I'm scummy for not wanting to lynch healers at all because it's too risky. Then I'm scummy for proposing different targets. (Red vs leelou) Later I'm scummy because (after a lot of deliberation, talk and all that) actually voting for one of the 'targets'. No matter what I do, I'm scummy.

There being two doctors is also suspicious. I put game mechanics over activity. And use activity as a close second. That's why Lee will be getting my vote tomorrow and if she is telling the truth, then I go with evidence.

She said she already used it, already has her answer, and is just waiting to let us know her results. Scum NK's her and we never hear what she found out.

When Jack fails to show up at the morning gathering, you hold no illusions as to his fate. Still morbid curiosity drives you to his home.

 

There are tiny, bloody pawprints everywhere.

 

When you enter the door, the gnawed remains of a man who you can only assume is Jack are seen, tied to a chair. He has some dirty socks stuffed in his mouth, which explains why you didn't hear any screaming. And then there are the mice. Fat mice can be seen sprawled everywhere. On closer examination, you also see salt caked in some of the wounds. It's as if somebody had tied Jack to the chair, then started cutting him and salting the wounds. Then, based on the large, empty box in the corner, they had unleashed hundreds of starving mice to finish the job.

 

"What were you expecting, Lord Mod? That I'd show up here?" With a snort, Jack replied, "That makes one of us. I honestly expected to hear you say, 'What the hell are you doing here?' And then I expected fire, brimstone, little red dudes with pointy objects... you know."

 

"Shut it, dead dude. I was talking about that," the Lord Mod said, pointing to the space next to Jack's spirit.

 

The grisly sight is not enough to keep one member of the group from realizing that something is wrong. A quick head-count confirms it.

 

There's somebody else missing.

 

Tiinker's remains are more... academic in nature. In his house, you see some hastily constructed shelves, each with a large jar and a label. Organs have been placed in each jar, and the label names the organ, then goes into detail regarding its function. Next to all of this, a hastily-boiled skeleton has been wired together, holding a sign. The sign, when read, says, "SlimFast worked for me, and it can work for you, too!"

 

"The cruel bastard's referring to me, Jack," Tiinker grumbled.

 

Hastily, the angel that attendeth at the Right Hand of Mod muttered, "Ix-nay on the astard-bay."

 

"Aw, shut it, Polly. Go eat a cracker, and let the adults talk," Tiinker growled. The angel slunk off. "Now, why are you here?"

 

"I was about to ask you the same question."

 

"Are you... dead?"

 

"Yes. Are you?"

 

"...Yes."

 

The two were silent for quite some time. Then, at once, they both said, "Oh..."

 

The Lord Mod grinned. "Its the looks on their faces that I love the most.

I don't think Christine is lying. That makes me think Leelou really is healer too.

I was against the healer lynch day 2 because I couldn't tell if Red was healer or not and leelou's CC seemed fishy to me - in a good way: I just couldn't imagine him doing this so soon as maffia.

 

I had no read on amegakure.

 

I think we must be on Lylo btw. With so many power roles I just don't see how it could be less than 4 maffia players to start with. We lynched only one.
