i hate to push votes. but with 2 hours until the deadline GF and Tiink are getting a big FoS. first off, Tiink is active yet hasn't even voted and GF voted and has been active, but decided to cast her vote on someoen who wasn't even a candidate right now.

GF i get that you feel Kiv is scummy, but i think right now we shoudl be concentrating on a controlled lynch rather than voting for who we feel is most scummy when it wont garner a majority. early on this is fine, but not with 2 hrs until the deadline.

and Tiink, your lack of a vote anywhere, coupled with your previous actions just makes me wish we were voting you instead of Ishy tbh.

Lol Red wth? I'm here before the deadline and I usually am anyways. I said I'd vote Ishy if I had to.. I don't get why you want to lynch me so bad.

THAT'S A LYNCH!

Final Vote Count

Jack - 1 - Krak

Ishy - 8 - Aemon, Red, Min, Sakaea, Jack, Ishy, Hoof, Kivam

Sakaea - 1 - Amega

Hoof - 1 - Moon

Kivam - 1 - GF

14 Alive, 8 to Lynch

Apologies, your Mod has a sister with a flat tire that she had to go get 30 minutes away.

The poor minstrel. All he had wanted all his life was to entertain and please the royals. He did his best to sing the pretty songs they loved to hear and to make the maidens dance, but it was never enough. They quickly turned on him, citing that the minstrel had once been turned away from the Lord of the Middle of No Where's ball a few years previously. The minstrel even admitted to anger from the affair, but pleaded that he was innocent. It did not matter. A hangman's noose was quickly formed, and he was strung up outside the walls.

As the court returned to the grand hall, and stare at the now silent minstrel's stand, a point was raised. How could the minstrel have possibly killed the Lord, when the music had never stopped playing?

Ishmael, the Minstrel, Roleless Vanilla Townie, is dead.

It is now NIGHT 2. The Deadline is Saturday, August 13th at 2:30 PM EST.

If you wish to pass on your action, please message me No Action. The previous day's voting is now wiped clean.

It is completely ridiculous that we cannot get another lynch train going. We are hamstringing ourselves going forward.

I will be around at deadline and will hammer if necessary, but for the love of God, people, start playing this game!

(BTW, GF - I have absolutely no idea what your posts meant. Could you break it down, please? And throwing a vote on someone who has 0 votes, 3 hours before deadline, is an absurdly scummy play.)

Oh, I can break it down. Imagine the scheme of no night kill the first night. The healer might assume themselves targeted. So they are revealed, though any cautious, experienced player will not do so. What is Moon's profile? Is she experienced or gotten lynched early? So Moon, it would fit very well, not full coordination, she reveals an early doc, always suspect, after all for the mafia side the symp is expendable. So then there's a plan presented, or rather prepared, that the real doc is brought to the fore, then, lynch Sak who is obviously town, lynch moon who is a symp though made innacurasies, and finally lynch the real doc! A realistic plan. And mafia didn't know there was a symp, I feel this was a bit forced. That is the theory.

OK, so:

1) Assuming the mafia No Kills night 1, hoping the healer believes they are targeted. [OK, that would be the goal of a N1 No-Kill, yes]

2) The healer will reveal [not necessarily, but likely; once scum know who you are, it doesn't hurt to have the town know as well]

3) Moon is a symp fake-claiming doc [wait, what? Why do that? If the scum are looking to out the doc, then a symp fake claim hurts the scum plan. And symps don't coordinate with the mafia, the symp would not know that there was no kill N1, so the symp would also assume the scum know who the doctor is. This makes no sense]

4) She claims to have protected a townie, so that when there's a counterclaim, the townie will get lynched, then the real doc . . . [hmmm . . . this is a very detailed plan, and one that makes no sense at all if Moon is a symp, since there would be no coordination with the scum.]

You know I see a lot of finger pointing and honestly not sure.

Vote Ishy

Just cause you left my room . *giggles*

Can we get a vote count oh great and powerful Mod?

Joke vote on Day 2 after suspicious Day 1 activity and little info from lynching an inactive?

I'm adding Min to my list of "people I'd be just fine lynching today"

It's just a stall vote.

Meaning she's voting someone so no one gets on her for not voting, but it's not someone who's likely to be lynched so she's not committed.

With Min's vote, Ishy is (as far as I can tell) in the vote lead. With the way people play around here (do nothing til the day before deadline, then rush to vote) that's a dangerous place to be.

I'm curious as to why you're defending her.

I'm not, I'm just pointing it out.

I am always up for a Jack lynch, but honestly I don't see how we can get that train going this late in the day. I always think Jack is scum, so I don't think it is a waste to get rid of him. Besides, if he is town the mafia might pick him off for us.

This series of posts really has my attention heading into tomorrow. Min basically slipped the noose around Ishy's neck by putting him in the vote lead close to deadline with a joke vote, then Krak defended her, denied defending her when called on it, and then Min subtly fought the idea of a Jack lynch and all but said "only Ishy can be lynched" by painting it as impossible to get a lynch on anyone else.

Right now, Min is my preferred lynch candidate tomorrow, as if she's scum, we'll be able to take a hard look at Krak and jack (and I'd bet at least one, if not both, are scummates).

Somehow I doubt the vote will get much traction, though - we'll likely last til deadline and random lynch again. 'cause, you know, that's how the town wins . . .

***Token "Blah" Post***

Blah. And I thought we had something Min....

Seriously, had a lot of fun in my first game, good luck to Team Town, root the scum out and hang 'em!!

*Grabs Ishy and stuffs him in her room so they can snuggle. He was brought back to life through magical means. *

Lily, get the Pathfinder joke in there. Ishy I will miss you.

Tinker stands out as my number one suspect at the moment with Jack and Min close behind. Unless something drastic happens, that is where my vote will likely go tomorrow.

Any reason I'm a top suspect?

Posted

well, tinker and graendals favourite not voting when we are so near the deadline is simply unforgivable, so tinker (being the one who aroused so much suspicion yesterday) shall get my vote.\

also, i do not know why people are mentioning a symp. this is a basic game, which, if i am not mistaken, by dragonmount standards means 3 scum, a finder, a doctor, an SK and 6 townies.

I will not vote Ishy, I feel he is town!

Doesn't matter. He's been hammered, and losing a roleless townie - he'd better be roleless after self voting - is better than a random lynch that might take out the doc, cop, or Sakaea

Yes it does matter kivam. Its the same reason I choose to keep my vote on sakaea. What im seeing out off this and a couple above is that you are desperate to lynch anyone. Weither you agree that their town. That my friend is absurd. Yes random can take out a doc or cop ect. But it can get scum to. And guess what ishy wasn't scum he was town. And it looks to me like you and red are the ones who pushed this lynch.

Also what's so special about sakaea being RK above anyone else...did she reveal I can't keep gamess straight all the time.

Red you understood why gf would vote kiv as scummy but it wasn't the time. You also fos tinker and gf like 4 times for not voting how you wanted them to. Yet you say you hate pushing votes. Well you seem to be doing it well... you seem just as eager to vote anyone you can get a bandwagon rolling going on. I think I will move my vote to one of you nxt day.

Hello? I made sure to be on before the deadline but there was already 8 people on the vote. What's the deal?

Amega

1) you understand that a random lynch gives us almost no information, right? And that on day two -especially with no night 1 death - we are much better off listing a roleless townie and getting information than going to random? Honestly, if you are happy with random lynches, please just stop playing mafia. It's that type of attitude thats made dm mafia so lousy lately.

2) sakaea is both the queen & the person moon protected

Blackhoof:

Suggesting a sk exists in a game with no n1 death is absurd. I'll change my mind if we have a 2 death night. Otherwise, thats not a possibility w should be worrying about. Big FoS you for muddying the waters

Posted

@Jack- Mostly it's this:

"if someone CC's, wel then we will see what shakes loose." that's a bait Sakea, verbatim how you wrote it. Your inviting a CC to get information. Or to try and lynch our uncountered doc.

Since when has saying "if this happens we'll have more to go on" been a bait? Especially if you believe Moon's claim of being the healer and protecting Sakaea (which you apparently do because you unvoted Moon). While it's not enough for me to call you scum outright, it has perked my ears more than a little. The fact that Amega and BG immediately followed your lead is also interesting, though BG pulled his vote off after Kiv pointed out the Moon protecting Sakaea factor.

amega, yes i hate oressuing people to vote, but i will pressure people to vote close to the deadline (less than 24hrs) in oprder to make sure we avoid a random lynch; for the exact reason you say in the above post. random lynches give little to no info.

you also misunderstand why i FoS GF & Tiinker.

Tiinker because of his lack of a vote at all. this could cost us the controlled vote and yet even 3 hrs till deadline he still hadn't voted. after saying he'd throw his vote in to achieve a controlled majority.

GF i FoSd over vote distancing. we had 2 vote leaders, instead of throwing her vote soemoen that could help us get a majority, she brings up a new candidate less than 5 hours until the deadline.

And yet an hour before the deadline I was there. Which I said before and you apparently chose to ignore..

I can't believe I'm seeing people advocate a random lynch! That's scary. I don't even know what to say to that. A random lynch is never a good idea. They almost always hit town (I've seen them hit mafia one time in the two years I've been playing) and could hit a power role. You know, roles we NEED to win the game? *shakes head*
