I'm more so comfortable with a genvieve vote. Out of everyone she seems to have posted the least. If we lose her now we don't really lose anyone actually playing the game. So that's one good thing and IMO is the best possible course of actions at this stage in the game. I'll give her until tomorrow but that's where Im comfortable placing my vote.

 

So, any good lynch ideas you all. Krack has yet to show up. Unless our mod goddess has a replacement I say we lynch him.

 

 

Ok, guys, it's time to actually start playing mafia. Min's unvote and explanation for it are probably the two things that stood out most to me thus far, and her suggestion that we lynch Krak (low-hanging inactive fruit) is also ringing some bells. Unvote. Vote: Minuet

i agree moon- likely there were mafia on the Gen lynch train, as an inactive is a tempting targetfor any mafia team looking for an easy lynch. the first few people were trying to pressure, the last few were after a controlled lynch, but the middle ones are the most likely candidate for scum.

 

in addition, mins weird mistake is strange. not really scummy, but.... strange.

Hoofie I didn't make a mistake, I knew I was the hammer vote. I just didn't know if I would be on before the deadline and after over 24 hours without her posting I figured that was enough. So, I hammered her. I couldn't count on someone else doing it before the deadline and I detest random lynches.

 

Now as far as aemon's vote I have no idea what he was thinking. The hammer had already come down. Maybe he didn't realize it or wanted to get in on the vote in case she was mafia. Who knows.

just a few things of note.

 

i have to agree with Blackie and the Min thing right now. her insistance that she was the hammer when it said plainly on the VC that her voted wouldn't be is wierd.

Seems like aemon and sakaea are mod confirmed innocents. I won't be voting for either of them any time soon

What is wrong with unvoting and then teasing about lynching an inactive? It got the mod to poke him which is always fun. I unvoted the queen because I so think someone else is scum, but working on my theory there. Right now it is pure gut and I don't do to well there.

 

My vote on Kae was purely a gag vote as she and I were recently partners in a game, we were town and well it didn't go so well. So, I had to tease her. I unvoted because I don't like to leave gag votes out there too long.

Why you are Kiv, well your hitting on my radar. I'm getting a townie read on Min, but she's usually only town when I think she's scum. I'm gunna look at a couple of things.

 

Oh for God's sake. You ALWAYS think I'm scum, Pete. Every. Single. Game. You were right by default once, and wrong something like 7 times. It may be time to start discounting your Day 1 reads of me as scum, you know?

and lastly, i've quoted this for two reasons. 1st this is the vote that starts the Gen train and advocates the "pressure" on an inactive. thing is, when this post was made it was over the weekand and on Day 1, this means that what happened (a fast bandwagon) was the likeliest thing to happen. so i'm not buying Lily's last post of "theres a differance between voting an inactive for pressure and for lynching"

 

i'm not saying her aim was to lynch Gen, on the other hand i'm pointing that finger at Jack.

 

 

the 2nd reason i point this out, is because she advocates voting Wolf, yet a few pages ago acknowledge my replacement of Wolf and even welcomed me into the game. also there is her reasoning for voting Gen over Wolf which pings me as well. not to meniton the fact she felt she had to state one vote isn't pressure when most of us know this already.

I thought I was vote 8. So, I can't count when I am on heavy meds. Oops. Good thing I am not doing much but sleeping then. I honestly thought I was the hammer. I guess Aemon was then.

 

Red glad to have you in the game. I will admit Ishy and I had a lot of ungame related spam. We are getting into our characters. *giggles*

 

I will state this again I think, don't know cause I just need to get it out. Inactive players take away from the game. They down right piss me off to be honest. Now, if they have a reason is one thing, but I try to check in at least once a day. Even when I am hardly able to see the screen right now I am checking in. I signed up for the game and want to play it. I am constantly in games where there are more and more inactives. They take away from the game for the other players not to mention it is a good place for the mafia to lurk. So, getting rid of the inactives to me is always a good idea. If you sign up to play a game then play it, if you can't ask for a replacement. That is the bottom line. Also, if you are on the replacement list and can't for some reason carry through, then tell the mods you can't. Inactivity takes away from the fun of the game for all who are active.

Min, I know you feel the need to defend yourself against the acccusations. I understand this. However, Until you said this about the sick thing, I thought maybe you had a double vote and were trying to either hint/throw off suspicion of it

It's still possible, but this is a "basic" mafia, so I doubt it.

 

Now, I agree that inactivity can be no fun. It's like agreeing to be the one to bring the paper plates for a birthday party and then not showing up.

Moon. Her primary contribution day 1 was categorically refusing to vote for an innocent and then patting herself on the back for it after the coroner report. I can understand not wanting to lynch an inactive, but if that's what you're going to do, then contribute something else. Suggest another lynch candidate. pressure a different player. Something.

 

Instead, all Moon did was very ostentatiously refuse to vote a townie - and then, after the lynch, tried to make sure we all noticed it.

 

That's the scummiest thing I've seen all game.

guys, the thing i have against lynching inactives is this. we're doing the scums job for them. a lynch on an inactive gives us very little info on the lynch; given that this is Day 1, this is especially bad.

 

also, with inactives, generlaly either the scum will Nk them (which is why i say we're doing the scums work for them) or the mod will replace them (as we've seen Chrissy is willing to do) so those who push for an inactive lynch, especially on Day 1 raise mega flags in my book ... *looks pointedly at jack*

Kiv, you make a compelling case. Moon's behavior didn't really catch my eye. I had to read it again, but it appears to be classic scum.

 

Red, lulz, you vote me because I name my five/six top suspects in the game and people I'd be happy to see lynched for various reasons. I thin say who out of the five/six that is my top for a lynch. Then I didn't vote because the reasoning was meh for day 1. I then voted the way I said I was leaning on voting.

 

 

You trump day 1 up to be something that it isn't. The lynch was going to be random like they are 90% of the time and it was going to carry 0 or almost 0 info. Getting rid of an inactive keeps the game running smoothe.

Not necessarily a good thing, since it means scum likely knows who the doc is. Which would explain Moon's hyper reveal, and would make me very suspicious of Jack's quick vote if it wasn't based on a solid case put out by a handsome guy
